Herr McKenzie,
I am reaching out to you with the aim of assessing the feasibility of two separate projects with your organization.
Firstly, we would like to contract your engineering department to assist in the refurbishment and aftermarket tuning of a heavy scanner and deep telemetry array as part of an ongoing exploratory vessel refit effort. All necessary parts, equipment, and reagents can be arranged for on our end - save for any specialty equipment that your engineering team may require.
Secondly, the Director wishes to open a research collaboration with your organization with regards to the exploration of the anomaly known as 'Earhart.' In the past, we have encountered your vessels in Thuringia to some purely avoidable unpleasantries - we are willing to open access to you in return for a datasharing agreement and the future possibilities of outsourcing some requested experiments.
This channel will remain open, we await your reply.

Oh yay, Earhart stuff again. Pretty sure I'm falling behind on getting some stuff done there, but hey, guess I'm the ONLY one doing it. Happy to do some exploration stuff, though I ain't one for research shit. Let's leave that to the powers and people that care about that stuff.
Now, what do you want with us and Earhart, mister Christof?

Herr Kennedy,
I appreciate your prompt response.
Our earhart operations have been quite limited to small scale resource extraction due to survey and research efforts elsewhere which is consuming most of our capacity. Given your organizational proclivities for surveying Earhart, we'd like to sponsor your efforts in exchange for recurring up-to-date mapping data in exchange for passage permissions through to the Thuringia anomaly. We would also like to reserve the right to request more in-depth surveys of regions of interest as they appear - for additional compensation, of course.
There is also the matter of the Telemetry array that we would like to have tuned with your assistance.

So what you want daily updates? Mapping of whatever system is open for the hour? Make it specific so I know what to do out there. Funny thing, I did give an authorization code 8008135 to that Military guy, seems it didn't get passed along to you guys. I did make it up at the time, so I'm not surprised whatsoever. Oh well. Maybe this is my time to get a proper code!
The research people will get on top this once I know what I'm doing. So get your shit together and tell me straight.

Herr Kennedy,
Just a guarantee of continued access to your regular updates should be good enough at this time.
'The military guy' was instructed not to destroy your ship so as to not cause any unfortunate misunderstandings - something I hope we can resolve with a proper arrangement.

Well at least I have a regular something to do. Tell me again where this Anomaly is, can't be bothered looking over our own logs. Oh, and I can't guarantee it will be consistent. I sleep at odd hours and sometimes I like to not do the jobs the guys upstairs like assigning me. Simply flying around is fun too without having obligations or strings attached.
If you're after a proper arrangement with us, then at least give me a passage code that I don't have to make up. If 8008135 is available, I'll take it. Once this is done, I'll pass this little message over to a person who takes care of the stuff I don't touch. Ever.
