Hehe! Speak of the devil... glad I got rid of those tags mate!
Spooky associations indeed.
"Sex, Death and Flyfishing" you say, will try to find a copy of it.
Hope I don't need to search the wrecks in the Siniestre for it.
Not a place you'd like to stay too long in and sitting in one place.
Mercs, welcome back!
The place is warm and cozy as it should be.
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
Bernard old man, think we just got threatened by the Phantoms there. When I suggested
the dump was up and running that was not what I had in mind. Lucky most of us don't
do Rheinland very often. Though I understand Browning is celebrating a couple of things.
Finally got to join the Outcasts full time and a new job down there around the murky
depths of New Berlin. Not sure about the second bit now. Sure hes fine.
Ace comment indeed concerning those tags, well shot of it. Book shop your best bet.

I wouldn't be concerned too much as long as you stick to known military
patrol routes and tradelanes.. if you stray.. that would be another thing.
I've read the reports from the Ravager. It seems the phantoms were afraid
of the NPCs?

Bernard old man, I have it on good authority from a very dodgy aquaintance of mine,
those Phantom characters are not afraid of too much these days. Though sound advice
concerning our traders. Probably have to go back to bread and butter runs for a while
then. Did the Rheinland Military ever thank us for those scanners we sent them ?

Rheinland Military? Thank? Remember "Military Intelligence"? Same answer!
As for the advice, not mine, I heard it from the police while eavesdropping on system
comms.. just passing it on. Though, my traders don't do the usual routes.. hell, nothing
of mine doesn't take the usual route.
Anyway, the AWs were all night in New Berlin doing - nothing. They must have bored
themselves to death. I joined them for a little fun of mapping the jumps. Really long
time since I was there and with the new ship you don't get the old database.. bummer!
Bernard.

Ah ... Intelligence, damn long sentence there. Still, can't complain though, lacking
somewhere as usual. The AW spent all night there, thats dedication for you. Still I
hear they are being payed to do nothing.
Nice of the police to be so open with their comms as always, good to miss the old
spot checks when running a bit of the odd dodgy stuff. Or just a speed trap.
Then again nothing with us is usual ... Trade routes or databases.

Not actually, they got some pirates and the smugglers seem to have
disaoppeared, or at least diminished numbers.
They have a few good dedicated people there.
Not bad a bad time for a vacation, casual chatting, coffee and donuts on the
decks... people get to know each other.
Intelligence is another thing, some brilliant minds there, never underestimate
them.

Bernard old chum, Never underestimated the overall intelligence there. Seems to be
sorted now anyway. Always in need of a holiday, me ... Smuggling has never been a
good move in the inner circles, to many good guys around. Never know whos watching.
And the pirate activity has been well down again. Never enough bad guys to make life
interesting. Oh well ... Nose to the grindstone once more.

Hood, my friend, just got rid of another load that was pulling me back. Outgrown some
underwear. Never was a good teacher though.. need to think well before another try at
teaching someone something.
Ever heard of 'comitatus' - described by the Roman historian Tacitus it is the bond
existing between a germanic warrior and his Lord, ensuring that neither leaves the field
of battle before the other. The translation would be "Moreover, to survive the leader
and retreat from the battlefield is a lifelong disgrace and infamy".
Seems that I may need to go that way.. possibly with multiple short allegiances. I
would like to start with offering my services to the IND. The ships will be tagged as
'Comes-Nightfall' and 'Comes-B.Fokke' as bodyguards and companions to the
members.
I think I'll be offering the same services to the Angels soon.
Bernard
