Those are usually people on 'trial' for joining the keepers. There is no available nomad ID if you're not already a member of the keepers, so the light fighter + pirate ID is used to signify a nomad.

Sorry i didnt know that thank you
Ive had enough of disco for now. I might be back at the next mod release.
I wouldnt really have a problem with the no/tag, it should match your ship type, but if you want full indie status then go for it I think. At the end of the day your ship and ID still give an indication as to what you are.
It's going to be hard maintaining no tag unless you never kill NPC's. Note if you do do this and you get in a fight with people, you must must make yourself hostile to the locals, you cant attack a LN at Missouri and not have the local NPC's attack you or attack the Order at toledo and not make the locals hostile.
I suppose on reflection, if you intend to RP a pirate with no tag you must at least make sure your rep is fixed so that the local law attack you.

hard to make that happen without becoming friendly (i.e. tagged) with a criminal group.
Remaining nuetral to all or most factions would be ideal I think, and just keep your activities in non-house space (as i mentioned a couple posts ago) - that way you dont have to deal with "the local law" because there isnt any.
Killing factions makes their rep plummet (killing 20 gets most ruby red from almost green) and only slowly bumps up the rep of their enemies. It isn't hard, in SP I had to kill about 100 LN and LPI to get my Rogue rep to neutral, while the LN and LPI were shooting me on sight after 15 kills on each.
9.8k and you can read a loadout. Switch to Target view on the left pane, and subtarget.

Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

ok, I'm gonna take Tenacity's advice. I already made myself hostile with 2 trader and the BH faction. Since i didn't commit any crime in any house space i think it makes it logical to have a bounty on my head but still retain a "clean" record. im neutral to all other factions as far as i know.
