I hope this transmission finds you well. It has been quite some time since I last had the honor of speaking with you and I have heard you are active again. I do not know who your current leadership is but would like the opportunity to speak with you all. We were once allowed planetside to your world of Gaia to research some medicines from natural fauna there. We would like to continue with your blessings. No fauna will be harmed and any medicines we find and/or create will be shared with you.

We have some thing in common as well. Neither of us have a liking of the Bretonian Crown and we recognize the Edinburgh system as Gaian space. We have stayed away from your space out of respect. If we are allowed to visit, it will be with small craft and nothing larger than my own transport. If you need it, I can bring goods with me for you. For now, it is all we have to offer as we are non-profit and invest our time in medicine, science and research.

Yes, I am scratching the surface here but would like to improve relations. We have a hospital in Omega 3 if you require services or I can have a hospital ship visit if need be. Let us know what you think.

Welcome Doc Holliday.

We read your request with a little consternation as our Gaians) cell had no idea of the fact that third parties had been given permission to land on the surface of Gaia in the past. After a search of the Islay Base database, we discovered that our predecessors had indeed given limited permission to land and collect samples for medical testing. The report included, among other things, information about the branch cutting and resin collection and the protection assigned to you at the time.

While we can accede to your request, unfortunately, due to the fact that other members of the Gaian movement years ago used bio-weapons on the surface of Gaia to remove the occupants, we must require the use of BSL-4 class Bio Hazard suits by you while on the planet, for the safety of all expedition members, and thorough disinfection of the suits prior to landing (so as not to bring danger to the planetary flora and fauna and upon your return on board.

We would also like precise information on what samples will be taken, will it be just branches and resin as last time, or will other samples be taken, for example snake venoms?

Thank you for promising to deliver the promised medicines as in the past. In addition, we only ask that you grant docking permissions for all members of the Gaians) movement to your medical station and the exact coordinates of its location. No additional goods are currently needed for us.

Good Morning, Archcaptain,

Please excuse my delayed response. The use of suits will not be a problem. Yes, it would be plant resins and such from branches, roots and so forth and even animal secretions such as venoms, pheromones' and so forth. As stated before, perhaps your people would like to join us in this. Gaia is, after all, your planet and we respect both.

I did send a scout ship through and noticed that there is no real place for us to set up a small lab. There was mention of an old base outside the planet but it looks pretty abandoned. Would you have an objection in sending one of our hospital ships, a Corvo cruiser, as a base to that we have some labs at our disposal or do you have other ideas? I just want to respect your people, laws and Gaia herself.

I understand that you are a busy man, after all saving human lives must be hard and time consuming, hence the delay in communication you mention. We can agree to take these samples, the base you mention is probably the closed Fort Monach. It is currently impossible to dock to it, but it can be used to stabilise in Gaia's orbit.

I do have a question though, what about granting 'Gaians)' ships docking rights at your base in Omega-3?
