Something recently brought to my attention: the Rheinland Wrath.
The Wrath is very very very slow. I mean its agility is barely higher than the Rheinland bomber.
Also, the Wrath is the only VHF in the game I can think of that doesn't have at least 6 forward firing weapons. I was wonder if it would be possible to either A) move the turret to the top of the craft and allow to fire forward or B) add another mount.

I think the Greyhound only has 4 guns too and no turrets.

Beta 2 and name changes will be delayed. Until the end of the week. There is some chance that I'll complete the work today, but this chance is very low.
Same time limit for name changes that I promised (if other admins won't help me here).
Ah, the Raven got it this time ... No surprise there then. Shame really, perfect pirate/
terrorist ship in black ... Still looks one of the coolest in the game. Rather than just
neuter it as a VHF, I would have prefered to see it being graded to a H or LF suitable for
use in the upcoming RP events, or for those with a prediliction for that type of fighter.
Just a thought ...
As for the Phantoms having to take a Xeno tag with no tractor beam. Mmm, sour grapes
here then now. All this will do is make us go to the worst RP scenario available. Transfering
money from neutral or lawful traders to Terrorists ... Not one I relish, having managed to
keep all my good and bad chars well apart and self financing, apart from the initial set up
costs when creating them in the first place.
Terrorists are just as opportunistic as pirates, even if not more so in the attainment of
their goals. And I'm sure everyone is aware of our goals in RP now. And pirates are only
in it for the money afterall. Now this does make us seemingly the only faction without
the ability to tractor anything, and we still are one of the most active RP sections on the
server. I for one would like to call for a bit of a rethink on this one

Basically, I don't like the idea of terrorism at all.
I know it's sort of roleplay, but very doubtful. If you have a right to attach everyone without warning, this would also apply to traders. Some traders act as a support characters for military, but some players just like to trade above other activities. They don't really want to be bothered with useless killing.
This is why I've done what I've done to terrorist ID. Either it doesn't exist, or exists with some exceptions from we-kill-everyone (newbs and NY not counted here) roleplaying, or exists with an unpleasant limitation like lack of cargo beam. Your choice?
We could try a rule where you have to scan your opponent first, if they have a neutral ID their safe because their not in a faction.
But I do see your point igiss.
If we have an exception like, (for instance) :-
untagged or freelance traders cannot be attacked if your a terrorist.
It would be exploited by lawful factions re-naming their traders so that most, if not all, traders are untagged or freelance.
This would mean that there would be no traders for terrorists to attack, the traders would just have to worry about being stopped pirates.
The good point about not having a tractor beam, to me anyhow, is that we can now use most of the mounts as missile/flak turrets as we can't pick stuff up theres no reason to leave anything to pick up.
Also tractor beams don't stop you from taking missions... 2x missions paying $560k each = $2.2 million.
The only problem I have with not being able use a tractor beam is that lawful factions can tractor in any bots or batts floating around and I can't.
Igiss ... Ye of little faith. I hadn't realised you hated the Phantoms quite as much as to
try and put us out of business this way. It is and has always been serious roleplay ...
One of the only factions that actually take it very seriously. As you will have no doubt
noticed by the amount of viewers who look at the message dump. Our "Indiscrimate
Killing" is actually very well planned unindiscriminate attacks, and usually with the co-
operation of the targets. None of us like terrorism in the real world but it exists unfortunately.
All we have done is bring a little more RP to a good server, and those that don't want to
join in always have the opportunity to say so. Half the time none of the house factions
would have anything to do if we wern't around. We have the cleanest PvP record of
anyone here and stick to the server rules, unlike some more recent people.
Its an RP server and we like to RP to the best of our abilities. Don't pull our teeth this
way. If you want us gone just come out and say so ... Or get people to set up against
us, afterall thats the idea isn't it ?

Infocards state that among others the Blood Dragons and Gaiains are terrorists. Also, all factions attack their enemies on site regardless
Phantoms are hostile and at war with everyone. That should mean that phantoms can kill on site, and be killed on site regardless.
Any other faction is still allowed to kill its enemies on site and then tractor the loot, so why not phantom (+others)
