We know in which direction Earth is from Sirius, following the track of Hispania sleeper ship. Obviously, Earth should be in the direction of Crete.
One of the Kusari rumors say that people come to Kusari to see Sirius. While there's no such star in the actual game, it can be presumed that Sirius is somewhere in Kusari, perhaps in a system not present in-game ("empty" system).
However, Kusari is quite a long route from Crete. And Sirius is one of the closest stars from Earth. Since it's apparent that "Sirius sector" is much more than stars marked on the map (multiple stars without planets, unexplored, containing no jump holes etc), I'd rather say that Sirius is not present in the area of Freelancer map at all. It may indicate a direction where sleeper ships were going, but not much more.
EDIT: Forget what I said. I think Igiss is right about this.
Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits
Pretty good, but the eight sleeper ship bit is kinda debatable. Praetyre has convinced me that only five sleeper ships launched.
Perhaps you should put that under "Discovery Introduction" instead of "Miscellaneous."

Maybe you don't know that Zane is an italian surname (example: my mother)... people who wrote about names just forgot immigration... USA itself is full of people arrived from all over the world in the u.s. over the years... so i think that Jun'ko Zane can be an unusual descendant of libertonian with italian ancestors and kusari japanese.
Still it's strange that outcasts have italian nouns... I've never heard about italians emigrated to Spain, so there's something wrong or strange. We can assume that some people decided to embark with other sleeper ships, or that the great war forced people to move... but it's a bit hard to accept.
