I like you guys raiding Gamma, I just think you should do it in coordination with TBH/OPG leaders, so it can actually be fun.
Like this, it usually ends up with me + 4 indies fighting against 8-9 of you, which isn't fun.
I'm all for it, it just needs to be a bit more balanced. That's about it.

I can say in their defense that when I followed along to help on one of those Gamma raids on my indie Outcast, they told me not to engage because the Corsairs were outnumbered, and they only called me back after the Corsairs got an actual defense ready.
They still seemed to outnumber the Corsairs though.
@ chopper, more times than no chopper i pm a TBH/OPG/Benitez telling them were coming, if i look at gamma and find them to not match our numbers or anywhere near it i ALWAYS tell them or give them warning, also most times than no, we never run in without uttering a word, which i see alot from corsairs..... though i dont mind cause there is surprise attacks, i just like to have a bit of banter before we fight.
though then again i would really like the same in return from the corsairs.... the "junkie" word and shut up and fight thing is getting old a nice little response better than calling Lohingren (doesnt take cardi) a junkie constantly.... it gets old.
though like i said we usually always attack with prior warning, maybe 10-15 mins if need be or just before we set out toward gamma, now also a point id like to make is more often than not everytime we raid its usually with all [RoS] dont get me wrong if i find there to be to many people in gamma for us to handle wel invite people along etc, but more often than not we start off with a full RoS force, yes sometimes we outnumber people i will not deny that, but im not prepared to tell members to stay behind because they came in to late when they are looking to have some fun with us, and like thexare said, we tend to tell most people to leave if they try and hop into our fights if we find we dont need it, or find it to be a equal battle, only when we truly do need it do we let others into a battle.
hope that clears it up for you
EDIT: feel free to keep the suggestions/critique coming folks more the merrier
Well, you do call us cannibals as well, but I don't eat people.:P
I call all Outcasts addicts, not junkies. I call Junkers - junkies.
Anyway, I might have gotten the wrong impression. If yes, I apologize.
But it's much more fun like that day when I was in Praetorian, Ivan.Voronov in Taiidan etc, it was a huge fight.
Compared to the other were it was mjolnir, me + 3 indies against 8 of you, first one takes the prize.
I think it was much more fun for you too.
Other then that, it's all cool. Like seeing you active.

twas alot more satisfying indeed chopper, but then again that fight when you and mjolnir ran .... it wasnt so one sided as you say, in terms of skill yes it was lop sided but not numbers
Corsair side has 7, RoS side had 8.
but yes your right about the other fight with you in your bomber etc, it was a very satisfying battle, not just cause we won but against the odds in ways after it took half our team to die until we started doing any good.
oh yes actually thats a good example that battle was one of the ones i told a TBH that we where coming (globalo i think it was)
and the other battle that you and mjolnir ran, i told lucendez that time. but yes it was a lop sided battle but not in terms of numbers.... for the only 2 people who stood a chance where you 2

Instead of coming directly to Crete to raid the Corsairs, as I have seen in the past, why not contact the Corsairs and engage in a brawl in the Sigmas? It would be a nice change to the rather consistent raids on Crete, and the Sigmas are supposedly a large warzone, but it never gets much action aside from the Diamond-Niobium runners...
Thanks.
And Epyon's reply, in case you were wondering:
' Wrote:And that's actually a really good idea, Baconsoda, I've been sort of wondering about that whenever my trader comes through Sigma these days. You'd have to get the Corsairs to agree to something like that as well, of course, and the RoS, but why not try and make a planned event out of it, like we did with the old Eta fights? Might make life much more interesting in that area.
Just a suggestion.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
hell im up for that, maybe one in 19 and one in 17, winner could get a base or something put in there. im all for it indeed.
or maybe a series of events maybe 3 in each(best out of 3) i wouldnt suggest dragging it on for to long though, the eta fights started to become rather tedious and annoying after a while for everyone really.
I have not been playing all that long and in the beginning when the SOB first started out we had some misunderstandings and things got a little strained between us. All that aside though i have really enjoyed learning from the RoS once we came to understand each other they have been helpful with training and tips on arming our ships as well as helping out with invaders or inviting us along on raids if extra pilots are needed. All in all i would have to say they are a very good faction and probably a good example of what a faction is and how one should be run.
Lucendez was nowhere near that fight if i recall. There was 1, or 2 Benitez, 1 or 2 indies, mjolnir and me.
You had 8. It was close, but not even.;)Though if those indies knew their job, it'd be interesting.
Anywayz, I'd like those fights in Sigmas. I kinda miss those Eta fights, it was sooooo fun.
It brought a lot of people online, and those were the biggest fights on disco for certainly.

The thing about raiding Gamma is; you can't really guage what the Corsairs will bring to defense.
Say we start our journey when there are 2 people in Gamma with a force of 3 bombers and 6 fighters. By the time we get there it can easily be 4 Titans, 2 Pratorians, 5 Lunchboxes, 4 Cruisers and an Osiris against us. Othertimes nobody shows up and we get to Gamma and go home.
And yes, we try to message a leader in a clan to let them know what's going on.
