A curious last name for a Rheinlander, I would have taken you for a Dubliner based on the surname alone. But shipping families go where the cargo and the money is, and I suppose such distinctions matter even less for an inter-house organization like Orbital. ONE certainly can always use more help keeping our destinations well stocked, though you are of course welcome to take a stab at ferrying passengers provided you have appropriate accommodations. Compared to crates of consumer goods, passengers are far more interesting conversation, though they do tend to complain about bumpy rides more than a hold full of cargo pods.
In any event, register yourself to our database and we'll start putting you to good use. Welcome to the luxury fleet.

Name:Stan Stone Gender (Include preferred pronouns for Wanderlust if not male or female):male Age:41 Place of birthPlanet Manhattan
Biography:
I was born in the year 786 A. S. on Planet Manhattan, grew up there and studied at Madison Institute of Applied Technologies. But I can safely say that my Liberty citizenship is nothing but formal because I became a citizen of Sirius as I spend some time in all five colonies and most of it in the space. After I graduated, I started to work full time in our small private family trading company Stone Bros Ltd/GmbH, where I was helping and gathering experience even before that, at several positions - as a scout, escort, freighter and transport pilot and later captain as well, also as a technician, during some later period I was even company chief of ship maintenance. At times I also worked as a "leased" pilot, captain or technician for some other companies, hired as a temporary workforce for their teams. Over the years I flew and maintained many ships because the company did not have money to buy new ones so it used second-hand ships, buying anything that was at a good condition and available for a low price.
In year 818 I decided to leave the company and join the Rheinland Federal Police. I know it sounds really crazy because of my Liberty origin, especially in that period when war between those houses was raging. But I was accepted, exactly due to the fact that I spent very little time in Liberty after school, and on the other hand quite some contacts and record in Rheinland due to time I spend there while working for the family company, which even had headquarters there at that time (hence the GmbH in the name). I was motivated by seeking vengeance after personal loss caused by local terrorists but also wanted to do something real for the safety of common workers which make their living in space like me, and security situation was not good, especially in the Omegas.
Over the time I made my way to the rank of kommissar, second highest of the regular ranks. Unfortunately, the situation went from bad to worse gradually as the house economy was burdened more and more by the war and most of the resources and ships were allocated to fight Libertonians while inner security was put aside, leaving it mostly to corporations which had resources to protect their ships at least partially. But nobody from the elites really cared about smaller companies or individuals. Depressed by the development, being outnumbered very often, feeling exhausted and failing at my original motives, I decided to quit in year 822 and return back to our family company, which at that time had HQ in the GMG space and was their affiliate, concentrating on the fuel trading and cargo transportation business.
For some time it went quite good, but later the company had bad luck, lost some important contracts and also ships due to pirate and terrorist attacks, what lead to financial troubles, which ended in a forced sale of the assets and termination. Since then, I worked as a temporary pilot and technician at some smaller companies, also trying my luck as a freelancer. But competition is big and income was unstable.
To be honest, that is something you can tolerate when you are young and without family, but I turned forty now and still have very little savings because despite my career was interesting and brought me to all five houses, none of my jobs provided solid income. That is why I decided to try corporate waters finally and go for a well-paid job. After considering which corporation is known to be in a good economic situation and also does not have a reputation of exploiters which give their employes little wages for a lot of hard dangerous work, your name stayed on the list, especially considering the fact that you are not tied to any house which leaves you out of the most wars and local hostilities.
So that is it. I prefer to be honest. Now you know what I want and what I offer. If you are willing to employ me, I think I could start in a position of scout and escort pilot, pilot or captain of Orbital Network Express supply ships as well as pilot or captain of smaller passenger ships to get some experience with the live" cargo" because I have little to none. And later who knows, I may give a try to get to fly some yachts or liners.
Please give a brief overview of your past work experience if any.
I think it is described above thoroughly, so I will just add this to show my experience:

