I am pleased to inform you that the operation to secure the Yorktown, extract the crew and move the ship to Norfolk Shipyard has been successfully completed.
The entirety of the warship's crew with the exception of the commanding officer is in custody aboard two prison ships that are currently moored with the Shipyard and awaiting your orders. The warship's commanding officer is being held into custody on board the Akhetaten and we are awaiting for orders on how to proceed from here.
The Tribunal for Captain Reznik and her crew has reached its conclusion. Captain Reznik has been found guilty of high treason and is to be executed without delay. You are hereby ordered to carry out the sentencing aboard the Akhetaten; The method of execution is death by firing squad. As for the prisoner transports, they have been given new orders and will be underway to their final destination shortly.
Orders received and acknowledged. We have the Captain in custody aboard the Akhetaten and we are to proceed with her execution in due time. The final preparations are being made as we speak.
Vice Admiral, I believe this requires your immediate attention, so please study this flight exempt thoroughly. It involves some disturbing statements we've no luxury to ignore, considering our involvement with the Earhart.
I understand it might be coming of a barely trustworthy source, but for a lack of a better one and considering we are still staring at the unknown with Earhart...
... we may be able to make something out of this. At the Command's discretion, of course.
[10.10.2023 05:41:09] 5th|Alex.Kingston: What could come from continued exploitation, then.
[10.10.2023 05:41:41] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Afternoon, officers, and... what is this?
[10.10.2023 05:41:41] Vagrant.Psyche: "There exist secrets. Corpses, rotting in crypts. Guardians, wishing the ruin of all. And destruction to which thy momentary--
[10.10.2023 05:41:47] Vagrant.Psyche: --Collapse shall seem paltry in comparison to."
[10.10.2023 05:41:48] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: And more presciently, what would you have us do? Sit idly by while others exploit the new territory?
[10.10.2023 05:42:04] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I doubt Liberty would fall behind in such a manner.
[10.10.2023 05:42:09] Vagrant.Psyche: "We do not wish to see the voids collapse. It is in Our interest to prevent this."
[10.10.2023 05:42:17] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: As for what this is... that's a very good question, Hvitrnott
[10.10.2023 05:42:43] Vagrant.Psyche: "And so We are compelled to approach thee and thine with an opportunity."
[10.10.2023 05:42:56] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Doubt we can count on courtesy of revelation, then.
[10.10.2023 05:43:00] 5th|Alex.Kingston: Your kind saught our destruction before. Why would you tell us to stay away if it were for our own good?
[10.10.2023 05:43:12] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: And what opportunity might that be?
[10.10.2023 05:43:23] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I doubt it would be to our benefit.
[10.10.2023 05:43:31] Vagrant.Psyche: "The good of all. Not only thine. We sing of cooperation in this one place. This one regard. To avoid catastrophe."
[10.10.2023 05:43:40] A/)-Revenant: I believe these... machinations even harm them - the Nomads.
[10.10.2023 05:43:45] Vagrant.Psyche: "If the voids collapse, all follow."
[10.10.2023 05:43:57] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: How?
[10.10.2023 05:44:01] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Which, Technocrat, is a reason to exploit them and utilise them.
[10.10.2023 05:44:02] A/)-Revenant: It is not their creation.
[10.10.2023 05:44:16] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Then whose creation is it?
[10.10.2023 05:44:16] A/)-Revenant: And it is not yours either, do you know what you are walking into?
[10.10.2023 05:44:28] A/)-Revenant: Those ~sentries~ existed for a reason.
[10.10.2023 05:44:44] A/)-Revenant: All of them perfectly aligned to aim at the center.
[10.10.2023 05:44:45] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: And none of us can divine what that reason may be, so it is in our interest to find out
[10.10.2023 05:44:55] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: We do not. Yet. But we'll crack mysteries of the place open.
[10.10.2023 05:45:03] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Our scientists and explorers, rather.
[10.10.2023 05:45:05] Vagrant.Psyche: "Thou trample into the gardens of gods. We possess insight unlike any of thine have known of these gardens."
[10.10.2023 05:45:31] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: And it is for that reason, Nomad, that nothing you say can be trusted; you will act in your own interest above all others
[10.10.2023 05:45:43] Vagrant.Psyche: "Is not the same true of thine?"
[10.10.2023 05:45:48] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Of course it is.
[10.10.2023 05:46:01] Vagrant.Psyche: "Then how dost thou trust?"
[10.10.2023 05:46:11] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Trust is earned.
[10.10.2023 05:46:35] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: And your kind have done very little to earn said trust, quite the opposite, at that
[10.10.2023 05:46:40] Vagrant.Psyche: "Then know the intention laid out before thee. To build steps to this, to prevent the destruction of all."
[10.10.2023 05:47:03] A/)-Revenant: History is a fickle one, it will be an eternal loop, but do bare your own caution.
[10.10.2023 05:47:10] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: It's not gained through beautiful words. Act, and we'll see your intent.
[10.10.2023 05:47:36] Death: KenseiKen was divided by zero.
