Konbanwa sisters,

the patrol of 29. 6. was very eventful, therefore I decided to make a summary of what happened. In the beginning I merely occupied the New Tokyo's jump gate to Shikoku and succesfully caught a passing train, callsigned Rex_Halington, full of Sake. Two million credits and a few bottles were retrieved.

Next came a rendezvous with Triad-4 and Kamishiro Rize in Kyushu, but on the way, I sighted yet another train, this time near the Kyushu jump gate. It was empty, yet I still managed to get some money form the captain. He was very cooperative.

In the Kyushu system near the Shikoku jump hole I met up with Triad-4, who caught a smuggler.

After rendezvous with fellow sisters, our patrol began and not long after did we find two bounty hunter ships. A bomber and a gunboat. Kamishiro took care of the bomber while Triad-4 and I focused our fire on the gunboat. It was not an easy job as we lacked heavy firepower, but we managed.

Lastly, a disaster struck when we encountered a KSP officer, callsigned Arata.Inaba. Although we had number advantage on our side, we were outmatched. The officer was extremely skilled and managed to take us all down, one by one. I suggest we handle him with extra caution next time. Individual dogfights with him are ill-advised.

Konnichiwa sisters,

As all of you know, yesterday was a most momentous day indeed, however I thought it appropriate to write a full report nonetheless. I departed my Tachi from Noshima Freeport at approximately 20:36 Universal Standard Time, and made good progress towards Morioka whereupon I rendezvoused with the great destroyer Akechi-kan. Over the course of the next few minutes, a great many sisters, most notably the repair ship Gishi and Murasaki-san.

Our host thereafter proceeded to the Galileo system, passing through the great dark matter clouds of the system until we reached Sector 3C. It was there that our drone detected a large signature hiding just within the borders of the cloud, enough to foil any long range scans. This turned out to be the great warship Amenhotep, an Osiris-class of Order origin, however according to the captain the Order would seemingly wish for this ship back at great cost. Initial encounters seemed non-hostile, and indeed as the proverbial ice was broken, the captain seemed most amenable to us. Having suffered great damage, the Amenhotep proceeded to accept repairs from the repair ship Gishi in short order.

Several unexpected encounters occurred. The first seemed to be a sentient AI vessel that began to approach our assembled force. Myself as well as Matsumoto-san and Raimei, on the orders of Akechi-kan to destroy if necessary, drove the drone away to a safe distance. The drone, however, was followed by a Rheinland freelancer by the name of Ego, known to be a somewhat skilled pilot. Ego held their distance however, and there was no further need for conflict. It was at this point however, that a Nomad yōkai appeared, seemingly somewhere in size between a fighter and a gunboat. It seemed to be discharging tracking spores at a prodigious rate that seemed to function like Sirian missiles, as a result I had my countermeasure firing almost constantly during its lifetime. In addition, this morph moved as fast as one would expect from a light fighter, not something that was at least twice the size of my own Tachi. Nonetheless, the yōkai was dispatched in short order, however more would shortly appear from the Reppu cloud, which seemed to be flashing somewhat uncharacteristically. I am no scientist, but I can't help but wonder if there is some kind of connection to the dark matter of Galileo and the Nomads.

Nonetheless, three further of these medium-sized morphs appeared, equally quickly dispatched under the weight of our fighters, bombers and the great firepower of our two destroyers. Notably, the Amenhotep's gun crews equally distinguished themselves with some excellent shooting; it is clear they have had practice over the years. Myself, Matsumoto-san, and the freelancer Ego went to investigate the Reppu cloud further. Myself and Matsumoto-san, not wishing to risk our ships too much, hovered just outside of the cloud, however the freelancer plunged in to its heart, returning shortly thereafter with reports of a much larger morph lingering within. We retreated back in to the safety of our capital ship's guns as the repairs on Amenhotep seemed to be nearing completion. The larger morph appeared to be of a cruiser size, however did not move like one. Much like the previous morphs, it moved uncharacteristically fast for its size. It also had a shield which seemed to dissipate incredibly fast, however reappeared after just a few short seconds, making it hard to land any large, single blows. Equally, it seemed to carry incredibly hard to track, incredibly high velocity anti-fighter weaponry. Within seconds, it dealt heavy damage to my own Tachi as well as two further GC fighters before we quickly retreated. The cruiser fell to the guns of our capital vessels, but I now know to exercise further caution against such yōkai in the future.

