No thats not correct, Junkers are a quasi legal faction and are permitted to dock on house planets, unless you catch a Junker in the act of a crime you should not be just engaging them. As for a Junker tagged/Trader ID char, well I understand peoples frustration with others using a generic tag to "loophole" their way out of role-play, but I do not expect you to demand a 10 million tax, just so it can be refused and you can blow it up, thats PVP abuse, make a resonable demand please.
The generic ID's should be removed from the game IMO. It' just a way to loop hole your way into flying around all of Sirus in the ship of your choice.

Absolutley agree here. Junkers SHOULD NEVER be engaged just because they're junkers, except possibly in Kusari.
' Wrote:the "right" to attack shouldn't necessarily mean Shot On Site...
And what would be your analysis for SmugglerID (of course with Junker tag)?
Cheers,
Jane
the "right" means it is up to the BH to decide wether to shoot on sight or not. As for the smuggler ID, the Admins have clearly stated that the Smuggler ID should be viewed exactly as the Trader ID, which means if you have no contraband, BH's cant attack you. But I think the Junker tag/Trader-Smuggler ID is LAME.
' Wrote:You are infact wrong. Junkers are pirates by the rules of this game, I will show you for a second time the Junker ID
The most important part is where it says Junker ID grants the owner the right ot scan other ships and demand cargo. That means they are pirates.
WRONG. This is your opinion not fact.
' Wrote:None of that matters, if you are using the Junker ID, bounty hunters have the right to attack you.
WRONG yet again. Just an opinion.
Look at what spear said I am not in fact wrong. You might want to check your facts before you spout out stuff. Junkers are Quasi Legal just like Zoners.
All house governments attack Pirates on sight. They do not attack Junkers unless they do something wrong.
' Wrote:If you are using a trader ID, you are the one who is being shady. Come to Kusari with a Junker tag/trader ID I will be demanding 10 million credits not to blow you up, so as to be in compliance with the rules. You want to be a junker, use a junker ID. I am tired of junker tagged players with a trader or smuggler ID telling me I have no business stopping them in Kusari. If I find you with a trader-smuggler ID/ junker tag, I will make a demand, but you wont want to pay it, so you will be destroyed.
Yes, you are within the rules, but don't you think you are exploiting them just a little. Pirates are not allowed to destroy ships simply for the fun of it, they must demand cargo or money. You have now come up with a way for a pirate to legally act like a terrorist, just create a demand to which NO ONE will agree. How about a little RP? If you want to act that way, buy a BH battle Cruiser and become a cap whore with the rest of them.

I do not see this as PVP abuse, because a junker would be shot on sight, I am compensating for the RP abuse that goes on by this tag ID combo. The RP abuse is trying to make me ignore my factions RP, which is that Junkers are Kill on Sight.

I think the people who are exploiting the rules ar the ones using the Junker tag and trader ID and flying through Kusari without a care in the world. What is a reasonable tax amount? 5 million, 2 million? Who is to say what is reasonable?
As to the Junkers being pirates. It is not my opinion, it is what the Junker ID says. Just because you dont like what the ID says, doesnt change the fact that Junkers can pirate, which makes them PIRATES. Junkers are not like the Zoners, Zoners are not allowed to pirate, so the comparison is moot.
Seems to me someone has a thing against Junkers. :P
Anyway. The fact remains is a BH cannot shoot a Junker on sight unless they have a bounty on their head. If the Junker is smuggling both the Police and the BH should demand the cargo and the law can impose a fine for smuggling.
Hogosha and Xenos can shoot Junkers on sight because they are enemies.
Some people have a Junker IFF and smuggler ID becuase they bribe Junkers to get nuetral with the criminals but don't pay attention to the fact that they are green with Junkers.
No Junker ID not a Junker in my opinion. (RP can override this however.)
Zelot says: As to the Junkers being pirates. It is not my opinion, it is what the Junker ID says. The comparison is not moot. They are both Quasi legal did you read that part? I guess not. Not all Junkers are pirates. Im not a pirate just because I can demand cargo. Get over it already.