[10.10.2023 05:47:48] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Then, those who are responsible for the decision - will make one.
[10.10.2023 05:47:49] Vagrant.Psyche: "We hold these voids dear. To see them perish, to see the works of Our Creators disintegrate, would give untold grief."
[10.10.2023 05:48:20] A/)-Revenant: Why would your Creators contain - or generate - something that could destroy it all?
[10.10.2023 05:48:35] 5th|Alex.Kingston: Maybe a safeguard..
[10.10.2023 05:48:44] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Contain seems simple enough at least, to prevent whatever the heck from getting out
[10.10.2023 05:48:50] Vagrant.Psyche: "The will of gods often remains inscrutable without further study. Pondering."
[10.10.2023 05:48:51] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: They didn't wish to trust safety of their creation to just one factor, that's why.
[10.10.2023 05:49:09] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: And left another precaution.
[10.10.2023 05:49:20] A/)-Revenant: To kill every material including their own?
[10.10.2023 05:49:22] A/)-Revenant: It does not add up.
[10.10.2023 05:49:44] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Scorched earth doctrine, perhaps?
[10.10.2023 05:49:46] Vagrant.Psyche: "All we have heard is the Scream. All we have seen is the Collapse. We do not presume, merely observe."
[10.10.2023 05:49:48] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: In case all else fails - it does add up. If their plan didn't go as intended...
[10.10.2023 05:49:51] Vagrant.Psyche: "The capacity exists."
[10.10.2023 05:49:55] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: A safeguard against the fall of.. whatever they were?
[10.10.2023 05:49:58] A/)-Revenant: What is there in Sirius to /hide/.
[10.10.2023 05:50:29] Vagrant.Psyche: "Horrors lurk in shadows that give even Light pause. The end of things. Woe, untold. Unmeasureable."
[10.10.2023 05:50:31] A/)-Revenant: Their Creators existed... Far above and beyond, Sirius was but a mere cornerstone - from what we can see in their relics.
[10.10.2023 05:50:33] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: We thought the same until /this/ was discovered.
[10.10.2023 05:50:45] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Turns out there /is/ something to hide.
[10.10.2023 05:50:51] Vagrant.Psyche: "Death, lurking in the abysses beyond."
[10.10.2023 05:50:59] A/)-Revenant: Galaxies connected, yet this place, in particular, was a place of experimentation, of playthings.
[10.10.2023 05:51:21] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I wouldn't be surprised if there were mysteries beyond count in this sector.
[10.10.2023 05:51:33] A/)-Revenant: We're in one of their byproducts as of now.
[10.10.2023 05:51:38] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I'd wager more than a few of them weren't meant to be public knowledge
[10.10.2023 05:51:51] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Some of them doubtlessly came from the Nomads' creators.
[10.10.2023 05:51:51] Vagrant.Psyche: "And mysteries that must be taken care with to preserve life itself."
[10.10.2023 05:51:58] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: And it would appear we stumbled over one of such.
[10.10.2023 05:52:11] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: For all I know, the Nomad has a very vested interest in keeping us away from their creators' creations
[10.10.2023 05:52:12] A/)-Revenant: Humanity happened to settle upon it all.
[10.10.2023 05:52:34] Vagrant.Psyche: "We tried this. We failed. This is plain."
[10.10.2023 05:52:56] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Explain this, then. All accidents that ever happened to the jump gates, or anomalies...
[10.10.2023 05:53:07] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: ...left ships stranded /there/.
[10.10.2023 05:53:20] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Why? Is it a sort of a hub?
[10.10.2023 05:53:38] A/)-Revenant: It is an anchor of sorts... but those guardians - who protect... I'm ...
[10.10.2023 05:53:43] A/)-Revenant: Puzzled. Why they did not show up.
[10.10.2023 05:54:00] Vagrant.Psyche: "We adapt. We survive. We see the paths arrayed. The ripples, eddies, flows."
[10.10.2023 05:54:03] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Perhaps there is no guardians left. Or /our/ threat was not enough.
[10.10.2023 05:54:05] A/)-Revenant: The anomalies throughout the sector, they all interconnected.
[10.10.2023 05:54:06] A/)-Revenant: No.
[10.10.2023 05:54:08] A/)-Revenant: They are there.
[10.10.2023 05:54:09] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: What if they prepared for far worse?
[10.10.2023 05:54:19] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: What makes you so sure they didn't die off over milennia of inactivity?
[10.10.2023 05:54:28] Vagrant.Psyche: "We have encountered them."
[10.10.2023 05:54:33] A/)-Revenant: I have encountered them too.
[10.10.2023 05:54:48] A/)-Revenant: As have some of your compatriots, Olson.
[10.10.2023 05:54:50] Tip: You were a new player once. If you see someone making obvious mistakes, talk to them and help them.
[10.10.2023 05:55:06] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Have you now? And you've aught to confirm it beside verbal accounts?
[10.10.2023 05:55:07] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Ah, you speak of the Nomads? They were quickly dispatched
[10.10.2023 05:55:10] Vagrant.Psyche: "The corrupting ones. Mindless, without soul, vicious and everlasting in their hunt."