Repairs on the Amenhotep finished shortly after this encounter, and we began to escort the great battleship in to the Shikoku system, leading it to the Noshima freeport, where her crew could rest and Amenhotep herself could at least resupply. I flew ahead of the main force just behind the drone, ensuring that Kusari government forces were unaware of our presence. We reached the Peddler's Freeport without incident, and I docked my own Tachi after bidding the Amenhotep welcome to Kusari. It is my understanding that our force was later harassed by fighters, and I very much regret not staying on patrol for longer.

Nonetheless, the operation seemed to be a success, and Amenhotep is now safely in Kusari with communications established.

Sisters,

I managed to stumble across the Takeda-class destroyer IKN-Kiyohime commanded by Captain Matsuda Ichika on the tradelane between Planet New Tokyo and the Shikoku Jumpgate just earlier today. I quickly found out that the destroyer had a malfunction with it's engines and was unable to move, in addition to that it's weaponry was unable to be used due to the engine not being able to handle the load.

Normally, I would be shooting the destroyer down.

This time, however, I chose not to. Captain Matsuda gave off a weird and mysterious aura about her that I wish to find out more about, and besides the Kiyohime is one of the very few Takeda-class destroyers in Kusari that can challenge me and end the fight victorious; not engaging the ship when it cannot fight back is a disrespectful action that I will not take against such a ship or individual.

I merely wished to inform the sisterhood of this specific destroyer's existence and of my peaked interest towards it and it's captain. I am in no position to tell you to stay away from the destroyer and neither will I tell you to not engage it, but if you can avoid hostilities with it, please do so. If necessary, give me a ring to swing by if the destroyer shows up and I will deal with it myself.

I will be providing updates of any beneficial intelligence I might acquire regarding Captain Matsuda.

Yesterday I was flying with Misaki-san when we happened on a barge from OS&C

Misaki-san knew her well, I was astounded that someone we would be pirating would be so . . . friendly. There was no fighting to speak of. I actually had fun making a new friend outside of the Sisterhood. I think Chairwoman Cait may have liked me, I know I liked her. It's not every day you have someone you thought was an enemy that becomes a friend. Misaki-san was sent to get a bigger ship, by the Chairwoman herself. During the wait Chairwoman Cait was quite generous and patient. There was a small threat from a Corsair TBH pilot, but Chairwoman Cait made sure things were cool. She was a very nice person and I was impressed with her. Misaki-san was able to go and get a large transport and we got a lot of sake out of the deal, then we flew back. It was a good day.

Subject: Report: Raid on New Tokyo

Konbanwa sisters,

Alongside Shinibana Akemi Takara and Triad 4, we conducted a raid in the New Tokyo system, with the express purpose of making a statement; the Gen'an could and would strike at the very heart of Kusari if we wished. I was lagging behind the other two somewhat, ensuring none were tracing our tracks through the system. As we passed Kusari's capital planet itself, this would prove fruitful as two State Police snubcraft appeared, a bomber and fighter-bomber. Triad 4 arrived to assist, however in the name of honour I engaged both craft alone. The first, the fighter bomber, fell under the guns of my Tachi after just a few short minutes while the other had summoned reinforcements in the form of the Hogosha.

From this point onward, the fight continued to grow. The Hogosha chose to engage upon me. At this moment, Takara-sama arrived on the scene from her patrol elsewhere in the system, tying up the Hogosha while I finished off the second State Police fighter. Most curiously, Lady Tōko Hakkera appeared at the planet, far from Honshu, and watched on as an additional freelancer and corsair engaged themselves upon our duo. Triad 4 let her contempt for the Government show now as she joined the fight, which by this point was the trio of Chrysanthemum pilots against four Government associates.

