What is not normal is that an individual conditions the game of other players without being in the game. In fact, I think it should be forbidden to put bases in attack mode and near holes, jumpholes or npc bases. This can not only cause problems to one player but to many, just mount bases near Eishemberg or the 2 Omega 7 bases and goodbye Argentium silver. If you don't use my club you don't keep the base and you don't make teams. There should be a rule of not being able to build bases to less than 10k of bases, holes, jumholes and tradelines.Anyway, what Kalhmera has done is the same as if you kill me in one system and then take another ship in the same system to chase me. These kind of controlling players don't make sense in this or any game.
Dude, I'm not sure how much simpler the community needs to make this for you.
In role play via communication channel;
* Contact the LPI and say you're sorry for breaking Liberty Law
* Pay the fine - Kahl isn't unreasonable. Just thorough.
* Station no longer will shoot you.

Alternatively;
*Change ship name
*Dodge bullets and dock anyway
No, man, that's not the way, that's playing without being in the game, cheating and looking for loopholes in the rules to screw the other players. I prefer that the admin decide.

Can you please show me where in the rules you deem this rule-breaking? Because I can tell you now, the next step is to make it so your ship cannot land anywhere in Liberty.
It took years just to get to a point where LPI would even be diligent about something like this, but now the issue is that you want everything in-game as opposed to split on the forums. I sympathize with wanting more in-game to matter, but that's just not how it is here, and it never will be. You're lucky that the LPI folks around now will respond to you at all.
The entire point of police is to catch and punish people who were doing what you were doing, in-rp. They have the right to enforce that in-game to the maximum of their ability, so long as you have ways to work around them. You already do, and they've been described here. By rights you shouldn't even be able to smuggle in a ship that big, and if it were up to me you'd be restricted to a freighter for the sake of in-universe sensibility. There's nothing else to add.

I dont see why this is a big deal, just avoid the shots and quickdock. You broke the law, you got caught, people try to kill you now. If you don't like it, why did you choose smuggler as a profession?
declare war on the POB
blow it up

You... have no idea how sieges work, do you? In its current state, Albany is borderline un siegeable. Even without the near endless amount of indie cap defenders, you would still need at least 8 heavy battleships with 3 siege turrets each, as well as 1-2 repair ships to take out the base in any reasonable amount of time.

Kracken, you won’t be getting any help from the GMs. In fact, if Kalhmera really wanted to, he could utilize Faction Right 5 (which does require GM approval, which he would get with sufficient RP) on that ship, which instead of only having the POB shoot at you, would make Manhattan itself, as well as any Liberty Police bases, hostile to you. Alternatively, you could just change the name of your ship, and then the base will leave you alone. Problem solved.
Right, this has gently skirted towards the side of Not Entirely Constructive city. Like Greylock said, you won't get help from the team about this, Kracken, it's a problem easily solvable by yourself through various means. Pick one and let's move on.
