only thing Bcruiser needs is speed of 89 to match battleships...everything else is fine...
speed is only issue with Bruisers, atm every ship can out run it, and i find that funny since it is supposed to be balance between Cruiser and Battleship
To the person who stated that Battlecruisers dish out more damage then a Battleship, wrong.
Using Basic turrets.
A Battlecruiser will deal around 32520 points of damage per second.
A Battleship deals out 44400 points of damage per second.
Removing the 2 Class 10 turrets from the BC reduces it to 25120 per second.
Battlecruisers original concept was a step up from an Armored Cruiser not a step down from a Battleship.
The intent was for a ship to have the armor of a battleship but maintain the speed of a cruiser thus allowing for the ship to enter the battleline with battleships and permit the cruisers to do their function, anti submarine and anti aircraft. Cruisers were never intended on being used to combat main line heavy warships, just defensive vessels to protect larger ships like battleships and aircraft carriers.
(taken from a naval historical site)
If you really want to have battlecruisers fit in, then place them as intended by definition.
Current armor values:
Battleships - 340000 to 800000.
Battlecruisers 270000 to 300000
Cruisers 160000 to 260000
Destroyers 190000 to 200000
Gunboats 55000 to 135000
Battleships should range from 400000 or 500000 at the lowest end.
Bretonia Destroyer needs to be reclassified as a Bretonia Cruiser based on its stats.
Suggested Armor value:
BB 400000 and up
BC 360000 to 380000
CC 200000 to 260000
DD 160000 to 190000
GB 100000 to 140000
Suggested Vessel Speeds
BB 90
BC 120
CC 135
DD 150
GB 170
Oh, as to the hull classifications.
BB is the hull classification for a Battleship, not BS. The origination was that the basic version of a vessel would use the hull classification of double the ships first letter except in the case of carriers.
(BB CC DD FF SS) This system was introduced in 1907, a bit longer then Microsoft's use of BS.
Granted BC has only been used in the gaming world thus far for battlecruisers (1980 was the first time I saw reference to it)
