From: Chief of Police Jean Holiday To: OSCL|Luxemburg Subj: Law Violation
Good day,
Evidence has been brought forward by a concerned citizen that you were in fact smuggling illegal artifacts through Liberty and made your drop at Manhattan. This is a crime and a fine of five million credits is being imposed against you. The fine can be paid to LPI-Bank and you have 48 hours to make your payment or further action will be taken against you.
It pains me to see any Orbital craft in violation of Liberty Law, though in this case it appears to be a lesser affiliate doing business as Orbital rather than a captain on our official roster. The corporate structure of OS&C is a... bit of a mess. We opened up a lot of freelance and franchise positions during the war to cover routes our liners couldn't, and most of those contracts are still active despite our records being almost totally destroyed on Curacao. I thank you for putting Luxemburg on our radar, but I hope the following payment will not require an escalation of force against an asset flying Orbital Spa and Cruise colors.
If he does it again, of course, we'll write him off and let justice be served. I have hope that he'll find his way back to the corporate family proper, but some pilots truly are lost causes.