The fight continued fiercely, however the skill of the Gen'an shined through as the Kusari pilots dropped one-by-one. First the second state police bomber to my own Tachi, which promptly moved on to engage the Corsair, then the Hogosha under the guns of the ace Takara. Shortly thereafter, the Corsair fell as it became entwined in a deadly dance, one which it could not handle. This left Takara-sama alone with the Freelancer; Takara's ship rapidly expending nanobots to repair hull breaches. All seemed to be lost before Takara rallied with a display of skill that legends are made of, spoken down through the generations. Her shield barely dipped as she drained the freelancer's ship of its integrity until finally, she was the last one standing.

This only left Lady Hakkera standing, alone, defenceless. She would not engage our pilots; she was not a warrior, she said. There is no dishonour in this confession, however what followed was a different story. She would flee to the comfort of New Tokyo as she went to land, robbing us of a potentially valuable prisoner. It is a shame, but despite this I can only consider this excursion an overwhelming success.

Today I was on the way from Malta back to Kinkaku-ji with a load of the Orange Goodys aka Cardamine. For most of the Flight, I had a Quiet Tripp and not much to do. But as I was Jumping into the Shikoku System I was Intercepted by a ship from the KSP. The Lapdog as my sisters called them tried to Destroy my Ship almost Immediately. But that was not all of my problems then soon a Second Ship from the Kusari Navy came along and attacked me too. at this point, I had no way to escape and called for help from my sisters. Sister Himari then came to my Rescue while one of the Attackers Crashed his ship in a Kamikaze Style into my Ship. Sister Himari saved me and bought me enough time to escape as I had only 3 Guns Left that could fire and several Holes in my Hull. I managed to Reach Kinkau-ji and dock my ship. The Sisters from our Engineering Department are now Repairing my ship and the Cardi that I could Safe is in our Warehouses. I thank Sister Himari for Saving my Life and that of my cute Parrot Miri. The Next Cardi Tea in the Bar is on me and I will be happy to Celebrate with you that I am Still Alive.

I've waited for a while to make my first report, I wanted it to be meaningful and important.
This one won't achieve that goal, but hey, it's past time I made this debrief. I'm happy to inform you that we've "reverse liberated" a lot of corrupt liberty citizen and we've,oh so kindly provided them with one way, free of charge, one time only tickets to Malta. Of course, we couldn't leave it at that, oh no. We've filled our holds to the brim with Cardamine and we swiftly moved it to KKJ. Of course, we had to celebrate. So we did just that. Now a three ship convoy, we've exported a whole lot of Shige to Liberty. The circle closes and the objective we so dearly desire is one step closer to us.

Look what I have. Jack Daniels gave this to me as a present when I was visiting him on his battleship.

Anyway first things first, before people get confused. Some freelancer on the freeport contracted me into delivering shige and some cardamine to an unspecified contact in the Sigmas. I was like why the hell not and agreed. I was promised 10 million credits for the job. Turned out it was the captain of a Core Battleship that was the contractor. Goes by the name of Jack Daniels. Was it called a Mako? Yes, I think it was. Anyway I was invited on board where I was staying as a guest. They gave me really good drinks and I even got some for the journey home. But lets not stray too far from the topic.

Jack Daniels of the Core - Not sure what rank he is but he seems to be important, has asked me to deliver a message to the Gen'an leadership. I needed to tell you. "The Core is open for business."
He proposes the following offer to us.

We start doing business with the Core. They are interested in shige, cardamine, drinks, and maybe some other stuff. In return they offer to sell us their hardware. Gadgets, weapons, technology, things like that.
In the future this may extend to protection and intel.
He mentioned that they are already on neutral terms with the Outcasts, so it won't conflict with our already established alliance.
And ofcourse this means that we don't touch Core vessels and they won't touch ours.

Silver polish, extended magazine, I think there is even a chrysanthemum among the floral engraving... or maybe not. And even better. It uses a special kind of ammunition. I still need to try it out though.
