My name is Lily Ward, recently appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. I believe our last contact with you was Minister Westbrook's confirmation of peace with Auxesia through the Treaty of Cortez, which is unfortunately the subject of this message.
Following an exchange in the Dublin system recently between Bretonian and Crayterian forces against those of the Enclave and Mollys, the Crayter Military has submitted a rather unfortunate log of the encounter, which included one pilot's account of an Auxesian ship openly engaging forces of the Bretonian crown. While this alone would provoke a need to confirm this with Auxesia's Military Arm, the Crayter Military report also noted the Auxesian ship's arguable lack of concern towards Enclave ships in vicinity of Crayter vessels, as well as one pilot's personal account of their ship being fired upon by said Auxesian. This ship, A/)-Xanthus, should these allegations be true, would have committed a major breach of not only the active treaty between our two states, but indeed the very peace Minister Westbrook and Crayter as a whole worked towards in light of Auxesia's dubious past.
While these items are in the air, as reports vary slightly from pilot to pilot, the Republic is looking to Auxesia to provide an explanation as to what these actions and reports mean. It is my hope that the Republic's relationship with Auxesia is not in jeopardy, but the attacks on allied Bretonian vessels, as well as the other matters I've pointed out, put that relationship in an unsettling position.
I hope to hear from you soon.

Name's Venator Onyx Statuette, one of the representing seats in the Technocracy of Auxo.
I presume that you haven't followed on the recent developments in the sector. The Technocracy of Auxo are in the state of war with the Empire of Bretonia which started on the fifth of September. Reason is to liberate the system of Inverness, simple as that.
I have reviewed the Treaty you have provided us and I would like to point out that it is, well, kind of out-dated. There's no Kingdom of Gallia anymore, for example.
Adressing the recent skirmish between the Technocracy, Enclave, Bretonia and Republic. I have reviewed the reports and it seems that vessel of Tehnocracy, codenamed Xanthus, was engaged in defensive maneuvers against Bretonians and Crayterians. Treaty do not specify the approach to defensive actions against hostile targets but I suppose at the time it wasn't foreseen that something like that would occur.
More over according to Article 4, Technocracy and Republic should actually fight the imperialistic tendencies of Bretonian Empire as it was seen by Inverness, Omega-49 and Omega-3. Our interests overlap here it seems so we need to figure this out together. Enclave presence on that occasion can be described as opportunistic joint defensive action. Bretonians were out for blood and our assets were caught in the middle of firefight between Enclave and Bretonians and because Enclave was not offensively engaging our assets, pilot on his own accord decided to prioritize Bretonian vessels. There was no intent to engage Crayterian forces in the first place.
I hope this clears the picture and on that note we can open the discussion, how can we modify the Treaty or is there any need to drop it in it's entirety and figure out the totally new approach.
I am pleased to hear that Auxesia is still interested in upholding the articles of our treaty, though the manner in which you've explained things leaves some of my Ministry in a tangle.
The begin, I do wish to clarify a couple points that should shed some light Crayter's view regarding the Treaty of Cortez.
While Crayter understands well that the Kingdom of Gallia has been replaced by the far more democratic and egalitarian Confederacy of Gallia, this does not mean that the same regime that lead Royalist Gallia does not still exist. The Royal Enclave, as they've been labeled, has replaced all definitions of which the term 'Kingdom of Gallia' points to in many texts, including the NATO Charter that Crayter upholds along with the Treaty of Curacao. While our arrangement does specify the Royalists before their defeat at New London, Crayter's definition of the faction is pretty much interchangeable.
Regarding your concerns of Bretonia's imperialism into Inverness, Crayter hasn't seen much military presence within Cortez through to your holdings in Inverness, save for a few patrols into the system. Should such a mobilization occur, Crayter would step in, logically, to uphold our view of Inverness' status as an Auxesian holding per the terms of the treaty, but no such mobilization has occured within Crayter's observations. Omega-3 and Omega-49, the latter of which appears to have been released from Bretonian control, are beyond the terms of the treaty, and the former of which was already largely part of Bretonia's sphere of influence before even Crayter arrived in Sirius. Should Crayter be able to serve as a medium between Auxesia and Bretonia as to the status of Inverness, we can organize such a meeting on neutral ground to determine where the system stands. Beyond that, I do not believe that Crayter sees Inverness as contested.
With that explained, perhaps Crayter's stance is better outlined, and we can begin preparations for a revised form of the treaty. I am of a mind that the only issue with it currently are the terms that outline certain factions that the treaty pertains to, the key one being the Enclave. Updating these terms should fix the inconsistencies that cropped up with the Royalists' defeat, and thus the treaty can return to full function, and our coordination can resume as usual.
I look forward to your reply.

