Luxury Liner The Red Velvet Club; February 7th 828AS
Through the roaring shining halls of the liner filled with all sorts of people from everywhere, the clackering noises of two pairs of metallic heels could be heard walking down the hall. Two young ladies that couldn't really believe what they saw in front of their eyes still, the glamourous wide decks of the Red Velvet Club, to spend their 96 hours of luxury together.
"This really is something and i-it's really all inclusive...? I-I?!" Still trying to get her grip Sagume walks along the gallery section holding hands with her Laura, still undecided what to do first, looking around wildly to all the attractions this place where normally the elite would only gather...
"Young mis- ... Sophie, I hope around here I can use this name, as exciting this is maybe we should get to our rooms first, what do you think?" Laura asking her kindly before both get lost in this resortist heavens jungle. As they make their way to their room Sagume looks into the handout of all the attractions the liner offers, her circuits rambled in anxiety if she can give Laura all her best to share a good time. "Hm, hm... discos, diners, the gallery, even a large pool section and a spa, they really got everything... I-I'm not used to this kind of luxury, why did we got this offered for so cheap?" She would drop a sweat if she still could. "Sagi~ relax, let's just have some fun, be lucky and enjoy, honey!"
As they make their way to their room one of the personell already awaits the two. "Ah Miss Sagume and Miss Laura, we already eagerly awaited for you two. Let me show you your room, please follow me. We will also obviousely take care of your luggage." Two men took care of the surprisingly... two smaller suitcases? "Hm, I cna handle that alone, two women with so small luggage... well they're droids too... weird." The two men whispereing in confusion about the two travellers...
"We can hear you..." Both incited...
The men then shrieked and got their hands on the luggage "Apologies, we will get back to work!"
As the waitress shown the two the way along the glamorous red hallways looking like a bretonian palace, both held their hands together looking at all the fancy decorations. "This place surely is something, look at that chandelier, only saw fancy stuff like this in docus about Bretonia... Can't wait to see the dorm Soph, dear." Laura gave her an excited smile and a kiss on the cheek. Sagume meanwhile was just excited to finally have some peace and quiet from all the hard work and nightmares she has seen the last months, some privacy with Laura at last... the person she had to fire through guards of officers first, hacking a system and causing an entire robot uprising to save her.
"Here it is, enjoy your stay you two sweeties, hope everything is to your liking, but we can assure from your faces already that you will like it. If something's the matter there is the phone for service. Please enjoy your cruise trip with the Red Velvet Club!" The waitress gave them a confident smile and shown her around the room. Both couldn't believe what they saw... "Is this really... they said business, sure this isn't...?!" Both gasped almost getting a short circuit. The men both gaving an uneasy smile brought the small luggage and took there leave as fast as they came, their faces embarassed from their little show earlier with the waitress already gaving a sharp scolding look to the men.
"Hm... Rookies, ufufu~ oh look Sophie, what a fancy tea set, shall I brew us some?" Giving her servile look her caretaker self came through again caring for her lil heron.
Both enjoying the romantic looking room one with a small cup of tea, looking out the window while seeing the vast tropical beaches and crystal clear waters of Curacao.
"This gives some nostalgia almost to our times in Rheinland, when you were still young, Soph... You loved your tea times with your mum, hm we carried on the tradition and since then enjoyed on at your uncle's living room, he also had this fascination for old classic fancy deco, huh, besides all the dieselpunk and machinery you would see at his workshop... Remember when he tried to fix hat old warform with the wrong set of parts and then the vent cracked?"
"Yeah, had to clean the entire week his face from all the spilled oil. The whole room smelled terribly for one more month, ufufu~" Sagume laughed remniscing with Laura in the past, when times were easier...
Later that day they ventured through the big galleries, Sagume promised Laura later after the dinner to give her a dance at the stage, so Laura in her excitement rushed to one of the local Boutiques when she saw that dazzling teal green dress... looking like as it would have been specially tailored for her... "Sagi~... dear..." "I know- I know..." gasping at her credit card she knew it will be some expensive day... But it was worth every penny when she came out to show Sophie the dress... The shining teal green fabric matched her perfectly, with silver sparkling glitter and some flowers decorating the whole attire around the waist, it was perfect... Meanwhile Sagume just looked at herself with her long monochrome mantle... will do the trick, as long as Laura is happy.
