As it stands most of the time I get treated like a voice activated money dispenser.

Agreed! When I get PIE-Rotted, I like to think the fee entitles me to a conversation. I usually begin to converse with the pirate after I pay the fee. Some are willing to chit chat a little. Sometimes I learn useful things. Some folks don't wanna talk. After being pirated - I don't ALWAYS message military players to report positions... but guess which category of pirates I report... talkative ones or the ATM style...?
Tiny pet peeve - being pirated by folks that show up green to me!!! Arg!!! I uess every player has a hard time keeping their rep fixed. I also love players with evil sounding names like: Satan's Death Dealer, etc... who are actually mild mannered traders!!! I go out of my way to dodge around and avoid these players and then by accident bump into them and they are flying a train. DOHH!!!
I've always gotten quite lucky. I approach, ask them to stop, sometimes ask for money/sometimes threaten to open up their hold if they don't hand over the money, usually ask 0.5 or 1m. Usually get payed. I have encountered things like they give a trade request and then they start cruise engine... That's lame, but I guess it's tact. What I do hate, like you guys highlighted is those guys that look at it statistically. Dying is cheaper. Gah. Someone made a clever remark: would you say that if someone held a gun to your head? Maybe there should be a server respawn or something. They have this 4hour no-reengagement right? Why not make it a 1h no respawn? That will make you think again about dying. People would then take the loss for their one char, but could always play on on another account, effectively increasing the variety of characters and the importance of staying alive if you want to make progress...

We like Feedback just like everybody else. Word has it everybody dislikes us, yet no one ever tells us why. I hope you could.
Some pirate kill me because i dont want to give him 5 milions at one route. Other people in space said him that 5 milions is too much for him it wasn't problem. 5 milions is too much for everyone. I think that this is not good for RP and for game.

Oh it is soooo true ... Last night 5 of us in LRs tried to pirate guy for 50k due to his low level (not low as below 30 but low for trader) and only word he said after we asked him was NO! Anyway if you are doing trade runs through California or Texas and LRs are online, expect to open your gold bag because we'll demand a donation!
Regarding that 75% o my chars here are indeed pirats, i would say there are some pirats around. Just meet some OPG in Omega 5 or GC in Hokkaido. They'll surely pirat you.
But there are also strange traders, just ran into one:
"don't touch me, i'm Zoner, you don't have any right to shoot at me, everyone will hunt you if you kill me blablaetcetc....."
Man, i'm a pirat who does not care about so called "Zoners"
After there are soo many Traders with Zoner ID's but without Tag, i only see those wearing both as "true" Zoners.
Take your time and get both, Zoner ID+IFF and you'll be safe of me. (And don't say it's impossible, there are some around with even Zoner Guard tag. If it is impossible to get Zoner IFF, how the heck did they get Guard??)
Oh, and be sure to not let you be catched while transferring IDs, if you can't get Zoner IFF, who do you get ID's then without breaking any server rule?
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.

That was probably me.
If I see people I don't know running through Chugoku or Hokkaido, I log my pirate. At that time, I hang around either one of the holes and wait for them to come through... once I catch them, boom, tax 4-6m (for an advanced train). Most of them prefer to die, for obvious reasons, but a couple actually paid. However, traders have this silly belief that you can only be pirated once every 4 hours.. many who paid were surprised to come back and see my cannon in their face again. If they start to send anything larger than a gunboat against me (they never send bomber squadrons, go figure), I call in any Dragon I can, beat them off, then continue the piracy.
I think my pirate has made a little less than 80m total from piracy. >.>
On my old NovaPG character, I would tax anyone coming through Chugoku space...if I taxed them previously, I would let them pass unharmed the next time they came through that day.