[10.10.2023 05:55:11] A/)-Revenant: No.
[10.10.2023 05:55:14] A/)-Revenant: They are not Nomads.
[10.10.2023 05:55:26] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Then /what/ are they?
[10.10.2023 05:55:48] 5th|Alex.Kingston: The platforms that surround the center?
[10.10.2023 05:55:50] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I was there for the whole ride, I saw capital-class Nomads as well as the stationary defence platforms, not much more
[10.10.2023 05:55:56] A/)-Revenant: The guard dogs of sites, of places that were buried away. Mistakes, locked away.
[10.10.2023 05:55:57] A/)-Revenant: Ah.
[10.10.2023 05:56:05] A/)-Revenant: Shozaks goons.
[10.10.2023 05:56:14] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: What's *that* meant to mean
[10.10.2023 05:56:15] Vagrant.Psyche: "The Brethren. Not of Our kin."
[10.10.2023 05:56:19] A/)-Revenant: No, he was stirred by the disturbance, he is a simple creature of hatred.
[10.10.2023 05:56:28] A/)-Revenant: An elder, within the Omicron brood.
[10.10.2023 05:56:35] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Aren't most Nomads?
[10.10.2023 05:56:47] Vagrant.Psyche: (Wry, knowing amusement.)
[10.10.2023 05:56:50] A/)-Revenant: It is not their purpose to wage wars.
[10.10.2023 05:56:57] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Remember that /Nomads/ was a name given to them by humanity.
[10.10.2023 05:57:10] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: They're awfully good at it for something they aren't purposed for.
[10.10.2023 05:57:29] A/)-Revenant: We happen to be better at fighting than them.
[10.10.2023 05:57:34] 5th|Alex.Kingston: They're caretakers, not fighters.
[10.10.2023 05:57:40] 5th|Alex.Kingston: Even the Order understood this.
[10.10.2023 05:58:03] Vagrant.Psyche: "It is a role to which We were forced to adapt."
[10.10.2023 05:58:06] A/)-Revenant: They had studied, just as others did. Architects. Maintenance crew.
[10.10.2023 05:58:09] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Clearly humanity was not on their caretaking list.
[10.10.2023 05:58:14] A/)-Revenant: And any good engineer can juryrig a shotgun.
[10.10.2023 05:58:21] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: We're on the janitor's to-do list, Hvirtnott
[10.10.2023 05:58:44] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Good that they aren't doing too good of a job at it.
[10.10.2023 05:58:53] A/)-Revenant: I do not believe they possessed great cognitive skills when they were awoken from their stasis.
[10.10.2023 05:59:20] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: But you don't know for sure.
[10.10.2023 05:59:26] A/)-Revenant: Do you?
[10.10.2023 05:59:29] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: No.
[10.10.2023 05:59:35] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Only one here who does speaks in riddles.
[10.10.2023 05:59:44] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Belief is just a speculation, though.
[10.10.2023 05:59:47] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Nothing conclusive.
[10.10.2023 05:59:47] A/)-Revenant: Most would be angry if they were woken up in their own home.
[10.10.2023 05:59:53] Vagrant.Psyche: "Memory sings of tools and greed and defilement. Of overzealous hunters for knowledge and riches, destroying home."
[10.10.2023 05:59:56] A/)-Revenant: That their belongings were being abducted by an unusual creature.
[10.10.2023 06:00:20] Vagrant.Psyche: "We do not come for thy pity or understanding in this, however. Few give it."
[10.10.2023 06:00:30] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: I think I don't need a lesson in history, Revenant.
[10.10.2023 06:00:39] Vagrant.Psyche: "We come for mutual interest."
[10.10.2023 06:00:56] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Then you're failing to elaborate on it.
[10.10.2023 06:01:02] A/)-Revenant: No, but it is good to try to understand what may be going on.
[10.10.2023 06:01:22] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: The Nomad is trying to get across some kind of idea that we should stay away from Earhart
[10.10.2023 06:01:26] A/)-Revenant: I believe they've made mention before you two arrived.
[10.10.2023 06:01:31] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I don't buy its motives personally
[10.10.2023 06:01:33] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Something slumbers within that object in the center? These defense structures fending off the intruders?
[10.10.2023 06:01:33] Vagrant.Psyche: "We cannot prevent thee from going to it."
[10.10.2023 06:01:45] Vagrant.Psyche: "We can only advise and guide. Study Ourselves."
[10.10.2023 06:02:02] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Then throw us to the wolves when the time is right?
[10.10.2023 06:02:21] Vagrant.Psyche: "Make assurances to counter deception."
[10.10.2023 06:02:23] 5th|Alex.Kingston: If they wanted us to stay away, they wouldn't be trying to tell us to stay away.
[10.10.2023 06:02:25] A/)-Revenant: Worry not, it seems Kusari is doing that to themselves already.
[10.10.2023 06:02:29] Vagrant.Psyche: "Thou art capable of this."
[10.10.2023 06:02:36] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Mmh. Kusari and the Corsairs both.
