To the Appropriate Party,
My name is Dr. Ethan Morris, I stand a distinguished member of the Lionel Wainscroft Archaeological Society of Cambridge. We are a notable, longstanding scientific institute with a rich history of discoveries and projects uncovering the mysteries of natural history from across the Sirius Sector. We have of recent time, stumbled across the brief work of one Dr. Alice Ross, who was among the initial survey team sent down to the surface of the barren moon Jericho in the Coronado system to do initial scans during the early days of the Crayter Republics occupation. Her target there was was a mysterious ancient wreckage detected from orbit and marked for further investigation. Though her notes were imprecise and cursory, our group at the LWASC has delved further and wish to begin a full expeditionary-style archaeological mission on Jericho to investigate the remains in depth for posterity. For an undetermined reason, we could not locate Dr. Ross and found no record of her since approximately 821 AS where she was last noted working in the Omicron Edge Worlds and so are unable to work in congruence with her to build upon her findings.

Our Institution wishes to launch a fully, self-funded in depth survey therefore, to Coronado and uncover what we can and do so with the approval and complete authority of the Crayter government. Obviously, any findings will be reported directly to your appointed department for review prior to publication, and any tangible value obtained will be recognized as Crayterian and not for profitable gain.