It may be prudent for our organisations to initiate meeting to rectify any concerns we may have. Bretonia will never relinquish their claim on the system, as such we will not engage in any talks with Bretonia at this moment of time.
If you are comfortable, we can set up a diplomatic mission for Coronado, Planet Yuma.
I can arrange for a diplomatic team to be allowed access to Yuma's close orbit for the purposes of discussion. Being above the capital will be of no security risk to any ships in orbit that follow standard convention and Crayter Laws.
The Republic's private government liner, the Aurum, will be in port for the next few days, so perhaps there is where we can meet. Should that be beyond the need, it can still serve as a platform for the Republic's side of this meet.
Whether it be via this channel or in orbit of Yuma, I look forward to continuing this discussion.

I'm afraid that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must rescind your ship's access to Yuma's perimeter, and for our talks to be postponed indefinitely. While I had planned to remind you of such, the Military's internal report of Auxesia's coordinated attack against Crayter forces alongside those of the Royalist Enclave has brought us to the point of unfortunate no return.
As of this transmission, the Treaty of Cortez is considered null and void until such a time that Crayter believes that the agreement signed in good faith can be effectively enforced and respected. Auxesia's unprovoked attacks on Crayter vessels dutifully honoring our agreement have twice now threatened the peace between us, and to leave this second affront unanswered would be a crime to our military personnel as well as our citizens.
Because of this, Auxesian access to Crayter space is hereby revoked for all ship classes including non-combatives. Any ships found within the systems outlined under Article 1 Section 4 of Crayter's Legal Code will be stopped, checked, and then removed from Crayter space. Auxesian non-combat ships, such as transports, liners, or unarmed freighters, found to be transporting passengers will be diverted to the nearest neutral station to offload their passengers, and then promptly escorted from Crayter space. Any that refuse to cooperate will be considered under Article 2 Section 4 of Crayter's Legal Code, and left to official on-site discretion.
Understand that this is not a declaration of war, but Crayter taking precautionary measures in light of Auxesia's numerous violations of our established treaty. How Auxesia responds to this is up to you.
Crayter forces will continue to cooperate with Bretonian lawfuls to remove the Royalist infestation from the Barrier. Interference in any Crayter Military operations, such as those that have occurred already, will result in further diplomatic consequences.
I hope this illustrates Crayter's position clearly.

Is that how Sirians work, going back on their word because they feel like it?
I have conflicting reports on the matter, Miss Ward. My subordinates have reported that your forces came to assist the Bretonians, which in turn meant an offensive on our forces who were engaged with the Bretonians - meaning Crayter would be in violation of the treaty. This appears to be the second incident where Crayter Forces are joining conflict where they are supporting the Bretonian attack against our efforts.
This is unbecoming for the Crayter Republic to abruptly withdraw before we are able to address and resolve the problems. Unless, of course, you are looking for said problems.
The Technocracy's Directorate is still more than happy to negotiate and resolve these grey areas that conflict with both nations diplomacy.
While I understand your concern, there is no foundation behind it. Crayter forces on both counts assisted Bretonian forces against those of the Gallic Royal Enclave, a force that, as stated before, Crayter considers to be a mortal threat to Sirius and the successor to the Kingdom of Gallia's militant forces. On both counts Auxesian forces were seen, either directly or indirectly, cooperating with Enclave forces, thereby nullifying the treaty. In no way does our agreement prohibit Crayter to assist their ally against the Royal Enclave. It does, however, stipulate that Auxesian forces will coordinate with Crayter Military personnel against the Royal Enclave, which they have not. Twice, now.
The ball is in your court, Keeper, but understand that Crayter has witnessed twice now the forces of Auxesia, again either directly or indirectly, supporting those of the Royal Enclave.
The consequences of these violations will remain in place until Crayter believes that they are no longer warranted. My offer of mediating peace between Bretonia and the Auxesian Covenant still stands. I'd suggest you take it before things escalate any further.

The implications of this treaty referred to the Gallic Kingdom's Royal Navy. For the Gallic War. There is no more Gallic War, nor is there the Gallic Kingdom anymore, just exiles of a distant House, who's original "Leaders" are long dead, buried in the ashes of the fallen Kingdom, shadowed by the new Confederency. The treaty also specifies the hostile encroachment into the Independent Worlds, which there is no evidence of them attempting to do such a vain move.
The Technocracy does not see them as a threat in the foreseeable future, nor as an existential threat. The Directorate will discuss and propose a new draft. Until then, Crayter Vessels are not to enter the Inverness sector.
