Well, if igiss allows a super-small bomber that can throw on double razors, maybe you will =P

There's already a precedent - the catamaran/red catamaran bombers. However, both of those are still fully capable of being shot down by fighters that dont try to joust (really, jousting ANY bomber is plain suicide), and the cats also have more firepower than I'm pushing for this ship to have - four class 10 guns and a power core that supports constant fire of those weapons without draining energy.
Like I said, specific stats can be reworked - we can give it 2 forward firing guns plus torpedo tubes, and nothing else (rear firing turret, of course - but that's pretty much useless anyways). We can make it turn slower than the cat/redcat due to having larger mass (more cargo space, which symbolizes most junker vessels).
Just because a ship is small doesnt mean it's going to rape everything it comes across. There's plenty of people flying arrows, liberators, vipers, catamarans, etc. - they're all very small ships with fairly decent manuverability, and while they're not 'easy' kills they arent invincible either.

Hence the cat getting a very strong nerf, because it's a exceptionally potent vessel that does -not- die easily, Tenacity.
I'll give you the best stats you could possibly aim for with that ship:
2 class 8, 4 class 9. Torp. Mine Launcher. Thruster. Class 9 HF shield.
A lovely HF to supplement the lack of such a vessel in the Junker inventory.
When it comes to balancing ships out having your proverbial cake followed by its utter consumption results in ships like the BHBC, Red Cat, Nomad Light Fighter and other vessels that are hands above the best of the best in their field. What you're doing with your bomber is taking a ship type that people have been working to make less effective against fighters and revamping it to only be effective against fighters.
Because, really, once you compare a 'bomber' favorable to the Liberator you have design issues.

Quite frankly, heavy fighters are useless. They're a middle of the road ship class that lacks the firepower of a VHF or the manuverability of a LF, there's a reason nobody uses them.

Make some that are actually worth using, that actually are the middle-of-the road, and they might get used. The Crow would work well if it wasn't for the hitbox, and the Blood Dragon's quite popular, but other than that, they're all either slightly weaker VHFs without any advantages (Centurion) or just a few weapon levels short of being good (Stiletto, Death Scythe).
I use the Kiith Somtaaw Heavy Fighter for my Hunter Directive character. I actually quite like it. 4 Class 10 mounts and 2 Class 8, not at all bad. It can turn reasonably well too so that helps. All in all a good ship. Now I just need to find a fight where i'm not outnumbered 3 to 1:rolleyes:Anyway, prefer it for the RP value of it.
Lower the prive of Nova torpedos, get rid of the Supernova and let everyone use the Nova's. Perhaps 2 Class 9 weapons and 2 Torpedos for this?
