✠ Type 1

With the lastest intel from BAF, IRMM has decided to release an old project that nobody had no use for until now. Mobile Fortification System, Type 1, is to be deployed from Capital ships close to enemy docking points in order to halt their progress. Depending on the use, it comes either with Thorium Reactor or Fusion Reactor. With 4 Deep space scanners to scan only the nearby area until enemy Capital ships get in range. Along with several docks, this system allows for Guerilla type of warfare that Maltese know quite well.

Employing Cerberus class technology, overpowered to reach extreme distances at the cost of its lifespan. Since it's only a temporary solution, this station is expected to be blown up in any case. Using cheap materials that are easy to find in where it's built, this can prove to be a hurting piece of equipment for the enemy opposition. Alongside with a temporary shield that is powered by an array of Nanocapacitors to raise the shield up when it's necessary.

Nanocapacitors are charged while the system is not under attack and disconnect from the powercore to push as much energy as possible into weapon systems. It's advised to use MOX near Rheinland space and H-Fuel in the rest of the colonies. Basic Hull panels are required to operate this defense system and it's maintained solely by AI robots. And thanks to them, the system can work even with holes in it's hull as long as the power is not interrupted.