[10.10.2023 06:02:48] Vagrant.Psyche: "We have not yet gone to other darklings in this matter."
[10.10.2023 06:02:50] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: They were turned away once, they will be turned away again.
[10.10.2023 06:02:57] Vagrant.Psyche: "Thou art the first."
[10.10.2023 06:03:05] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: is that supposed to be flattering?
[10.10.2023 06:03:05] A/)-Revenant: Why Liberty, Nomad?
[10.10.2023 06:03:19] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Fine, let's /imply/, for a second, I'm thinking out of the box and giving you benefit of doubt.
[10.10.2023 06:03:22] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: What next?
[10.10.2023 06:03:27] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Oh boy.
[10.10.2023 06:03:40] Vagrant.Psyche: "Thee and thine triumphed in the confrontation. It is only right We would look to thee."
[10.10.2023 06:04:01] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Fret not, Olson. Should it go wrong and Vice Admiral will have my head.
[10.10.2023 06:04:17] Vagrant.Psyche: "This hive may yet be at the tip of the spear of darkness."
[10.10.2023 06:04:26] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Look, it's your rabbit hole to go down
[10.10.2023 06:04:51] A/)-Revenant: If it's any consolation, I would shove you into a stasis pod if you became compromised.
[10.10.2023 06:04:59] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: So, are you saying it'll unleash something worse if 'opened'?
[10.10.2023 06:05:14] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Or tampered with, for that matter.
[10.10.2023 06:05:28] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Worse than the Nomad invasion of early 800's?
[10.10.2023 06:05:32] Vagrant.Psyche: "Consider this offer. Consider trials to test Our worthiness in this endeavor. Consider whatever Thou must."
[10.10.2023 06:05:58] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: As I recall, the Nomad here has a very great fear of the 'dark' overtaking the 'light', I'm ever more convinced it's simply -
[10.10.2023 06:06:01] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: - working to that end
[10.10.2023 06:06:03] Vagrant.Psyche: "Know that We are of one mind. And the Brethren thou witnessed within the Source are of another."
[10.10.2023 06:06:20] A/)-Revenant: Sh'ozaks brood.
[10.10.2023 06:06:21] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I'm sorry, those were... different kinds of nomads?
[10.10.2023 06:06:24] A/)-Revenant: Yes.
[10.10.2023 06:06:30] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: There's a difference?
[10.10.2023 06:06:32] A/)-Revenant: Yes.
[10.10.2023 06:06:42] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Am I just entirely uneducated on this or something?
[10.10.2023 06:06:44] Vagrant.Psyche: "We are Lights of the Abyss. We know more of the dark corners of the universe than the kin beyond the Green Veil."
[10.10.2023 06:07:04] A/)-Revenant: A lot has changed within the past ten ye--... Oh... It really is 833, isn't it...
[10.10.2023 06:07:14] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: It is.
[10.10.2023 06:07:21] A/)-Revenant: A shame. But much has happened since.
[10.10.2023 06:07:48] A/)-Revenant: How intriguing that your Order allies neglected to inform you of this relevation however.
[10.10.2023 06:07:50] A/)-Revenant: No matter.
[10.10.2023 06:07:55] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Enough to cause a split within a seemingly united hivemind?
[10.10.2023 06:08:19] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: The Order can be a little on the perfidious side at times.
[10.10.2023 06:08:28] 5th|Alex.Kingston: Perhaps they were never truly a 'united' hivemind.
[10.10.2023 06:08:32] Vagrant.Psyche: "The Banishers rarely allow reason and sense to guide them."
[10.10.2023 06:08:41] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: The only Order operatives we've encountered were Section Eight.
[10.10.2023 06:08:50] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: The shady bunch. Enigmatic.
[10.10.2023 06:08:51] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Troublesome.
[10.10.2023 06:08:58] A/)-Revenant: [There was a moment of air being inhaled, as if about to speak, but hummed, thinking. ]
[10.10.2023 06:09:10] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Mm. There's another that goes by Empress. Run into them once or twice.
[10.10.2023 06:09:18] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Similar deal.
[10.10.2023 06:09:21] A/)-Revenant: ...Hayes usually works with Section Eight.
[10.10.2023 06:09:28] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Hayes? Nicole Hayes?
[10.10.2023 06:09:33] A/)-Revenant: No, Empress.
[10.10.2023 06:09:37] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: ..Hmm.
[10.10.2023 06:09:37] A/)-Revenant: I believe that was her name?
[10.10.2023 06:09:54] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: No wonder they speak in similiar terms.
[10.10.2023 06:09:56] Vagrant.Psyche: "The Empress-named. A hate-filled being."
[10.10.2023 06:10:05] 5th|Alex.Kingston: Not entirely without reason.
[10.10.2023 06:10:12] Vagrant.Psyche: "We cannot hold this against her."
[10.10.2023 06:10:22] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: You and your brethren did a lot to us, Nomad. I think you can understand.
[10.10.2023 06:10:28] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Indeed.
[10.10.2023 06:10:41] Vagrant.Psyche: "As thine did to Ours. The wheel of woe hath turned for many cycles."