Both spent hours checking out attractions, while Sagume grasped one or two stories and shared some with strangers about exploring and treasure hunting... both had their little adventure on their own through the never ending shopping halls.
"Don't worry, everyone can dance, my little klutz I will teach ya young lady. Meet me at the dance floor later, but now show me that diner you promised" Laura looked in Sagume's eyes with a playful smirk already eagerly awaiting the neverending night. Sagume meanwhile got an anxiety kick as her circuits flashed as she hopes not to embarass her.
At dusk both walked towards the promised restaurant, where they would meet with Hilda for a romantic dinner. "You can trust her, when I was on her ship she prepped one of the best meals I had in a long time, hope she also brought Alpha, he looks a bit intimidating but surely is fascinating and Hilda is pretty kind lady. Both are very good to talk to, I bet you will enjoy this dinner and like them too. She cooks great rheinlandic cuisine, will definitely blow you back to the good ol' times." Forcing a confident smile at her with trying to remain calm having her emotions under control she held her hand tight walking with Laura towards the dining table, when they were already awaited...
Hilda awaited them already with a Big Smile, she had Chosen one of the Smaller Restaurants on Board with an Open Kitchen so Sagume and Laura could see what she was doing. the Restaurant was Decorated in Red and White giving it a Mediterranean Flair. Alpha had a Towel over one of his Arms he was today more in his Humanoid Form and had 4 of His 6 Arms Stored in his Body. Hilda Seemed Excited and Happy and was Full of Energy. She was Dressed in a Simple Cooking Jacket and Apron, on her Head was a Classic Chefs Hat that also Holds back her Long Blonde Hair. She First Hugged Sagume and then Laura like they were Old Friends.
Oh Mein Gott it's so Nice to Finally Meet you, Laura. I am so happy that Sagume managed to Free you. I am Hilda I will be your Cook Today, and the Big one over there is ALPHA he will be your Waiter. I have Gathered only the Best of Ingredients and so that you get the Finest Food from Home.
While Hilda moved to her Kitchen and Started to Cook, brought Alpha the two of them to their Table it was near the Kitchen but also Private so that Laura and Sagume could Enjoy some Privacy. the napkins were artistically folded so that they looked like little swans and on the Table was a Candle that where Ignited for them as well as some Decorative rose petals. ALPHA was the Perfect Gentlemen and adjusted the chairs and Reached the Cards that showed the menu. where a Human would have a Face he had a Set of Lights that at the Moment Showed a Blue Light, and even when he Acted like a Gentleman it was Obvious that ALPHA was Build for War. his Voice was Metallic but had a pleasant sound.
Hilda said you would Like to see me again Miss Sagume, and as I See your Search was Successful. I am Pleased to Meet you, Unit Laura. his Blue Light Flicker in Binary for a Second and the Message was JoyI have Calculated that your Mission would have a 52% Success Rate, I am Glad that It looks like I have Forgotten your Skill. Hilda said she would Advice a Wheat beer or a Red Wine to this Meal, but she haves also non Alcoholic Drinks if you Prefere that.
While Alpha had been the Perfect Waiter, Hilda was in the Kitchen and Roasted some Onions for the Zwiebelschnitzel with Sahnesosse that the Two had Wished for. she lets her Knife Fly and Cuts the Onion with the Precision and Speed of an Experienced Cook. she didn't even Cryed one Tear as she puts the Onions in a Pan to Roast them Quick before she Makes the Preparations for the Sauce and the side dishes for the meal.
I have Chosen to Make Classic fried potatoes and a Litle Salad to the Schnitzel. and if you have a Special Wish Please Tell them to me or ALPHA and I See if I can arrange it. I want to make this the Perfect Dinner after the Two of you were Separated for so Long.
"Don't get too overexcited, it's just us two old Bots, but it's really nice to meet you again Hilda and you too Alpha, hope you two are doing well." Sagume replied giving a polite answer. Laura stood up to the two greeting them "A pleasure to meet you two! My thanks that you also helped in the search for me and gave young mis- my dear Sagi~ company... she needs to get outta her shell more from time to time..." Said Laura while looking in excitement at the huge Warform. "I could swear we had Warbots like you at the Rohe Workshop back then, that shown up sometimes for maintenance when they passed through Rheinland."
