Generally I've lived a very healthy life.. especially for a pirate. Most of my injuries were sustained while working on machines, which I have a very deep passion for, Mentally I've never had any issues or "defects" aside from my hyperactive tendencies that causes me to always be working with my hands, otherwise I grow restless. I also suffer from insomnia, so staying up for rather long work shifts won't be an issue.
Origin I was born into a life of a Hessian, Vogtland Base, I started working with my hands around the age of 13 and was helping my father with repairing our brethren's ships by 17, I've been a proud and active engineer ever since. It wasn't long before I began my first patrols in space alongside my father, an aging warrior who served our cause willingly and gave my family a name to be proud of. Unfortunately however, when I turned 23, my father ventured to deep into the Omegas and his ship was never found. I heard stories from his wing that he died in a dogfight with nomads, buying them time to escape. However when I ventured deep into that same space to recover his ship, I could not recover the body, but a thorough diagnostic of the ship's damaged systems revealed he hadn't the time to react to the ambush and never fired a shot off. His friends had lied to me to bear me the shame of knowing my father's life was simply snuffed out in a mere matter of seconds. I... was... terrified, to say the least. Something so powerful that could tear through a heavily armored Thor in a matter of seconds was out there, stalking us from afar, recognizing our weaknesses and exploiting them.. like predatory animals. I spent the next 5 years of my life on a station hidden deep within Omega-7, making my living repairing edge world class ships, border worlds and on the rare occasion a Sunrider or Raven's Talon, though most pirates preferred different ships. While there I heard that nomads could be spotted in surrounding systems, dreading what would happen to me if I stayed isolated in such a station with no ability to call for help I decided to flee to Barrier Gate, where I've been living and working for the past 3 years. But even here, so close to Liberty.. I can feel them watching me, they never leave, I can't sit idly by while such a threat looms in the dark any longer, while people's lives are simply snuffed out much like my father's had been.
Previous Jobs, affiliations or past experiences? What can you bring to us? Ship Mechanic, Red Hessian, Basic station repair and operation skills. I can bring you my thirst to serve and protect the people of Sirius, whether they want my help or not. I can also aid you in the maintenance of your ships and equipment. I can pilot well enough to fight and chart out maps, but I really prefer to be working on a project.
Which position would you be more comfortable filling? (Logistics/Paramilitary/Research & Development/Other) Wherever you deem my skillset most useful, Other.
Briefly tell us about yourself. I am a hard working woman, traumatized and haunted by several things. I wish to put my skills and abilities towards something that actually matters, rather than my own personal gain.
Why do you wish to join us? I'm done working for my own benefit and ends, it's time to serve a higher calling, the nomads are a threat to us all and we need protectors, even if those blind enough to the threat do not want protection.
