Well I don't really have an issue with the GMG with Outcasts, Outcasts with Bretonia, Blood Dragons with GMG, Mollys with BAF etc so long as its all good decent RP and that there are reasons within the mod and RP for it having occurred. The Golden Chrysanthemums, for example, are an unlawful group but only by Kusari standards. Liberty and Bretonia both consider them freedom fighters and the GC even actively and openly assist/help Bretonia. Interspace Commerce and Synth Foods discreetly aid (sometimes openly) aid GC.
They're only an unlawful group depending on whose perspective we're talking about, so it isn't all clear cut. The GMG regard the Blood Dragons as honourable and fighting to make Kusari a better place to do business in. The Blood Dragons have an alliance with the GC and a loose alliance with the Outcasts, so both those groups could easily have arranged a diplomatic meeting between the Outcasts and the GMG.
Theres real no logic within the game for GMG aligning with the Outcasts!
GMG only income is related to the production and sale of H-Fuel.
Outcasts just wouldnt put themselves in situation where they would become a direct threat to 4 main faction houses, but this is actually what will happen if the GMG Outcast alliance goes forward.
The four main faction houses would have to see this action by both GMG and Outcast as a threat to continue supply of H-fuel through out Sirius.
These are the types of situation where unilateral action is taken by a few individual on a public server, has a major affect on the game Role-play for everyone else on the server.
All online RP servers need to change to allow growth, but changes need to be better thought out and controlled.
Quote:Well, some of you may have read about the dealings between GMG and Outcasts. Okay, its their matter, but i would like, the players will think about consequences. It will mess diplomatics between KNF and GMG and some others.
That was my statement from the first post. It means as what it is written. Its their roleplay. Me simply does not want an unbalanced Sirius or a battlefield of only 2 sides. We have a lot of strange politics. Even in the original game, diplomacy was strange. It does mean, two friends of mine, have not to be friendly to each other.
To bring in rl politics in a game, where you can have chars on opposing sides is quite odd. Try imagine a loyal american soldier, who is also fighting loyal for Al Quaeda. With loyal i mean, no agents/spies or double agents/spies. Sure, many can differentiate between their chars, but many cannot.

Except of course, survival against the Corsairs who come into Sigma.

And of course the major GMG trade lane running Plutonium through the Omegas to Lanzarote base.

You are saying that a ceasefire is an alliance. Given the 'reception' the GMG had when they went to Omicron Alpha I dont think any 'friendship' would go so far as to include combined military action. Not having the Outcasts attack Sigma as well as the Corsair would be sufficient I think.
A group caught between the two largest collections of factions on the server (maybe barring Liberty lawfuls) would be wise to pick a side at least for a while - the GMG are not Zoners!

So then where is the Houses outrage against Corsair attacks on Naha? *listens to the sound of the tumbleweeds blowing).

As opposed to the unilateral action where pirates decide they are going to RP attack Sigma to 'teach the GMG a lesson'.
Were the possible RP consequences of this thought out? Even Zoners would start shifting sides if that were to happen to their Freeports.
As for control - you presumably mean control by yourself, or whatever faction you belong to?
If the admins are against the idea of a ceasefire between Outcast and GMG, then they will say so.
Until then it is up to the factions to sort it out.
Mmm...I don't think we are moving toward two sided politics, I think we are moving away from them, by breaking the LAWFUL/UNLAWFUL debate, but that may just be the bretonian angle....We're allied with revolutionaries whos freinds, the BD, dislike us, while fighting a government, We've sided with the Outcasts over the IMG, and we are losing Libertonian friendship over that.
I think that people who cannot differentiate really dont have much place playing multiple characters.