Jonathan Seabourne here, Caption of Breezewood and chairman of OS&C. I don't know who told you that Orbital's in a "good economic situation" but I felt it would be disingenuous to take you on without ensuring that you know the score. You're right that Orbital treats its crews and captains better than most corporations. Partially that is do to wanting to build a true sense of a corporate family, but we sell it to the shareholders because our crew are always visible to our customers. We require a lot out of them. They need to be friendly and well kept and alert at all times least some drunken socialite leave us a bad review. They need to be as chipper when starting their shift as when coming off covering for a colleague and spending 16 hours on watch. We don't have the luxury of military justice to enforce those standards, so we revert to very expensive carrots for lack of a stick. In the long run, retaining crew members is probably cheaper than constantly burning them out and hiring new ones (Orbital has the 2nd lowest pilot turnover rate in the sector), but it isn't cheap. Liners are easy to lose and expensive to replace, and for every cash cow like Curacao there's a money sink like Baden Baden. Call it a wash, with a slow trickle of funds going into our war chests and rainy day funds for the inevitable next catastrophe we have to navigate.
Speaking of Catastrophes, yes our inter-house status and corporate neutrality spares us a lot of of the flak of the sector. It also makes us a target. While our partner house navies nominally have our backs, I am under no delusion that Orbital is considered a "foreign" corporation to most of them, and even Liberty only views us as a slight step up on its lists of priorities. The only way that groups like us or the Zoners or the GMG survive is by being useful to the big boys and worth the trouble of protecting, least presidents and parliaments simply decide to cut bait. For all the grand standing about the sacrifices of Yukon, both Liberty and us know that the only reason they were willing to push into Cortez during the war was so that the fighting wouldn't take place in California. We are enmeshed with every house, even Gallia, which means their problems often become our problems, and it requires a lot of careful diplomacy, public relations, and sympathy to keep our birds flying. The Rheinland Civil war threatens nationalization of Baden Baden. The Kusari-Gallia conflict has resulted in a resurgent Enclave with a bone to pick with our liners. Pirate attacks kidnap and ransom our liners wherever there's a gap in police coverage. And LPI's on my back over some Gallic Intelligence officer who tried to use one of our races as a cover to get entrance into New York. But those are problems for White Star Lines and her very overworked Sub-Director.
What I'm saying is that Orbital is certainly a unique experience, especially for a citizen of the sector. But it comes with its dangers and most of that fancy paycheck you bring in will be immediately consumed by crew wages and vessel upkeep. If you want a lot of credits with little risk, you'd be better off flying a freighter full of Helium. But, if you're willing to take less money to ship more annoying cargo through incredibly dangerous space just so you can score a photo-op for some Outcast trendsetter's Quinceañera, have I got a spiffy Green jacket for you.
Welcome aboard, I'll be in touch about next steps over a more direct channel.

Jonathan Seabourne

Welcome to the current iteration of the luxury fleet. Always happy to have "natives" on the bridge. I must say I envy those who have an easy time of finding a way to stop by their homes while running their routes (Listing my Breezewood's port of calls as "Curacao-Baden Baden-Pittsburgh" invites a lot of games of "one of these things is not like the others"). I see you're already connected with our comm protocols, so be sure to register you ship and captain with our database and ONE will be along shortly to start giving you marching orders.
Welcome aboard, and enjoy your flight.

Name: Spencer Hickorstad Gender:Male Age:70 years young! Place of birth: Planet Denver, Colorado
Biography: I was born and raised on Planet Denver. In my youth I was never an academic, but I enjoyed the company of people and was very good with my hands. I graduated primary school and got a job working with light rotary machinery. The mines are all but used up on Denver, but there is a lot to be done for salvaging and it provided a paycheck. I didn’t grow up in a very rich family, you see. We weren’t poor, we had food on the table every meal. But we couldn’t afford luxury or vacations. That meant I could not get an advanced education. But, as luck would have it, a job opened up for a planetary shuttle service hauling miners and salvage workers to and from job sites.
I did that for a number of years before I found a job recruiter for an inter-stellar passenger service for some small outfit located in the New York system. Forgive me… it was such a long time ago. Hank’s Passenger Express… something or other. No matter. So, with what little I had, I packed up and shipped off to Newark Station. The outfit had the backing of Interspace Commerce and had an office on station. We would run passengers out from Newark or to and from system wide stations for various reasons… job rotations on stations, VIPs, executives. Well, at first I didn’t run the suits. I wasn’t qualified and certified yet. At first I just ran workers and the like. But, as time went on, I earned reputation enough to haul people wearing suits. Now I’m sure whoever is reading this application knows that people who wear suits and ties for a living expect only the utmost and best. And rightly so, frankly! They want their shuttles to be on time, a smooth ride to and from, and a landing as if the shuttle is a butterfly with sore feet. Smooth as glass, and I was! Only received 1 complaint in my years in service, but word down the grape vine is this particular lady was just that… particular.
That small outfit eventually was bought out, which actually worked out for me. Not only did I provide shuttle within the New York System, but outward as well! I started hauling passengers from California clear over to Texas, even high ranking military officials conducting diplomacy on Freeport 2 out in Bering. That was before the war and the Insurgency and that whole mess.
I did some job rotation and worked a few years as onboard passenger service. You may see in my work history that I was actually hired by Orbital Spa and Cruise as a dock host for a number of years, on and off. I did also try my hand running my own ship for passengers, mostly as an inter-system taxi service. It didn’t last long and I had to sell everything off to avoid filing for bankruptcy. Just a string of bad luck – some customers who didn’t pay, a ship that needed constant repair. I did learn how to disassemble and reassemble a light freighter engine myself! Oof, what a job that is.
Well, to make a long story short, I eventually found myself interested in the big ships those eh, cruise liners and such. I want to really explore Sirius and really bite my teeth into those unknown worlds beyond Liberty House. I finished my qualifications to pilot such a vessel, you should find my documents and certifications attached. As you can see, I have a rich history of passenger service, and I would certainly like to continue that!