"I think we will go with the Red Wine, else everything looks alright, we will definitely go with the Schnitzel. A nice good old rheinlandic classic, sounds delightful and gives nostalgia..." Sagume replied cheerishful, tired of the synthetic food rations she normally gets at her stay, but it can't be helped during these times.
Laura meanwhile enjoyed Hilda's cooking and watched the meals getting prepped. "She really is good, Sagi~ maybe we should buy some ingredients from here to and cook at home from time to time... that paste stuff really gets on the nerves. What do you think?"
"Indeed, could need a change, but stuff doesn't grow... well not everything grows on trees...I mean money... but yeah we really could cook together more often."
"Remember to not overdo it Sagi~ I still want you in top condition for the dance later" Laura chuckles. "Have you ever danced Miss Hilda? I bet you could share some stories, I'm open for stories from Sagis friends.
Both already bit their lips awaiting the delightful dinner and enjoyed the whole romantic scenery dwelving in lovely chatterings while the sun sets over the horizon of Curacao covering the whole ocean in a glaring red while white sparkles travelled across the trembling waves...
Hilda Was a Master when it came to Cooking, even when she didn't have that Hig Thoughts about herself for Hilda was it an Adventure to Cook, an Art that Gave her new challenges every time to Create the Best Meal that she Could. Hilda was Realy Happy for Saugme and Laura that they had Found Each other Again.
I don't see you just as Bots. when the Life With Alpha and my Own Condition have shown me one thing then that every Life is Unique and Precious in its Form. You two may have Mechanic Bodys but you are as Human as the Rest of us. and I am glad that I know you two, and that I can make you Happy with my Food.
Hilda Smiled as she saw Lauras Interest in her work, she made a Litle More show than usual for her as she Washes and Cuts the Potatoes into Slices and then Puts them into the Pan, Hilda had Decided to leave the Skinn on them as its Eatable too if you Wash the Potatoes good. she smiled as she hears the hiss of the oil and sees the Potatoes becoming nice Golden Brown and Delicious. While Alpha Served them, he had Brought a Bottle of the Good Wine and Opened it, as he heard that there were Others Like him in the Controle of Rheinland the Light in his Face changed to Yellow for some Seconds, before it Returned to Blue.

Alpha had Reached the Wine and Waited Nearby as Hilda began to Pound the Meat and hummed a Melody while she did it. As the Potatoes had the Right Color she put them into the Oven at a Low Temperature to keep them warm. before she made a Litle Salad with Fresh Tomatoes and Jucy Red paprika together with a Balsamico Dressing. as the Salad was Perfect she Gave it to Alpha to serve it as an appetizer.
Yes I can Dance, Alpha and I Danced at our First Meeting. and A Story? hmm let me think a bit. ah, I think I have something. as you know Sagume I Travel a Loot to Learn more about Cooking. My Travels have Brought me all around Sirius and Gallia, and of course, I have to meet Pirates here and there. Now let me tell you about one of my Best encounters. I was on the way to New Tokyo with a Load of Gin as I was almost there I was Intercepted by a Member of the Golden Chrysanthemum, I knew the Pilot from Previous encounters and she was pretty nice for a Pirate. Normally I gave her some Credits and some Drinks as Payment, but on that day I had another Idea. I had Tryed a New Recepy for Black Forest Cherry Cake on the Flight and it was Just Ready as I Arrived. I have Offered her a Piece as Payment for my Safe Passage and she Accepted. I Swear I could see her Smile Realy Bright over the Comm as she ate the Cake.
"Oh, hm... it didn't look these warforms would be in danger, just passing through, but I guess safety goes first, always good to care about family." Laura replied thinking deeper of that day back. Then she looked at Sagi taking a fork "Remember to eat your greens Sagi~ no buts~" In a swift she took a bit of a salad while giving Sagume a caring smile. Sagume was surprised and a bit embarassed but got already used to Laura's sudden "caretaker" actions.
"H-hey not in front of the two.. mmpf... mmpf.. oh that dressing is so good!" Sagume munched on the salad enjoying how the vegetables went with the dressing how light it was but also crunchy and creamy...
"No talking with a full mouth young lady!" Laura keeps on startling her repeatingly feeding her."

