I am marquess Shimamori, a clan leader from Honshu. Before you discard this message as something of no importance, please allow me to interest you with a business proposal. If you wonder how I got your contacts - a corsair transport in Sigma 19 was courteous to share them with me. My proposal is simple: to end the hostilities between the corsairs and the House of Kusari.
Now that I, hopefully, got your interest, let us look at this in details. As you must be aware, the corsairs are not considered outright hostile by Kusari yet are still unwelcome and sporadic skirmishes occur. The main source of your income, the artefacts, are legally traded in Kusari unlike in other Houses save for distant Gallia. The way I see, there is no need for hostilities between our people and peace beneficial for us both can be reached.
To simplify your trade of artefacts with the Hogosha the corsairs can be legalised, that is no longer persecuted by the law enforcement of Kusari unless violating the laws of Kusari within Kusari. Naturally, this would work if the Hogosha are preserved as the middlemen in the business of artefact trade. You would also get an open access to a wide variety of Kusarian goods, including food, without necessity of violence. In return, I would ask to cease hostile actions against the entities of Kusari, including our corporations. Ceasefire with the GMG would be most welcome, yet the GMG as an autonomous entity must conclude it by themselves.
A side benefit to this agreement, aside from legal access to the market and possibility of increased amount of trade, would be further weakening of the Outcasts and their puppets within Kusari, as well as in Sigmas and elsewhere. Perhaps, we can even weaken their cardamine market by expanding artefact trade and cracking down their convoys with combined forces.
I need to make a sidenote, however, that in no capacity do I represent the official stance of the government of Kusari. However, should you be interested I will lobby our agreement to the government. I cannot honestly promise reaching a conclusion here, but I feel we must explore the possibilities of lasting peace and there would be people interested in listening to such a possibility.
You look more pissed off even than me! I'm sure Outcasts spoiled your evening. I feel el same almost every day.
Of course, I like most of your suggestions. Artifacts being legally exchanged for nice food and rice sounds good in my ears.
But, about some things you let your imagination take you very far. Let me clarify:
1. Your secondary fleet devastated our transports several times, namely at least one whole convoy with Taurus| signature. Many transports were lost and at least 12k crates of Relics. To continue this negotiations, we kindly ask compensation in fish and rice.
2. Ceasefire with the GMG would be... most... well, forget about it.*spits* I can't even mention GMG without spitting *spits again*. Luckily for this agreement, they just sleep on their stinky gas in deep Sigmas. Even them will not make our negotiations go wasted. *thinks* Wasted, hehehe...
3. With real companies from Kusari we have neutral or even better relations already. Only Kishiro we like to pickpocket, but we can do it far from your jurisdiction. We are nice business people with deep understanding of politics, so we can do it to sweet our negotiations, senor Masahito-San.
4. Outcasts? *spits* They have minions now? *spits* How loco... Just point us towards some Outcast and you will see what happens. *spits*
I guess we have mucho more than one point to agree about. Tell it to your bosses. Your government, si? I will wait for their reply, I'm a very patient persona. But not too long!
I must hang up now, I'm very thirsty for some reason.
*he ended this call by strong move of his hairy macho hand. Off button died. Ladron's dog that sniffed Ladron's spit on the flor died next day.*

I am glad that the discussion of peace is at the table. Now, to the pressing matters.
1. As to the intercepted convoys. This "Taurus" group proved to be especially hostile to Kusari. Here you can familiarise with their replies to our suggestions of handling things peacefully and what they think of artefact business with Kusari.

[26.04.828 15:55:16] Taurus|CNS-Santa.Muerte: Avram: Are our artefacts legal in Kusari?
[26.04.828 15:55:47] SC-Zuiryu: Shimamori: when they are delivered by the Hogosha - rarely anyone interferes
[26.04.828 15:56:05] SC-Zuiryu: Shimamori: even right now the stance of the officials is in favour of your people
[26.04.828 15:56:08] Taurus|CNS-Santa.Muerte: Avram: Rarely is a vague word.
[26.04.828 15:56:21] SC-Zuiryu: Shimamori: so are the words of the corsairs in general

[26.04.828 15:57:22] SC-Zuiryu: Shimamori: there are no legal issues and/or consequences
[26.04.828 15:57:43] SC-Zuiryu: Shimamori: obviously, this does not pertains to corsair ships openly showing up with the artefacts in Kusari
[26.04.828 15:58:05] SC-Zuiryu: Shimamori: so as long as you deal with the Hogosha and do not interfere with our domestic politics - you are good
[26.04.828 15:58:49] Taurus|CNS-Santa.Muerte: Avram: Amigos, do we believe these Kusarians?
[26.04.828 15:59:13] CNS-BC.Triunfante: Of course no. they shiver in their ships
[26.04.828 15:59:48] CNS-BC.Triunfante: We mighty Corsairs, shall cut their rusted ships into useful scrap for our ship
[26.04.828 15:59:49] SC-Zuiryu: Shimamori: seems like the rumours about your people being unreasonable are true
[26.04.828 16:00:01] Taurus|CNS-Santa.Muerte: Avram: I think they are lying cabrons, the same as all other Houses.

[26.04.828 16:00:31] SC-Zuiryu: Shimamori: also, this footage will get to the higher-ups. I think your business with the Hogosha might take a hit
[26.04.828 16:00:35] CNS-BC.Triunfante: On your mark amigo.
[26.04.828 16:01:25] SC-Zuiryu: Shimamori: in your place I would re-consider your position, Cretan. It's your business and your money in Kusari
[26.04.828 16:01:44] SC-Zuiryu: Shimamori: your rushness can cost you positions on the market
[26.04.828 16:01:57] Taurus|CNS-Santa.Muerte: Avram: I've never had any deals with Kusari.

2. While we would certainly welcome you stopping the feud with the GMG, they are beyond the scope of this talks. As such, I cannot blame you for choosing a hostile stance against the GMG, although it saddens me that you do not consider having a talk with them.
3. Your favourable treatment of our corporations and citizens is what allows for this negotiations to be held in the first plance, and I am grateful for it. Still, I would suggest minimise the aggression against even Kishiro to strengthen our relations. I do realise that the Hogosha have ambiguous stance towards Kishiro to say it mildly, but in this case let them handle it. Eventually, absolute elimination of sporadic attacks is not feasible, so your assurances would suffice.
4. The coordinated stance against the outcasts and their proxies is of great importance. While it is not possible to arrange deeper coordination against the Maltese as of now, I do believe it can be in the future.
Given the evidence regarding the Taurus and their hostile stance towards Kusari, I would not consider reimbursing your losses for their artefacts due to reciprocal losses suffered at teir hand. This said, I would like to suggest a gentlemen's agreement for now. If you overall agree with everything we have have discussed so far, I will elevate the matter to the government and attempt to lobby a favourable agreement.
