Greetings.
I have finished setting up the Bretonian Armed Forces liaison offices on Nauru, and now I will start to address some of our pressing issues. On top priority, I have a business proposal of technological exchange sent down by the Admiralty Board, regarding weaponry and your newly designed snub-craft. As you know, Bretonia still uses the old line of your ships and we are looking into updating the stock we have, as well inquiring on the possibility of using your weaponry as well.
To improve the chances of this deal to become reality, we have a fully functioning Osiris battleship to offer. It goes without saying, we are open to counter proposals.

The Core bids you a good day.
Now I personally mean no offence, I'm just a messenger. However, The Core High Command has found your offering insulting. We find no profit from obtaining an outdated and inferior in design capital ship that should belong to the scrap heap at Toledo's orbit.
On a note of the New Core Snubcraft Shipline. These ships are for The Core pilots exclusively; they are not meant to be traded and/or exchanged. We regret to inform you that The Core will not be updating your snubcraft stock.
However, The Core is open for any offers regarding the Armaments stock. We are ready to provide you with both Snubcraft and Capital ship weaponry if your counter-offer meets our criteria.
Gloria aeterna!

Greetings.
The Admiralty Board sadly regrets your decision. As it is, the Osiris in question was not the main component to this technological exchange, if you assumed so. The main point of this technological exchange is the continued access to updated BAF military-grade technology by the Core and its counterpart by the BAF. With the discontinued old line being limited to existing stocks, it only makes sense we would gain access to the new line in light of the fact that our technology is not discontinued, and remains available to Core uninterrupted.
If Core has no interest in further use of BAF technology or no desire to extend their half of the share to the new designs, then it is only sensible that BAF to discontinue provision of its ships, associated spare parts and specialized know-how that are vital and required to keep them running. This will result in both our technology and your old technology degraded beyond usefulness in a relatively short time. If this is acceptable, then we can conclude this business here and today and as it is, it is just that, business. You will find no foul feelings or hurt from our side in this venture due to this development.
I will wait for your decision and reply to forward it to the Admiralty Board.
I felt the need to address this issue before it became too late to act. With all due respect for both parties involved, the manner of this negotiation is juvenile and misguided. I urge you both to take a more objective stance on the situation and appeal to your wisdom.
The Core new shipline is the result of a VERY lengthy and expensive process supported by the APM and marks a pinnacle of technological advancement in the industry, therefore it is only pertinent to expect that Core forces are the first to be outfitted with them. Just as the Bretonian fleet has recently developed a Battlecruiser class capital ship for itself, The Core has the respect and dignity of not expecting or even requesting a trade involving it; the same courtesy was considered conventional.
In a more ample perspective The Core doesn't expect that the Bretonian side will share it's Battlecruiser class technology even when the Bretonian fleet has been fully rebuilt. Counter to this is that new APM developed ships will eventually be traded off, but under no circumstance before the old models have been replaced.
When it comes to the Order technology - I don't want any of the APM personnel touching that old piece of garbage, let alone retrofiting it for The Core forces to die in it in it's first battle. I mean no offence, but it truly is offensive to expect The Core to want to trade for a vessel that at most can be retrofited into a transport.
Before either side decides to escalate this "Business proposal" any further into precarious circumstances, I need to remind you that the BAF and The Core have had a very prolific relationship that has been maintained from way before any of us were in a leading position. It would be very unwise to damage it on such measly disagreements.
To take it even further outside the box we need to consider how other entities will see the decline of this relationship if it will happen, because it is no longer something we can or have kept secret - is this what the BAF wants the world to see in regards to organizations that stick their necks out and go out their way to help them?

Secretary Laurence Miles, APM CEO Valerian Aion,
It seems I need to take over this communication, as Wake has had to take indefinite leave for personal issues.
As I see it, you do not want us to get access to your latest tech until your boys have it.
Absolutely fine, no issues there.
You wish to maintain access to our tech.
Fair enough, we still have stocks of your ships, though we are unable to acquire more and may have to seek replacements.
Understandably we will not be able to release any further tech to you so long as your own tech remains restricted. This is not to say you will suddenly find your existing stocks inoperable due to some kill switch we have embedded or something like this. We will still deliver you spare parts, at cost, for you to maintain our ships.
You are still helping us out in Exeter and Nottingham, so this is only fair.
On the subject of Exeter, actually, we have been subject to considerable attacks as of late,
even from Enclave forces, who normally have little impact in the system.
What better way to break in your new tech than to test it against the Crack (pot) Elite of the former Gallic Royal Navy.
They are a dying breed as the Confederacy to the north, us to the south, and the Crayterians to the east slowly whittle them down, so now is a once in a life time opportunity.
Regards,
Admiral John Redmond