[10.10.2023 06:11:06] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: And it will keep turning, so long as there are those who remember.
[10.10.2023 06:11:10] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Or care.
[10.10.2023 06:11:20] A/)-Revenant: Simply being different is enough, as it appears.
[10.10.2023 06:11:24] Vagrant.Psyche: "It matters what is done for the sanctity of Our kin and thine living and yet to live."
[10.10.2023 06:11:38] Vagrant.Psyche: "Not for those returned to the universe."
[10.10.2023 06:11:49] Vagrant.Psyche: "They know peace."
[10.10.2023 06:12:00] A/)-Revenant: You know, Misfit.
[10.10.2023 06:12:05] Misfit: I don't
[10.10.2023 06:12:05] A/)-Revenant: It helps to cloak before getting into range.
[10.10.2023 06:12:10] Misfit: I forgot
[10.10.2023 06:12:15] A/)-Revenant: Eavesdropping doesn't work if we know you're there.
[10.10.2023 06:12:19] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Mm.
[10.10.2023 06:12:21] Misfit: Can I have a do-over
[10.10.2023 06:12:24] Misfit: I'll be back
[10.10.2023 06:12:26] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Probably not.
[10.10.2023 06:12:26] A/)-Revenant: Sure. Re-take.
[10.10.2023 06:12:33] A/)-Revenant: I'll forget I saw you.
[10.10.2023 06:12:41] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: hmm.
[10.10.2023 06:13:20] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: We best move elsewhere.
[10.10.2023 06:13:26] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Before this awkward buffoon returns.
[10.10.2023 06:13:40] Vagrant.Psyche: (Calm. Patience.)
[10.10.2023 06:13:45] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: If you intend on further conversation... that is.
[10.10.2023 06:13:57] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Sure enough, freelancer's gone
[10.10.2023 06:14:05] A/)-Revenant: er, no.
[10.10.2023 06:14:14] A/)-Revenant: He is towards Charlie-Six.
[10.10.2023 06:14:17] Vagrant.Psyche: "Skittering in the dark, hoping to see what awaits?"
[10.10.2023 06:14:21] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Mm.
[10.10.2023 06:14:24] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I see.
[10.10.2023 06:14:41] Vagrant.Psyche: {The sentiment expressed carries with it an oddly human tone. Quite unlike most of the speech so far.}
[10.10.2023 06:15:45] Vagrant.Psyche: "We know of the difficulties posed in these regards. In what We ask of thee and thine. And that thou art not the one to decide"
[10.10.2023 06:15:54] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: You did not do too well at hiding.
[10.10.2023 06:15:58] Misfit: Shhhhhj
[10.10.2023 06:16:09] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Should we dispose of him?
[10.10.2023 06:16:11] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: What's your business here, Freelancer.
[10.10.2023 06:16:25] Misfit: I have none
[10.10.2023 06:16:32] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Good answer.
[10.10.2023 06:16:33] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Then leave.
[10.10.2023 06:16:33] Misfit: That's why I wanted to be hidden
[10.10.2023 06:16:48] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: God bless the uncloaking mechanic.
[10.10.2023 06:16:54] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Mmh. Cruise disruptors failed.
[10.10.2023 06:16:54] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Though I caught him randomly.
[10.10.2023 06:17:17] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: These new ones behave oddly.
[10.10.2023 06:17:33] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: You talkin' about the Nomad?
[10.10.2023 06:17:46] Vagrant.Psyche: [The craft is still. Its stance seems almost meditative as the tendrils of light move back and forth.]
[10.10.2023 06:17:49] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: About the disruptors, though sentiment applies to both.
[10.10.2023 06:18:02] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Ah, you're not wrong.
[10.10.2023 06:18:15] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Wouldn't mind going back to the old issue but, it is what it is
[10.10.2023 06:18:27] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: We don't get to choose. Sadly.
[10.10.2023 06:18:35] Vagrant.Psyche: "The wheel turns."
[10.10.2023 06:18:45] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Wouldn't that be a blessing.
[10.10.2023 06:18:59] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I'm sure the engineers will sort them out sooner or later.
[10.10.2023 06:19:05] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: something about equipment being made by the lowest bidder.
[10.10.2023 06:19:19] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: I hope without us knocking common sense into them... directly.
[10.10.2023 06:19:36] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: So long as you don't earn yourself a trip to the brig, I'm all for it.
[10.10.2023 06:19:42] Vagrant.Psyche: "It was Our hope that communing with thee earlier might instill a notion of Our will."
[10.10.2023 06:19:50] Vagrant.Psyche: "That it does not bode ill."
[10.10.2023 06:19:53] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: ...can't guarantee that, but I'll try to be modest and polite.
[10.10.2023 06:20:00] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I'm not overfond of being mindfucked, Nomad.
[10.10.2023 06:20:15] Vagrant.Psyche: "The moment thou gave Us pause, gave Us a sign to exit, We relented."
[10.10.2023 06:20:43] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: You didn't exactly announce your presence with fanfare and trumpets.
