There is a big big issue with this in omicrons since the change however
-it was fine before, as every time you logged Nomad there was already 4-5 heavy BS farmers in Delta and many more people parked there. You had to cleanse or got piled, and you lost many many times anyways. The fights lasted a long time because of the sheer amount of lolwut farmers and their HP, all parked on one base with close missions, so you have more nomads time to log, then you raided etc.

The systems are kinda dead now, there's not much incentive for people to permalog, sooner or later nomads will be forced into catering to their customers and give more fair fights, or few will keep logging.

Core is zapped besides a couple of us
Order OF stopped logging caps - check their tracker, there is two in top20 ships
And lolwuts lost the juicy delta incentive to log, sadly...

Only time there was big activity was during a siege that turned to cancer like every siege does.

We gank those who gank us. We spam bcs when people spam them against us. Treat us as you wish to be treated back because a lot of this "K'Hara ganked us waaa" stuff often happens when we try to shoot other people early before the mass of people log to shoot us.

Have you ever thought about writing down, concretely, what is considered "being fair" and "being excellent" in disco (as a GM) or in your faction (as a faction leader), and to what point people are expected to follow it in a voluntary or mandatory way?

Doing so has the potential to reduce the amount of wrong expectations, hypocrisy, and drama revolving around this.

The "we gank now because you ganked before" and "we gank now because you will gank in future" has been going around in circles for 10 years. It's like a disco tradition to be obliged to smear the other side as "gankers" so you wont have to worry about being called a ganker yourself because the other side totally had it coming. It's really stupid but disco can't seem to snap out of it.

I was hoping someone would finally show some leadership and try to create a consensus on it.

On an unrelated note, I just remembered something I meant to ask a while ago:

Who was this and why did he think it necessary to assure me, without me saying anything about it, that he wasnt camping the JH to intercept my transport. Do you have an internal rule against it?

Well, where should I start...
First and foremost, this faction, while it seems cool, it dissappoints a lot in combat/roleplay.
So far, I've only seen K'Hara spam the everloving **** out of those cloaks and BCs. Okay, let's say it's fine because the ships and cloak are good. But, there's a difference to that. K'Hara ganks at every opportunity, not even giving a chance to the enemy to fight.
How do you expect anyone to even want to fight against you, when you buttcloak everyone you meet, with BC spam? (while at the same time justifiying this by "ah, it was X or Y, we're allowed to pile on him")

I have actively played as an indie nomad for the last 3 months and often see players when they just notice the nomad ship, they just write “I see the enemy” “attacking the nomad” (this is about RP, you yourself rarely try to somehow interact with nomad), and often the crowd attacks one, I think K 'Hara and other Nomads is doing the right thing: ganking other players.
You can always gather your group and go crowd against the crowd and not cry on the forum when you are ganked.

very often I see people interacting with a nomad in the same way // without going into a role-playing game. From this it becomes sad at times.

Nomads, especially K'Hara, are genocidal aliens that want to kill humans for stealing their birthright. This is vanilla lore, even if you entirely ignore the lore document we have. I RP at you with the power of INCREDIBLE VIOLENCE.

If you want to fondle a squid, find a vagrant. If you don't want to die to a K'Hara, show some sign of fear instead of your character running their mouth at the earliest opportunity just to get shot by nuclear armed squids.

This is not just a PvP mod, where the main thing is to kill everything and everyone, NO this is a RP mod, here the main interaction of players with different roles is, this is like a continuation / creation of your own plot, where everyone chooses a role to their liking, and plays it.
BUT if they want war, they will get it, I betray to return to 5-10 Irra / Siris and make a big raid on the Sirius sector, sparing nothing who would meet on the way.

Most of us are went back to RL due ti Christmas holidays, I asked everyone to spend time with their families, friends and loved ones, which is more important than disco. Order playerbase is mostly contains adult men and women, so you should understand us, Lemon.

In its turn, I want to ask K'Hara to contact each other and make chaos through the Sirius from time to time, not only in the Omicrons.
