Dropping the hammer Kepler System
The second part of the Colorado Incident event chain
Overview
¤¤¤¤¤ After investigating the Pueblo Station assault, the Order believes it has located the likely point of origin from which the Nomads and their enslaved servants launched their attack. With the heavier assets present occupied with defending Pueblo and keeping the trade lanes blocked and with little time to spare, the decision was made to launch a combined task force. The snub vessels primarily consisting of Liberty and Order assets, assisted by what brave defenders of Pueblo still remain in the area, set out to take out the threat right at the source; the Kepler system.
¤¤¤¤¤ The dark matter storm in the system has made traversing it a virtual nightmare, leaving the incoming humans vulnerable to ambushes from just outside their limited sensor range. Little did they know the Nomads have already caught wind of their plans and have taken appropriate countermeasures with a small decoy base in the southern part of the system, worst case scenario the existence and location of the Wyoming remains a secret, best case scenario they deal a further blow to the Humans with minimal effort.
Event Duration:
at 19:00 to 20:00 time on 15/07/2023 date - No Respawn Cooldown Timer for deaths occurring in the KEPLER SYSTEM ONLY for the duration of the event.
NOTES
This event is one of three official faction events that, together, form a player made mini story arch. These events are open for all to join and will hopefully spur more creative rp.
Nomad indies and Wilde will have ZOI in the Kepler, Galileo and Colorado systems during these three events. Please keep in mind this is a temporary allowance for the duration specified in each separate event.
RULES
This will be a snub only event.
Wilde and Nomad IDs will have their extended ZOI for the weekend (so both the day of the event and the day after, so there's enough time for follow up rp and moving back).
The fighting will be at E-F7 around a Wilde PoB, due to the size of the system Wyoming might appear on scanners but that is to be disregarded.
The Wilde PoB at the fighting zone will have its hp lowered so that it could be taken down realistically by bombers without being horrid to do so. (exact hp to be discussed with staff and might be adjusted mid fight if deemed too much or too little, this is largely influenced by turnout after all).
Event restarts will feature full pvp viable loadouts, keep in mind however if you want to truly customize your build you will need to do this in advance and might involve conn transfers.
Players are asked to keep numbers in mind and use the provided event restarts if needed to even things out.
The goals for each side are as follows: Humans want to kill the PoB, Aliens want to take down as many Humans as possible while they're being distracted by the PoB. Kills on both sides will be tracked.
the human side is just for liberty navy and order or other like, zoners and xenos and even freelancers can show up? said zoners and xenos since they have interests on the system.
+1 tbh little strange, it's Zoners who have been Rping in Kepler the most, even cooperating with Navy - I'd for sure include them for this one on human side

Considering that the Wild base is very far from Ames and this feels like a secret military operation, Zoners and Freelancers probably don't make much sense.
I don't think that the Order and Navy would like to leave any witnesses.

On another look - as the first event has shown, the balance of sides is essential, zoners would make it even more skewed, unless somehow Aoi magically comes back to life

Oops, I haven't been thinking about the ingame balance at all - but yes, that's even more important if both sides want to have a fun. Zoners, Freelancers, Navy and Order vs Nomads is pretty much going to be one-sided as previous event was.