[10.10.2023 06:20:55] Vagrant.Psyche: "Wouldst thou have been receptive with such aplomb?"
[10.10.2023 06:20:59] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Nope.
[10.10.2023 06:21:05] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Probably not.
[10.10.2023 06:21:10] Vagrant.Psyche: "Then such was Our course."
[10.10.2023 06:21:30] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Not a great support to the trust argument you were putting forward before.
[10.10.2023 06:21:43] A/)-Revenant: How long were you here, Nomad?
[10.10.2023 06:21:57] Vagrant.Psyche: "It is Our way of communication. If there exists another path, accomodation may be sought."
[10.10.2023 06:22:10] Vagrant.Psyche: "Not ere long."
[10.10.2023 06:22:13] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: That /other/ voice wasn't yours, Revenant. So long enough, I'd wager.
[10.10.2023 06:22:25] Vagrant.Psyche: "We wander across voids."
[10.10.2023 06:22:29] A/)-Revenant: You must have been the trace I picked up then.
[10.10.2023 06:22:41] Vagrant.Psyche: "A possibility."
[10.10.2023 06:22:54] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Ugh, that one picked up Urianger's manner of speech. It's mildly irritating.
[10.10.2023 06:23:12] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: lmao actually true though
[10.10.2023 06:23:30] Vagrant.Psyche: "We have come before thee as openly as We can without begging for destruction."
[10.10.2023 06:23:45] Vagrant.Psyche: "And Our posture, we attempt to make plain."
[10.10.2023 06:23:55] Vagrant.Psyche: "Make of it what thou wilt."
[10.10.2023 06:23:57] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: To be frank, when your kin begs for destruction - they come in larger forms and audible aggression.
[10.10.2023 06:24:16] Vagrant.Psyche: "Then thou knowest this is something else."
[10.10.2023 06:24:24] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Or, well... those /other/ Nomads.
[10.10.2023 06:24:31] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Not like you're visually distinct.
[10.10.2023 06:24:43] Vagrant.Psyche: "Our song marks our difference. Our forms are alike."
[10.10.2023 06:24:43] A/)-Revenant: Some distinctions.
[10.10.2023 06:24:51] A/)-Revenant: Subtle, but present.
[10.10.2023 06:24:58] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Some, but not enough for untrained eye.
[10.10.2023 06:25:02] A/)-Revenant: Likewise to those guardians who pose similarly to the Nomads.
[10.10.2023 06:25:42] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: technically I could justify it as "but I'm not on an ESRD shippy!" but yeah no lol
[10.10.2023 06:26:02] Vagrant.Psyche: "We beseech thee, regardless. To take these words, these offers of advisement and cooperation back. Of mutual interest."
[10.10.2023 06:26:06] 5th|Alex.Kingston: I've had so much stuff back-to-back I'm basically just foregoing the report at this point
[10.10.2023 06:26:14] Vagrant.Psyche: "And of a willingness to provide more than words."
[10.10.2023 06:26:17] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: honestly fair that you don't want to write a novella
[10.10.2023 06:26:22] Vagrant.Psyche: "For the sake of all the voids, we abide."
[10.10.2023 06:26:43] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: What would you suggest as a means to gain trust then, Nomad?
[10.10.2023 06:26:45] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: I don't take that decision easily but I'll pass it up along the chain. We're in charge of working with Earhart either way.
[10.10.2023 06:26:56] A/)-Revenant: [She tilts her head, curiosity instilled behind the mask]
[10.10.2023 06:26:57] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Seeing as you're so keen on cooperating
[10.10.2023 06:27:07] Vagrant.Psyche: "We do not know thy mind. And we do not wish to pry, as it would violate trust."
[10.10.2023 06:27:10] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: But decision's not mine to make, bear that in mind.
[10.10.2023 06:27:29] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I can almost guarantee you ESRD won't go for this, Nomad.
[10.10.2023 06:27:40] Vagrant.Psyche: "In Our view, what thou would know as -culture-, knowledge is precious. The highest virtue."
[10.10.2023 06:27:51] 5th|Alex.Kingston: R&D almost certainly wouldn't either.
[10.10.2023 06:28:01] A/)-Revenant: Somehow, I don't think Section Eight would appreciate it either.
[10.10.2023 06:28:04] Vagrant.Psyche: "Exchanging in knowledge, therefore, would be Our proposal."
[10.10.2023 06:28:14] A/)-Revenant: Scientists would ~love~ to hound on the possibility of studying something up close, what kind
[10.10.2023 06:28:17] A/)-Revenant: of scientists do you know?
[10.10.2023 06:28:30] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Hm.
[10.10.2023 06:28:39] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I know the kind that consider Nomads an existential threat, does that count?
[10.10.2023 06:28:45] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: I think that's exactly the kind of scientist I know.
[10.10.2023 06:28:54] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: But he's a little skittish and doesn't know me for too long.
[10.10.2023 06:29:24] Vagrant.Psyche: "We believe the exchange of known things to be a safe foundation."
[10.10.2023 06:29:41] Vagrant.Psyche: "With no requirement placed on the knowledge exchanged."
