Ministry of Defense
Minister: Trevor Westbrook

The Ministry of Defense commands, literally, the protective barrier between Crayter and the universe at large. Encompassing the entirety of the Crayter Military, the Crayter Police, and making up one of the judicial heads of the CIS, the Ministry of Defense governs primarily the logistical and authoritative side of all Crayterian military operations. From drafting supply charts and organizing military deployments to dispensing service pay to active duty officers and enlisted, Defense often occupies the top of the parliament's orders of the day, and remains, even in times of relative peace, the primary Ministry of focus for elected officials.

Ministry of Trade
Minister: Sebastian Riordan

The Ministry of Trade as it is today is relatively young. First established as the Ministry of Logistics, an act of parliament eventually separated the joint duties of Logistics, making military supply the duty of the Ministry of Defense. To spearhead the civil aspect of commerce, the Ministry of Trade was created from the ashes of Logistics to more formally organize and direct the development of Crayter's growing shipping industries. While officially separate from the Ministry of Defense's logistical divisions, Trade still works closely with the Military to ensure smooth workflow.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Minister: Lily Ward

Established to oversee the diplomatic arm of the Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organizes and maintains all aspects of foreign relations. While inter-federal diplomacy does occur, Foreign Affairs primarily deals with foreign governments, corporations, or other independent entities to ensure coexistence. During stressful times, Foreign Affairs is also tasked with delivering declarations of war as well as coordinating peace summits, and may even act as a mediator for separate parties.

Ministry of Domestic Affairs
Minister: Oliver Snow

The Ministry of Domestic Affairs oversees all general civilian operations within Crayter space. This can include dealing with foreign corporations utilizing Crayter infrastructure or establishing Crayterian civil development programs, though most business beyond Crayter-owned and operated facilities is usually diverted to the attention of the Ministry of Trade or Foreign Affairs. The development and colonization of Planet Borneo is a prime example of the duties Domestic Affairs is tasked with overseeing.

Ministry of Science
Minister: Melanie Kudlow

Though Crayterian technology was considered second-to-none upon arrival in Sirius, this has since been proven false, and the establishment of a branch assigned with regaining that edge was paramount to Crayterian success within the Taus and Independent Worlds. The aptly named Ministry of Science oversees, coordinates, and plans the growing technological needs of the Republic. Though a ministry in its own right, Science often coordinates with the other branches of the Crayter government to ensure smooth workflow and developmental inspiration.

Ministry of Agriculture
Minister: Karisa Hubbard

Originally, the Ministry of Agriculture was a small branch of the planetary government on Yuma organized to coordinate and develop the floating sea farms that fed so many Crayterians fleeing Tau-44. Over time, however, developments in sea farming, as well as modifications to Synth Foods biodomes to utilize Yuma-based microbes, fueled the need for a branch focused on the development of eco-centric and efficient infrastructure to help Crayter move forward. Agriculture is primarily tasked with overseeing food production and development on Yuma, as well as assisting with the colonization of Planet Borneo to ensure the planet's continued viability.
