Captain Sommerville,
I believe you are the one in charge of the Bretonian Fleet assaulting Gallic assets in Brittany, known to you as Orkney, at the moment, hence my communication is directed to you. However, if you are not the one in charge of these forces, please redirect it to a respectable person, thanks in advance.
I am Commandant Jonathan Truchon, the one in charge of Gallic Defense Authority forces within the system of Brittany and I am reaching you to propose temporary ceasefire, considering the situation that develops in Aquitaine at the moment. Oh, right... you call it Edinburgh, don't you? Anyway, Planet Borde... well, Gaia is in danger, and it has certain value for Gallia as a symbol of the Gallic endurance despite the odds.
Command and I agrees that at the moment its very important to prevent planet from turning quarantine zone because of Gaians' mad plans, whatever they plot: hence, aside of ceasefire we also propose assistance of our forces against the Gaians in the system of Aquitaine: no capital assets shall be dispatched, but small craft up to a gunboat can provide you assistance in fighting the Gaians, should you agree for our proposal.

Good evening,
Harold Sommerville speaking. Please excuse the delay in presenting an answer, as we were preoccupied with the redeployment to Edinburgh, as I am sure you are aware of by now. Concerning the base, Armed Forces units belonging to Bretonia have only begun the assault due to the fact that Fort de Bregancon is, in fact, a Royalist installation. Naturally, to prevent giving the fugitives any chance to set up a permanent base of operation, we have struck swiftly to disable it. I hope that this matter will be understood on New Paris, as Bretonia does not seek to wage a war with the new Gaul nation.
Yet now I shall get to the offer you proposed. The Admiralty Board has discussed it and agreed to offer this as a chance for redemption and to show Sirius that conflict between our Houses shall never again happen. While this is certainly good news, I will ask that we are informed of any significant unit movements to prevent any incidents.
If there are other terms you would like to present, send them over this channel. That is all.

Captain Sommerville,
Do you have any evidence that Fort de Bregancon personnel are part of or sympathetic to the Royalist movement? If you have such evidence, send it to me and we will investigate, but until proven, your actions at Brittany are considered an attack on Gallic Union property.
Until these allegations are confirmed or denied, further negotiations are considered frozen.