Both laughed and went on enjoying the appetizer, as they enjoyed that one already they couldn't wait for the main dish.
"Also must be an outstanding ability to pacify pirates with cooking" Laura chuckles. "I bet I could learn much from your cooking, I remember back in the old days cooking together with Sagi but it we cooked more simple stuff... though I remember we also had fun once with making a big black forest cherry cake... that was surely a messy day, haha. Remember how the bowl fell on you or the blender suddenly snapped out of random covering the whole kitchen in dough... atleast the cake was delicious... and we survived!" She went on telling some old stories while enjoying the salad. The room was filled in a joyful mood as all went on remniscing and enjoying themselfes...
Hilda Smiled and Couldn't hold back a Chuckle as she saw how loving and teasing the two treated each other. Hilda was really Happy for them and Prepared the Sauce. she put some Whipped Cream and Milk in a Cooking Pot together with some Spices and Onions. while the Sauce Cooked and got the right
consistency she Puts the Finishing Touches on the Schnitzels.
my you Two are so Cute together, it's a Shame that you were Separated for so Long. but I am so happy that you are Together again. and I am Verry happy that you Like my Food, it always makes me Realy Happy when People enjoy my food.
Hilda Finished the Schnitzel and takes a Taste from the Sauce that was not just Right, the Taste was Perfect and She Smiled Bright and Gentle as she Puts Everything Together on a Plate. she Just Finished at the Perfect Time when Sagume and Laura Finished the Salad and Hands the Plates over to ALPHA.
You know Most Pirates are in their Ships for Days or sometimes Weeks. I don't want to Defend what they do but you know if they are Nice to me it's a Good non Violent and not that much Expensive Option out of a Bad Situation. and I also have some Test Eaters as I Mostly Try out New Recipes while I am on a Cargo Tour.
Hilda Smiled as Alpha Served the Zwiebelschnitzel with Sahnesoße (Onion Schnitzel with Cream sauce) Hilda Prepared the Dessert. she had Decided to make a good old Fashioned Griesbrei mit Heisen Himbeeren (Semolina with hot raspberries). it wasn't that Complicated and Tastes Really good. it was a Popular Dessert in Rheinland and whit the Hot and Sweet Raspberries it had just the Right Taste, Hilda Loved this Dessert as a Child and she Hopes Sagume had too and that it may be Wakes up some Happy in Sagume. and enjoyed the Old Storys of Laura and Sagume about their Life together.
You know if you want to I Give Cooking Classes on Manhattan once a month. you are More than Welcome to Join, its Ran by Orbitals Charity Organisation to Teach People about Healthy Food. It is made in the Community Center and is Mostly Visited by an Open and Friendly group of People. and there are also a Number of Foods you can Cook in a Spaceship without haveing to Eat that Synth Food Crap.
As both took there first bites into the main course it felt like in a blitz they were brought both back to Rheinland, when Sagume was still in her teens. A flashing scene of memory unfolds, when happier times where still being, innocent, peaceful, no daily dangers, no grief, only those two enjoying themselfes. An oily tear fell down Laura's right robotic eye.
"It really tastes like home... all these memories... been separated for so long from this all. All that I almost lost... thank you, this tastes... just wonderful... no words in my syntax can describe this right now."
Sagume steps up, takes a handkerchief and cleans her face "Hm, hm don't spill the sauce Laura." Smiling at her giving her a comforting headpat. "You thought the same too?"
All these years, although on a larger scale being a wimp in the history of the universe felt like an eternity for these two. As they enjoyed the main dish more flashbacks of their memories came up and they talked about that. Adventures from the workplace, all the machines they met and hanged out with, all the fun accidents, everything came together. A scene where Sagume pulls out an arm and gets splashed by a blast of resin, while Laura tries to save her pushing away while both landed in a pile of spare parts, funny and unfunny memories.
After times like that both realized the importance of what family means... families are built on trust, between two people liking each other, not only on birth, but how reality ties people together and the people making the best of the neverending struggles. Realizing how important they want to uphold it and realizing, that they really need each other.
Warm electronic vibes flashed through their circuits imitating warmed hearts of both while more oily tears dropped from both eyes. To enjoy the simple things or having a good time, to have fun, to escape the cold harsh reality they faced so long... a moment just for them. And all the adventures that would come... speaking of which...