No, I play by the rules - at least I try to. Listen to experienced players so if I'm at risk of breaking anything, the action is corrected on the spot.
People from all walks of life find their way to the Orbital family. I myself was raised a dockworker's son on Pittsburgh. What unites us, though, is a passion for our ships and a pride in our work, which you have in spades. Your work experience speaks much to your ability to get passengers to their destination without issue, and I'd certainly trust a intra-house shuttle pilot over a long-haul ore freighter any day to keep our customers happy. Be advised, you may soon find many more of those "particular" passengers gracing your berths.
I'll be in touch soon with more specific instructions. In the meantime, welcome aboard.

Name: Alexandra Southall Gender (Include preferred pronouns for Wanderlust if not male or female):Miss Age:27 Place of birthCambridge
Biography: I ain't gonna split straws about it. Whilst I was born on Freeport 1, I fancy myself a Bretonnian true and proper. My family was born and raised on Cambridge, and most of them went back there not so long ago. They're doing well now, though back then credits found it hard to find their way to our pockets. Ma did her best to keep me on the straight and narrow; education and fast tracks through to some academy planetside... micro-biological something or other. Sheesh. Talk about pressure.
I was more interested in lining my wallet so off I went competing racing craft out in the stars. It'd worry her sick but the credit earning went to good use. Some pro hotshot would beat me to the poll position everytime, so I kept going and kept competing. Pushing it each time. Started to win. Made it pro for all of two seasons. With the winnings I took a holiday on Curacao. Damn... do they know how to party... anyway the point is whilst there (enjoying OSC hospitality like I ain't since), I met the hedonistic, the debauched and the thrillseekers... and thought "hey... I got something they'd pay for." I found a few folks looking for a real rush and took them out through Leeds. Ha! Oh, I'd never seen a look of a daredevil tourist like that before. Made my day.
I called them "joyrides" and offered them to people who seemed interested. Turns out, that was a fair few of the regulars of OSC holiday park clubs. That brings us to now. I've got a little credit earner that I'd like to spool up into more of a professional endeavour, and was wondering if you'd be interested in buying me into the OSC fold to do business together. The way I envision it, see, is I could tag along on your cruise vessels and take your more adrenaline Junky (bonkers) passengers out for a bit of a spin at VIP prices. OSC takes care of the marketing, I take care of the rides themselves and hey presto, we're in business. Take them to places where you may not risk your more expensive liners from venturing. A disclosure or two here and there about the dangers and I don't see no problem. Heck, we could even make a show or two out of it.
Willing to discuss terms, but I'll be upfront on needing the salary and/or perks to be competitive to the private scene. So, ur... what do you say? Interested?

Greetings friend,
What a coincidence: Breezewood finds herself in Bretonia after posting a time on the Dublin track, and we just so happen to get an application from an honest to goodness Bretonian racer. I think there is room for you in the luxury fleet. Breezewood's docking bays have certainly been gathering more dust than I would like, and I know other captains would certainly be happy to give you a platform to offer yet another thrill to our customers.
I did notice a curious typo in your message. When you mentioned the good folk of Curacao, you said "they know how to party." In the future, you should use the first person when talking about the corporate family. We know how to party. Welcome aboard.
