The discovery of [REDACTED] systems from the subspace nexus known as Earhart has given the Büro with new materials with which to work on new prototype technologies, though reports from other sources suggest that organizations across Sirius have began eyeing on the same materials, prompting us to tighten security in our expeditions, in case they prove to be detrimental in the future. Currently, our expeditions have identified at least four exotic materials, of which three breakthrough materials have been subsequently synthesized. Furthermore, the months of research funding being poured has yielded numerous successful prototypes such as the "UNTERGANG" gunboat turret, with more of them expected to be made within the next year.
As part of Direktor Viper's Research and Development division, continuous work is being made within AESIR Facility with the help of an intelligent prototype AI known as "WEISE", built a month ago to assist with the handling and utilization of these exotic materials. I have been assigned to oversee Wing C, which focuses on handling cryo-organisms. Below is a list containing all of the exotic materials and their derived products.
CHIRODEBRIS: These materials, found within the radiation field of the Earhart system, exhibit an opposite chirality compared to almost all other minerals found within the Sirius Sector. They emit considerable amounts of delta radiation. The primary danger when extracting chirodebris are the turrets surrounding Earhart's center, which are fast and powerful, but cannot dent the large, floating debris, allowing them to be used as cover. Chirodebris can be synthesized to produce chiromaterials.
CHIROMATERIALS: Synthesized primarily from chirodebris, these materials have the same properties as chirodebris. While hazardous to handle directly, necessitating hermetically-sealed containers, its radioactive properties make it useful for electromagnetic applications, unmatched by any known ordinary material, enabling a lot of potential for them to be used in future technologies.
PROTOTYPE COMPONENTS: These prototypes contain state-of-the-art technologies. Using high-quality, military-grade materials, a wide variety of these components can be made, of which some of them are still unknown. Currently, AESIR Facility's Wing B is studying these unidentified varieties.
ORGANIC CAPACITORS: These alien organisms, compared to others, possess a unique physiology that allows them to store large amounts of energy and disperse all of them. Recent research has concluded that the unique behavior of such organisms allows for the utilization of more efficient capacitors compared to present-day Sirian models.
CRYO-ORGANISMS: One unique property of these organisms is its entirely endothermic biological process. They absorb heat, cooling the surrounding area, making them an effective coolant. There is a wide range of applications, and AESIR Facility's Wing C is utilizing them in its next-generation prototype weapons following the success of "UNTERGANG".
CERULITE CRYSTALS: These are crystallic structures exhibiting quasiperiodic patterns, known as quasicrystals. As a result, they are highly reflective compared to ordinary materials. The development of experimental lattices containing these crystals are currently being done at Wing D.
REFLECTIVE LATTICES: Made of the same quasiperiodic structure as cerulite crystals, these highly reflective lattices are synthesized from quasicrystals. Possible new technologies utilizing reflective lattices include more efficient solar panels and reflection chambers.