[10.10.2023 06:29:55] Vagrant.Psyche: "Merely that neither that comes forth to the confluence comes with something other knows."
[10.10.2023 06:30:00] Vagrant.Psyche: "All flourish in this exchange, then."
[10.10.2023 06:30:34] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: I'd say we'd be fools to deny /this/ offer, but... how much will actually share my opinion?
[10.10.2023 06:30:41] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Or even care for it, for that matter.
[10.10.2023 06:30:49] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I think you're very optimistic, Hvitrnott.
[10.10.2023 06:31:10] Vagrant.Psyche: "Thy knowledge may be useless to thee, but its novelty may offer new insight to Us. And such is the same in the other way."
[10.10.2023 06:31:16] A/)-Revenant: The Nomads can't do anything if you're in a group...
[10.10.2023 06:31:28] A/)-Revenant: Division, is what makes you vulnerable.
[10.10.2023 06:31:46] Vagrant.Psyche: "Thou hast beaten the Light before. Thou knowest what makest thee safe."
[10.10.2023 06:31:48] A/)-Revenant: What knowledge are you even going to offer up?
[10.10.2023 06:32:14] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Take my word for it - we have /something/ to bring to the table.
[10.10.2023 06:33:07] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Unrelated to Earhart, but to a system it allows passage to.
[10.10.2023 06:33:10] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I'm sure there's a great deal we could offer to the Nomad, but it won't be happening.
[10.10.2023 06:33:23] Vagrant.Psyche: "Even thy culture."
[10.10.2023 06:33:41] Vagrant.Psyche: "Knowing of what gives thee joy. Woe. What expressions exist within thy kin."
[10.10.2023 06:33:55] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: I prefer my enemy not to know me.
[10.10.2023 06:33:57] Vagrant.Psyche: "What beauty dost thou contribute to the universe?"
[10.10.2023 06:34:40] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Nobody says I contribute anything; I have a job to keep people safe, that's what I do.
[10.10.2023 06:34:57] Vagrant.Psyche: "This is contribution."
[10.10.2023 06:35:28] Vagrant.Psyche: "The Light before thee began as a bridge. An emissary. And now dreams and weaves creation from these dreams."
[10.10.2023 06:35:29] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Hardly beautiful.
[10.10.2023 06:35:56] A/)-Revenant: Does it have to be pompous?
[10.10.2023 06:36:10] A/)-Revenant: The most honest jobs, that provide, are usually the ones that are considered mundane.
[10.10.2023 06:36:11] Vagrant.Psyche: "All in a hive contribute. All in a hive work towards beauty."
[10.10.2023 06:36:28] Vagrant.Psyche: "Thou hast purpose."
[10.10.2023 06:36:28] A/)-Revenant: I don't think Humanity is comparable to a Hive....
[10.10.2023 06:36:48] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: ...that sounds like what fairies would do, minus the mischief.
[10.10.2023 06:36:54] 5th|Alex.Kingston: We aren't. That should be clear with how often we fight one another over simple things like land.
[10.10.2023 06:37:01] A/)-Revenant: ...well...
[10.10.2023 06:37:15] A/)-Revenant: [mutters] I suppose even ants fight over each other for being from different hives.
[10.10.2023 06:37:29] Vagrant.Psyche: "Conflict is endemic to the universe."
[10.10.2023 06:37:34] Vagrant.Psyche: "This is known."
[10.10.2023 06:37:50] Vagrant.Psyche: "Even particles clash."
[10.10.2023 06:37:50] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: For once you say something that makes sense
[10.10.2023 06:38:00] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: To be entirely honest, conflict was the prime reason man left Sol.
[10.10.2023 06:38:19] Vagrant.Psyche: "What drove thee from thy home, lost children of Sol?"
[10.10.2023 06:38:21] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: And it's not like history isn't stained in blood and reeks of ash and smoke.
[10.10.2023 06:38:27] A/)-Revenant: Made me wonder why the colonies never went back to Sol.
[10.10.2023 06:38:34] 5th|Alex.Kingston: Hell, the first thing I hear of out of that new place is conflict.
[10.10.2023 06:38:37] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Doubt the Coalition just stopped existing.
[10.10.2023 06:38:37] A/)-Revenant: Our technology is vastly more superior than it was before.
[10.10.2023 06:38:40] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Is there anything to come back to?
[10.10.2023 06:38:42] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: They'd probably have a welcoming party.
[10.10.2023 06:38:48] A/)-Revenant: I don't think Sol could compete to our technology.
[10.10.2023 06:39:06] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: It's a lot of effort for very little gain based on information that may or may not be accurate
[10.10.2023 06:39:17] A/)-Revenant: You'd rather forget the roots of Humanity?
[10.10.2023 06:39:29] 5th|Alex.Kingston: We may not have a choice in the matter.
[10.10.2023 06:39:31] Vagrant.Psyche: (Interest.)
[10.10.2023 06:39:33] A/)-Revenant: I think it's important to remember where we came from.
[10.10.2023 06:39:36] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: And with so many resources poured into a potentially fruitless affair...
