I know it been a long time since i left for the Omegas but now i have returned. I should have listened to Hotaru when she told me all i would find there is anger, hate and bloodshed. Most people there are petty thieves or will try to hustle you into doing shady work.
I also missed Kusari and everyone who i call my friends. Those i trust with my life... every sisters who never and will never judge me. I hope you will forgive me for my quick departure but now i'm back.
I was also part of that race under the alias Gin Sake, as in Gin and Sake, 2 drinks. Sadly I ended up at 6th place, but at the draw of additional prizes in the end, I ended up getting a cloaking device that can be mounted on a transport core. So all in all not that bad. Maruso-san was the big winner though. Also I made some photos while there. There were bounty hunters, but they didn't bother us. BAF also kept watch.
Anyway, I guess I will move the cloaking device to the armoury. I personally have no use for it right now. I would recommend outfitting one of our ships with it to be able to fly under the radar. The Hayabusa I used during the race will soon fly Gen'an colours. We should really set up another race ourselves. Also, Welcome back, Hamada-san
Because of the long time absence of Adachi Masaki and the need to maintain the leadership structure, it has been decided to move her to the rank of Katanamochi for the time being. Replacing her as Nijigiku and acting second in command, Matsumoto Hotaru. will take over her duties.
The Gen'an Leadership is potentially interested on taking the docking module off your hands.
We would be able to upgrade the Okuni, our Dunlin-class frigate with drone/fighter carrying capacity. It would could become a situational ultra light carrier during long distance operations. With our growing drone collection managed by certain person, it would also be useful to equip it with drone servicing equipment for on-scene maintenance.
We are willing to offer you a sum of 150 million credits for it.
As I made my statement, I am willing to give the Docking Module as it has no value to me, but as I promised to the loyalty of the sisterhood from the very start, I'm extending my hand to an agreement to take the sum as I am willing to set my record straight to benefit the Golden Chrysanthemum. As for the Okuni that needs such upgrade, I'll be more than happy to give it for our cause, as it could prove useful in our battles ahead.

That drone you've brought in yesterday is a state of art repair unit. I dont know how you managed to lure it into Kusari but hell, why should i care if its here in one piece.
Into more technical stuff... well reverse engineering this one seems to be much harder than Tanagumos'. Althrough both of them are manufactured at the same facility as shown by brand marks, the mainteance drone is different...
At the beginning i tought "Ohkay this is going to be simple, I just need to format it and upload slightly modified Kumo-AI to use the repair array instead of scanner one". But in reality whole thing was just a waterfall of errors. To make Kumo-AI 2.0 that is compatabile with both drones I need some Counterfeit Software from Ames station in Kepler... probably 5 data storages should be enough.
Till then I've put some skinned code from reppie and put it into Kumo-AI... Thing is working but drone has some weird behaviour that i can't overcome without above. In big short, it likes to stick close to artifical stellar masses... its not of an big issue but can be annoying. Plus its Self awarnes isnt working sometimes and drone behaves just like robot executing simple commands.
Like Tanagumo, its powercore can not support shield and weapon systems but I've put our brand engine and transmitter on it so it should be safe in our friends systems. Also codenamed it as Tsuchigumo

Yesterday I've ventured to Ames to get the stuff necessary for my drone hobby but who I would be if i wouldn't gather more than I need *laughs*.
With that in my possesion, Kumo-AI 2.0 should be released in close future. Results to be expected is for Tsuchigumo to get rid of its... characteristic behaviour, and for Tanagumo to increase efficiency of plotting routes and PPU (Projectile Prediction Unit). Its response should be wwaayyy quicker.
On the other hand, reinfonced alloy I've also brought will allow me to modify my workstations to be able to design and manufacture more advanced technology and drone related stuff, maybe even a dedicated drone shield... who knows.
Also for the time being when I'll have Kumo 2.0 ready for testing you will not be able to request Tsuchigumo company as it will be under quarantine in my lab till everything will work, or hangar with reinforced walls cuz it is what it is.
Tanagumo however will still be operational but one day when new AI version is ready in order to flash its own.

Been quite a while since I've last made a transmission. I was within the void of an unknown to me system, where I was cut out of power, been weeks even months since it happened. Trying to find a medicine for my heart disease, it was infected by some kind of bacteria and gave me heart spasms, I have to act and find the source of it and make an antidote. There is no luck so far and gone to Omicron Alpha, one of the doctors from the outcasts identify the problem, but I had to be in intensive care while I was away and gone. Right now I am slowly returning home to my beloved Kusari and to all of my sisters to see to make sure they're safe and sound while I was gone.

This is a post-patrol debrief.
Early tonight, at approx 1930 hours, standard Sirius time, I encountered a large Gallic Force in the Hayate Dust field, Kyushu. I was on my way to Matsuda with the intention of RVing with more of our own, as well as a few Blood Dragons. Something was going down and we were sent to find out what exactly. We conducted a system sweep and found a sizable KNF attack group in the Ohka Dust field. I was under the impression we're going to handle the foreigners first, but the KNF opened up on us within thirty seconds. Our entire wing was decimated, both Dragons and Chrysanthemums. Only Wakizashi was left, but he conducted a tactical retreat. A KNF fighter managed to isolate me and the fight was going his way. His backup was also gaining on me fast, I was pretty much done for. However, this is precisely when the GRN force came within scanner range. I did the sensible thing and turned around towards them, leading the entire KNF wing straight into Gallic death circle. It worked like a charm. The KNF were forced to defend themselves and I was left unchecked. Wakizashi also made his return and we exacted our revenge on the traitorous Naval Forces. I'm happy to report every single KNF ship was swiftly dispatched. While the GRN were busy with the last KNF mercenary, we evacuated the area.
Later that evening, at around 2050 hours, we conducted a S&R operation and I'm happy to report all escape pods were retrieved. Furthermore, we recovered a few disabled ships onboard the Ashitazu and even towed the Amaririsu's hull back to safety. Furthermore, after picking up a small and weak signature, we discovered that Hotaru's pod had crashed into an asteroid, leaving a small crater and embedding itself into the rock. We towed the asteroid, designated "Yamcha" back to base as well. Getting that pod out is someone else's problem now.
Thanks to her many contributions in recent times, Maruso Michiya has been promoted to the honourable rank of Shireigiku and one of the commanders of the Gen'an forces. May Matsuda guide her.
