Seriously, whoever had the bright idea to do this, you suck. I just had a BHG Battleship burn through my 450k of shielding, and 1.8 million armor, in under 20 seconds at 2k distance while trying to dodge.

I hate you, and I hope you burn.

Heh. The idea was to give battleships more diversity.

Before it was either; Full anti-cap (Full Prim + 1 HM/M), full anti-fighter (Solaris/Secondaries, 2 Pulses, 1 HM/M), or a mix, which wasn't very good in either category. With this new setting, 6 Prims are as good as 12 old ones. Same firepower, less turrets needed. That allows BSs to go with 6 Prims and 6 Solaris, while having the firepower of the old 12-prim BS, but now with anti-fighter capabilities. It's basically giving the small BSs a boost, which they desparately needed.

EDIT: At Dab:
All right, diversity works well in theory.
But when the caps mount all the same gun, they can chew through a smaller ship in seconds flat, it's ridiculous. Power consumption doesn't matter because once the ship is dead, you don't need to worry about it.

This is just ridiculous.

You know, I find it really hard to understand why people actually put in work on the mod, when anytime anything changes that Tenacity doesnt like he insults them. The rest of you too. How about you learn to act like an adult.

Every other ship class in the game has to specialize, why the hell do battleships get special treatment?

And 12 primaries kills your target twice as fast as they used to. These guys arent even bothering with mortars anymore, a full cerberus loadout lets them rape any other capship they come across.

I understand the intent, but it was a bad fricken idea. What's worse, these cerbs are faster than my light mortars, and have about the same range, so I cant even sit at max range without getting ripped a new one.

That isnt the issue, there were two enemy battleships, with one battleship and two carriers on our side. Our battleship went down within a minute, and my carrier only seconds afterwards.

This wasnt a one on one fight.
