Ever have that moment where you realize "That could have gone better"?
My name is Devin Blackwood, and I represent The Nemesis, a small but growing cell within The Gaians. The Nemesis has only recently come to power with the catastrophes that have struck Bretonia. From the butchering of Leeds to the desecration of Planet Gaia, these are the events that have galvanized a newer less passive generation of Gaians. Those who have come before me chose talk before action, I will not repeat their mistakes.
A few days ago, a small trade convoy sent into Liberty space on strict orders of diplomacy, upon entering Manchester they found a Gaian Wildlife smuggler running for the border. They pursued and eventually caught up to him in Magellan, where he negotiated his life, for ore. That is where things apparently went south. While the two pilots came back babbling like terrified madmen they came back alive, scared shitless, but alive none the less.
Shane informed me after calming down that he mentioned trade deals with you, which is a bit of a mixed message. While currently Gaians produce very little what was meant to be discussed was we do have a relatively steady trickle of goods coming from raids on Planetform and Orbital Spa and Cruise. Additionally, an uptick in supply ships coming from Liberty to aid in the reconstruction efforts has lead to an increase in "accidents". In addition to moving ill-gotten goods, we are also looking for staging grounds. Planetform and OS&C are not just a threat in Nature in Bretonia, they are a plague across Sirius. If we entered into a partnership it would be under a few restrictions:
No Cardimine will enter Bretonia from Liberty, any shipments of Cardimine found in Bretonia will be destroyed. Now, because we are not monsters who do not understand addiction, each pilot is permitted 5 units for personal use.
No Slaves in Bretonia, any slave ships found in Bretonia will be ordered to offload the cargo on the nearest Junker or Gaian installation.
Mr Blackwood
What a pleasant surprise...
I personally saw your two lads
stealing copper from my back yard
Luckily Shane has jokes, and I like jokes.
So it went from stealing to sharing.
And that's a big thing: I don't like sharing.
So you're asking us for some co-operation
but you don't want me sending drugs and
slaves through Bretonia. How does that
work when your lads trespassed here in the
first place? Usually about this time I throw
a temper tantrum and harp on about how
you did this, I mean that, they fucked her.
What ever.
Shane did your organization a favour,
He actually impressed me, a funny guy
considering the circumstances. So let's
forget the crap and get right to the point;
We can supply you with anything you need
to continue your fight, but in return I want
unhindered passage of trade in our core
business which is the two things you don't
want happening. So I'll make you this deal;
You ignore mine and the other Rogue
transports traversing through Cortez and
Coronado, and I'll tell my boys and girls to
avoid any other Gaian systems with those
particular cargoes. In return we want all the
shiny things that sell well in Liberty and we
can get you weapons, armaments, equipment
and women. You probably don't need the girls
but hey, every man has needs from time to time.

As long as you keep your Slavers and Drug runners out of Bretonia Proper, I'll be honest I don't care, Cortez is far to hot for us to operate in and Coronado is firmly under Crayterian control. we really don't operate in those systems. As for the guns, we are arming a resistance on Planet Gaia and we need whatever weapons we can muster. If you would like to bring them in yourselves and make a few extra credits take them to Kirkwall, you may remember it as an old Outcast drug den, the air may feel a lot cleaner when you arrive. As for the women, we have no need, but thank you nonetheless for the offer. As for the "shiny things", that was the main purpose of contact, transports we hit with supplies we cannot use generally get shipped off by a Junker to god knows where, at least you guys will likely give us a fair price.
Mr Blackwood
Lucky for us both, we have no need to
send drugs and workers to Bretonia so
we shouldn't have any issues there. I can
also arrange to send over upwards of over
10,000 light arms to your organization with
in the next 14 standard days. We get them
cheap, so I can offer them too you for near
$750 per firearm crate. I always like to help
the course of chaos, hence why so cheap.
In return, I'd like to see an increase in all
things shiny coming from Bretonia, more
so if they come in the form of of Bretonian
officers of the military. I'm paying a current
premium on Libertonian ones so if you can
offer 50 officers for my guns, then we can
consider this a good start to our new found
relationship. Hell, if you can gather some of
those Gauls as well, I'd be stoked.
My man. I think you and I
will become more than mere
acquaintances soon enough.
300 pilots will more than sate
my appetite. I'm currently
working on tracking certain
ex-comrades routes and will
be acquiring you a fair bunch
of goodies to help your cause.
