I couldn't help but notice a certain report regarding your recent visit to one of our protected sites.
Your outlook on life has had me intrigued, it's very uncommon to find those fascinated in the persuit of knowledge. Something we all strive for here within the Technocracy.
I believe you mentioned you are a recently formed organisation? I wish to learn a bit more about your new group; How are your relations with others? Do you have a place of operations? Your modus operandi?

Greetings! Ah, I see the communication did indeed come quickly as it was mentioned it would. A pleasure to meet your acquaintance. My name is Doctor Sailas Montgomery, CEO and Lead Researcher of Starlight Research Consortium.
Knowledge is power and above all things for myself and my small fledgling team. We strive to learn as much as we can from those who came before so as to become the masters of our reality. Standing on the shoulders of giants, if you will.
Concerning your questions, yes we are recently formed. Nothing as flashy as many of the other groups I've seen flying around as of late. Just a small consortium of people banding together to learn more about the universe we live in. The more knowledge we have, the better we can be prepared for all of the things it throws at us.
Our relations with others can be summed up as we follow the ideologies of the Zoners. Meaning we tend to not frequent house space when we can. Though some of our small organization tends to favor Gallia at times as a singular exception.
Currently our base of operations is located in Kepler at an old run down facility that I stumbled across some time ago. I spent many, many days lovingly restoring the station before the Dark Matter cloud unceremoniously invited itself to our doorstep. Now, the base is isolated deep inside one of the radiation pockets that is constantly giving us trouble. If it's not servos locking up then it's one of the crew forgetting to take their meds and getting a case of violent radiation sickness. There have been talks of selling the base and finding another location to setup shop or possibly building our own...but that's all up in the air for the time being. Funding can be a bitch, if you'll forgive the colorful language.
Lastly, your question about our "modus operandi". I've mentioned it a few times before if you didn't notice. "Knowledge is power and above all things.". We strive to learn as much about the universe around us. There is so much man has yet to learn...yet we would rather fight one another over mining rights or territory when there is so much room already.
Humanity at it's finest, I suppose. Musings for another time, however.
I hope that answers any questions you might have. I'm looking forward to hearing more about your group as well. I must admit, I've heard rumblings about you and your people but not much more than rumors or curses. The information your pilot freely gave during our encounter near one of your sites was certainly intriguing and I look forward to more of those discussions at a later time. That is, if you're so inclined.
We look forward to hearing back from you in due time. We need to rest now, however. The flight to the Taus seems to have taken the energy from my crew, and we've stopped over in one of the independent worlds enroute.
I look forward to future correspondence in due time.

Knowledge is indeed power. And once you have such power, what do you intend to do with such? You have seen several types of power manifesting around Sirius. To project might, for example. What will you do with all your knowledge?
Kepler - oh ... There may be a few problems with that... Which, obviously, pertains to the storm and its increasing intensity. It will not be safe for your group to base there. We have been in the process of convincing Ames to evacuate, as well as the other familiar companies there. Some of our people have already evacuated.
Perhaps you might be interested in collaboration. Maybe it would be prudent to meet up to discuss more? Would you be willing to travel to Kusari or Rheinland for these talks?

What do we intend to do with this power? Why learn more of course! We will use this knowledge to better our peers and lift everyone up so that we might all benefit from it and grow as a species. Ignorance is the enemy of progress, after all.
We are already working on moving from Kepler. It pains me to leave the place I worked so hard to restore, but we have a few options in other systems that we are looking into. Nothing has panned out as of yet, but we are looking. However, we are tempted to remain in Kepler just because of the very fascinating and interesting changes going on in system. It's not every day you have an opportunity to research Dark Matter in such close quarters, radiation be damned.
Concerning our meeting, unfortunately we will be far outside of signal range for a period of a couple weeks whilst working on research projects beyond the "rim of civilized space". However, upon our return we would certainly be interested in meeting at your earliest convivence. It seems our two parties have similar priorities and we would be interested to see where this leads.
We are interested to hear about your hopes and thoughts for future collaborations between Auxo and SLRC. Unless you would rather discuss this in person instead of through a communications channel.
We look forward to hearing back. We will be departing in less than 24 hours for our research project and as such will not be reachable beyond that time frame, but I look forward to your reply if it is received before we are on our way.
A pleasure as always.

Indeed. The learning can never truly stop, nor is there an end to knowledge...
Unfortunately, sometimes the overindulgence of information can overload some, or empower some with a nefarious political intent. Such is the weakness that plagues humanity. The inability to unify.
No doubt that you hold curiosity regarding Kepler, but I assure you, all life there will cease to be within the future. If there are problems with your evacuation, I can arrange assistance to help you relocate assets.
There is an alternative to studying Dark Matter up close. Something my fellow Technocrats have been looking into, we have been interested in tracking down Dark Matter storms, due to their close correlation with appearances of the anomalies.
I will leave further details until we are able to meet in person, I may have some offers to make. Until then, good luck on your adventure.
I hope your travels have fared you well. We have had word that your organisation has resurfaced within the Sector, I pray no trouble has been bestowed upon your group in the meanwhile?
We are still willing to talk for potential collaboration, if you desire to meet us.

Greetings,
Indeed! We have returned from our long sojourn to the ends of the universe!
Apologies for not getting back to your people earlier. We have a lot of irons in the fire concerning our fledgling group and as such haven't had an opportunity to reach out to everyone with whom we were conversing before we left. However, now that we, and by extension myself, have returned, we're discovering that paperwork and research has piled up in our absence. Not to mention logistics concerning our base and other items. These things take time to sort through, you understand, as such we may have been neglecting communications.
Name a time and place, we would be interested in meeting to see what benefits our respective groups can offer one another in the future. We are always interested in learning more about Sirius and the universe around us. Any avenue that will allow us to further reach these goals is to be considered and examined.
We look forward to your reply.

If not, perhaps you would like to discuss a few matters over a glass of Wine. Or simply talking over the ship comms is sufficient.
We cannot talk about these matters on the Neural Net. Would you be willing to meet at Freeport 14? Or perhaps you would like something a bit more ... exotic and secluded away from prying eyes?

Greetings,
Indeed, Brad mentioned something to me earlier in the evening. Something about the Taus where we call home?
Freeport 14 isn't that far away and a drink would be most welcome. It's been a tiring few weeks researching and developing nigh non-stop. I could use some down time.
Name the date and time and I'll see to it that I'm there.