"Hey Alpha, is the offering of visiting Gammu still a thing, might could bring a guest too? Remember when we talked about that?" Sagume asked him curiousely coming back to that topic.
Hilda almost Cried herself as she saw what a Reaction her Food had on the Two Woman. Hilda always tried to give her Guests a Perfect meal but never before she had brought her Guests to Tears with her Cooking. for Hilda It was the first time that her guests were so touched by her meal, and she felt like this was why she wanted to be a Cook to make the People happy and Bring then something good to Remember.
You Two are the Frist that Cried from my Food, I have never expected it to be that good. but I am happy that you like it, the Recipe is an Old Family Secret and I wasn't sure if I would be able to make it Perfect. I haven't Cooked this Dish for quite some time now.
ALPHA had also watched over them and reached some handkerchiefs to Laura and Sagume, the Gammu was a Silent but Careful Waiter and Fulfilled every wish of Hildas Guests. but he also Followed the Talks of the Two woman so he also noticed her Question about Gammu
Gammu can be Dangerous to Outsiders, we tend to stay on our own. You would be welcome but you shouldn't exept a warm welcome. the Gammu were too often Hurt by the Humans. you should also be Prepared for the High Radiation on the Planet. a Normal Human can not survive for very long there.
while Alpha talked with them Hilda Prepared the Griesbrei mit Heisen Himbeeren (Semolina with hot raspberries) she was happy that Laura and Sagume had liked their dinner so far. and now she wanted to make them a Perfect Finishing. the Semolina was in a Pot and almost Ready and the raspberries smelled already Perfect. as she was happy with the result, Hilda filled everything in two Bowls and moved over to her Guests to Serve it.
If you really want it we can Arrange a Visit, my ship is known by the Gammu and they Treat me well. but I am not sure if you find whatever you search on the Planet, and you should know that Gammu aren't normally as Open and Friendly as Alpha, I Fear that is Mostly my Influence on him. rather, they will be vigilant and cautious of you till they know who you are and what you really want of them. it can also be that they won't let you go till they are sure that you aren't a threat to them. but if you want I will help you to make your First Contact with them a bit Easier.

"H-hey we would only come by, because we are fascinated to see new worlds and different civilizations, don't worry. Ah, also here it is!" Pulling out the card she was given looking at ceertain codes and runes which appear to be letters written in Gammu language.
"I can assure you we wish no harm and can keep everything a secret from other humans, well might be good to take some Anti-radiation add-on plating, but I guess we don't need life support measurements for humans." She chuckles wanting to calm down the mood.
Laura meanwhile sensed the delightful smell of the hot raspberries in the distance, her sensors gave some interesting beeping noise indicating joy "Mmh Sagi~ seems the final course will be also something aldente~"
Hilda puts the Dessert on the Table and makes the Last Finishing Touches with a Smile. it looks like the Evening was a Total Success. for Hilda there was nothing better than to have Happy Guests, from the Simple worker to a High-Class CEO, all that was Important for Hilda was that her Guests were happy with the Food she Cooked.
ok here we have your Dessert Griesbrei mit Heisen Himbeeren (Semolina with hot raspberries), i realy hope you like it. it's Nothing Special but it's a Classic of the Rheinland Cuisine and one of my Childhood Favorites for Desserts, so i hope you will Like it too.
ALPHA had Noticed Lauras Interested Staring and sends her a Flicker In Binary Language with the Light in his Face that translates to a Smile. he knew that these two women were no Threat to Hilda or the Gammu, he was Bound to Hilda and how Mission was to Protect her but he also was a Gammu and he had already Informed the Homeworld about Laura and Sagume and that they are no Threat.
this Card Shows that you have an Open Mind Towards Gammu and that you maybe can become Friends with us. I don't give them to Anyone. I think you Humans would Call it a Business Card, but it's also a Sign for other Gammu that I see you as Potential Friends.
after Hilda had Served the Final Dish she and Alpha left them Alone to Enjoy the Rest of their Romantic Dinner. Hilda had a Lot of Fun Cooking for Sagume and Laura and she Smiled as she Saw how much in love with each other the two were. Hilda had a Good Feeling that they would become good friends with each other and she was already excited to cook again for them.
