Two decades ago, Digital Anvil worked on Freelancer, trying to create an immersive sci-fi epic with star voice actors, tons of lore full of ambiguity and dystopic ideals clashing over the same few systems for hundreds of years. Little did they know, Igiss would develop a mod for this game where you can not only experience the world of Freelancer after the main story, but also become part of the factions within.
Decades passed.
