Gotta let you know now, before the patch hits, that our good ol' Hegemons are getting a rework.
Now, part of this rework is that their cargo capacity is getting reduced from 10,000 to 5,000. I know a lot of you will have mixed feelings about this, which is fine. There is a reason I am announcing this here ahead of time of the patch.
For those of you who are using Hegemons as equipment banks, please buy extras and spread your items across the ships. We encourage those who have loads of goods to reduce any cargo capacities to under 5,000 units to prevent any issues when the patch releases. To save us some trouble and you losing hair getting frustrated later on, please do sort out as much as you can before the changes hit.
For some context, here's our main man @Haste telling us about the changes:

The Asteroid Miner (Hegemon) will have its cargo space reduced to 5,000 from 10,000 in the upcoming 5.2 patch. Instead, it will only require 1 cargo space for ore-type commodities, instead of the usual two. We very strongly recommend moving cargo off of "mule" Asteroid Miner characters, up to a limit of 5,000 space.
It bears mentioning that having any cruiser or BC turrets mounted on your Heges also affects the available cargo space.
So, having only 5k cargo aboard with these guns mounted will still put you over 5000 total.