[10.10.2023 06:39:47] A/)-Revenant: Jump technology has advanced rapidly.
[10.10.2023 06:39:54] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Are you really gonna lecture me on where we came from when you're half made of metal?
[10.10.2023 06:39:57] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: ...we have to keep too many belligerents at bay. Same is true for every House.
[10.10.2023 06:40:01] A/)-Revenant: You assume too much.
[10.10.2023 06:40:13] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Uh-huh.
[10.10.2023 06:40:24] A/)-Revenant: Cruise technology could make the trip far easier, but Humanity itself will always continue to fight amongst itself.
[10.10.2023 06:40:45] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: You are making a relevant point. We shouldn't forget our roots.
[10.10.2023 06:40:58] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: But should we return there if all it brings will be more fighting?
[10.10.2023 06:41:11] A/)-Revenant: Fighting is just inevitable with Humanity.
[10.10.2023 06:41:11] Vagrant.Psyche: "To remember is one act. To return is another."
[10.10.2023 06:41:27] Vagrant.Psyche: "One remembers the past, but cannot return to it."

[10.10.2023 06:41:40] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: But if it can be prevented - shouldn't we take the opportunity and do that instead?
[10.10.2023 06:41:50] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Too many don't, if you ask me.
[10.10.2023 06:42:05] A/)-Revenant: Do you think that fighting has helped Humanity? Or made it worse?
[10.10.2023 06:42:18] A/)-Revenant: The innate desire to compete, to constantly outgrow each other...
[10.10.2023 06:42:38] A/)-Revenant: Or is it so blind with greed and hatred that they have failed to see that they are slowly destroying themselves and everything

[10.10.2023 06:44:58] [LN]-Lillian.Olson: Didn't say they were evil. Said they were traitors. There's a difference.
[10.10.2023 06:45:14] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Becoming 'evil' is just defying a part of themselves to bring about the change they believe is needed.

[10.10.2023 06:48:50] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: I see you're conveniently more acquainted with it that I've expected.
[10.10.2023 06:48:57] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: Good. Spares me the explanations.
[10.10.2023 06:49:08] A/)-Revenant: Eh. not really.
[10.10.2023 06:49:20] A/)-Revenant: Your assumption, I'm making use of their interest to chat.

[10.10.2023 06:51:04] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: I'll follow Olson's suite and RTB... for now. Kingston, don't loom around alone for too long.
[10.10.2023 06:51:15] Vagrant.Psyche: "Stars keep thee."
[10.10.2023 06:51:23] 46th|TFA-Hvitrnott: You as well.
[10.10.2023 06:51:50] A/)-Revenant: Well, quite typical that the scent was just you, Nomad.
I just spent an hour and ten minutes of my time listening to logs where you along with officers of the Fifth and Commander Olson of the First speak to Revenant and seemingly refer to some other Nomad lifeform in the vicinity. I've got many questions as to why the lifeform wasn't shot and was instead seemingly let to leave, but I trust they'll be answered once you give me your actual report on what you witnessed yesterday.

Captain Summers,
I have recieved word from the Duty Officer at Norfolk that the Bretonian Crecy-class, Gibraltar, was released today.
On return on the vessel, which appeared to have suffered quite severe damage and is currently undergoing repairs - to which no report has been filed by yourself. The flight log and onboard systems appear to have been flown within the Kansas system.
With the former Kansas campaign having come to it's inevitable conclusion in the last year, and all assets long ordered home, I'd be interested as to why you have done so without authorization.
You are hereby placed on notice and preliminarily found in breach of the Fleet's Code of Conduct, with trial pending. Details of which and specific charges will be presented to you in the coming days.
That will be all, for now.

ADMIRALS EYES ONLY
Good Day Admiral
I have thought long about how I shall answer you but I think I make it simple. I received an Emergency Call from a Station in the Kansas System and the Notice that other Elements of the Liberty Fleet would already be Dispatched to the system, and were in need of Reinforcement. So I did what I thought was my duty and set course to also help the Station and our Allies.
The Crew of the Gibraltar Fought bravely, as did our Allies, but in the end we were outnumbered by Zoner and Technocrat Forces. So I did what had to be done and ordered the Retreat of the Gibraltar. The ship needs Repairs which is True and as her Capitan, I take responsibility for that. Even when the Larger Operations in Kansas have ended with the end of the Insurgency, it is still our Space and should be protected by us.
I once left the BAF and joined the 46th Fleet because I thought that the 46th would Protect the People of Liberty at all Costs. That the Fleet would be different from the Operational Standard of the Bretonian Armed Forces only Protecting the Wealthy and powerful. I hope I am not wrong about this.
But should I Indeed have the Wrong Impression of the 46th Fleet then I Ask you to only Punish me and Accept my Resignation as a captain of the 46th Navy. I will Never again allow the Orders of Admirals to Lead to the suffering of Civilians. I will never Ignore a Call for help from a Civilian. If you want to know where orders like this Lead to then please be my Guest and Visit the Remains of Leeds with me.
Lady Camile Summers
