Fellow citizens of the Imperio del Corsario,

I come to you in the wake of recent events to issue a call to unity. Our lives are hard, our struggles are heavy. Yet, since Deterrence has emerged by my hand, we've improved our station ten-fold. With our Xeno Relics trade prosperous and our smuggling operations reaching its zenith, we've seen our economy and finances improve substantially. Our proud Corsair fleet has been augmented. Many of our capital class ships have seen retrofits, with more being constructed at this very moment. We've seen a surge of new pilots flocking to the banner of DTR to fight for our Imperio. And while our new recruits have still to prove themselves in glorious battle, our numbers can give pause to many of our enemies. Our partnerships continue to blossom - from the Hogosha, the Order, and the Unioners, to the numerous Zoners seeking refuge and freedom outside of House tyranny. With Deterrence building new stations, our infrastructure and capacity for self-sufficiency grows stronger every day.

In good fate, I share the communication between us and our Zoner suppliers, who were aiming to bring about resources for our Empire.

But with change, inevitably comes resistance. With a heavy heart, I must inform all hermanos y hermanas that not everyone seems to be happy with the progress of the Imperio del Corsair. The Brotherhood, a warrior-sect that we used to respect, seems to have been gripped by greed and self-interest. The so called ''shield and sword'' of the Imperio is now nothing more than what appears to be a small group of simple ruffians interested only in their own benefit. With Pepe Ladron's disappearance, a man whom I've come to respect dearly, the Brotherhood seems to have forgotten any sense of duty or honor. Indeed, they now seem content to turn away Zoners willing to share precious resources with our Imperio, commissioned at my behest. More importantly, they are willing to shed fellow Corsair blood and destroy infrastructure that will benefit us all. I am attaching the data for all to see.

I publicly denounce the Brotherhood's shortsightedness and greed, as they now seem focused on petty strifes and pointless vendettas that weaken us as a nation.

Let no one deny the perils of our time. With Outcast and Core incursions in our space, we have no one else to trust and rely upon other than each other. And let us not forget the alien threat that we face in the dark fringes of the known Void. The tide of near-unsurmountable odds is upon us, and we must seek unity, lest we be swept away by our foes. With our enemies moving boldly, who will you turn to for deliverance?

To all enemies of the Corsairs, beware. Under our watchful eyes, we shall prevail, no matter the cost. It's time for a change in the Imperio - political and societal. Rally and let tribalism die so that we can focus our attention to the real threat which comes from outside. To every independent Capitan, every war chief, every king and ruler of Crete's children, I urge you to reach out to me. So that we can together bring about a new dawn for our people.

Hola,

First of all, let me introduce myself. I am Valeria Aguinis, of House Aguinis. Who I am beyond that is of no importance. What is important is that you aparantly see cause to put yourself forward as a person of some importance. Well I never heard of you. I do not care about you. And I certainly am not going to recognise you as having any kind of authority over me.

I am yet to see how you have made any difference to my life. I come from the deserts of Crete, born to a nomadic tribe. I learned how take care of myself, like many of true born Corsairs do. This Deterrence you speak of. Zoners. Hogosha. Order. Unioners? Pah. Pathetic. There is only Corsairs. We can take care of ourself. You sound like Zoners yourself. True Corsairs need only Corsairs.

And now you dare to attack the Brotherhood in all but deed? I have flown with them. Fought with them. They know what Corsairs are and what Corsairs need. If there is any real disunity within the Corsairs it is the weak rabble like Deterrance who try to fill their own weakness with outsiders.

I pledge my sword to the Brotherhood and if this Deterrance harms any of Cretan blood, I urge all true born Corsairs to exterminate this filth.

Let me introduce myself. I am decurion Nina Rodriguez. Attention! I am not related to Alberto Rodriguez! I am also known as ''La Reina'' among the Brotherhood. Why? Because I easily get what I want! *chuckles*

As said our hermana Valeria Aguinis, of House Aguinis, I must admit but she is right!

Si, we have our allies to beat some asses within houses or just to make the empire economy running. I am a corsair from birth and will die as a corsair. As long as the zoners can makes the empire rich, I have nothing against them. But if they don't, they can go f*ck themselves with their peace way!

A real corsair is someone who is not afraid to be eager or greed! We are corsairs after all. If you show weakness, you are just a victim. Like those who failed their trial within the Malvada Cloud because they showed weaknesses.

Ravenna Nagash, I only know that you lead the Deterrance and you have a big fleet. Even bigger than the Brotherhood's. But you are not an elder. In other words, you are not at the head of the empire of corsairs. You also say that the Brotherhood have ''forgot'' what is the sense of duty and honor? I return the question. At least, we are not afraid to face death compared to some of your gringos who hides behind meters of plates.

If I need to choose between two paths, I will choose the Brotherhood's one.

I woke up this morning and see this on the neural and think to myself that you must be either a zoner or an outcasts agent or worst. I won't tell you how dissapointed i am from you Nagash. You obviously have zero clue about how the empire work or how business is being done.

Have you ever heard of OPG, Blacksails, Benitez Familia, CC, CSF, ECG, Custodi and many more? Maybe you have but all these groups have something in common: The Brotherhood outlived them all.

Why the Brotherhood is an will still be the major relevant force with the empire tomorrow? It's quite simple. The population of the empire respect them for what they have done and still doing today. Unlike false Cretans like you, they don't revolve around the ego of a leader. They won't go to fight screaming RAVENNA VULT like a bunch of brainwashed cultist.

Like all the real corsairs, they live by 3 words: Honor, dignity and pride. Sadly, today you show none of those 3 words.

Are the brotherhood innocent in this story? No! They do have a fair share of responsability in this mess. The previous groups i mentionned earlier had some issues with them too but unlike you, they did cared about our traditions and never tried, by misplaced ego, to call toarms agains the guardians of the empire. They shared a deep mutual respect that you haven't earned yet

You obviously put your own ego and goals before the empire so it's the reason, as independant, i ask my fellow corsairs, to simply ignore the whole story. BUT if DTR ever try to subdue the empire and think that all Cretans are stupid, shall santa muerte by my witness, i shall side with the brotherhood as all real corsairs should do.
