Subject: Disbanding of the Junker's Union
<Begin Message>
The Junker's Union was initially created as an organization out of Bornholme with the goal of bringing the area under secure junker control. Non junkers from all corners of Sirius were scouring the field, frequent collisions between salvage craft were reported due to wreckless behavior of those involved, and constant firefights between opposing groups within the field over salvage rights broke out.
The station was in a state of near critical failure when I arrived with the intent of starting an official salvage operation to fund various groups around Sirius. Myself, aboard the Firefly-Class transport Tenacity, along with several other junker-loyal volunteers and some measure of assistance from the Harvesters, went to work cleaning up the Bornholme Debris field of it's unwanted.
We destroyed hessians and corsairs alike, Rheinland Military, even liberty operatives in the area. We were forced to run out and in some situations destroy non junkers who attempted to salvage the field, and posed an imminent danger to the true scrap collectors of the station.
It took months of work to rebuild Bornholme, and that work still lies unfinished. Several of Bornholme's lower decks remain open to the vacuum of space, graveyard decks that remind us daily of the bloodied firefights between the hessians and corsairs in the area.
Eventually we were successful - we cleaned out the troublemakers and rallied the Junkers of omega 15 into a solid, organized force. Rules and Regulations were set in order to make salvage operations safer for Junkers of the Union. We openly denied contraband and piracy from the station and union members in an attempt to gain the trust of the Rheinland Military, so that we might spare ourselves from being vaporized if they chose to wipe us out.
But what's it all been for? The Congress sending their people out to wrest control, the local forces turning against us because we would no longer supply them with drugs to alleviate their pathetic lives? All out attacks from bounty hunter fleets, openly defying our position as a lawful entity?
Our success was, unfortunately, shortlived. It pains me to have to disband the Union and leave so many of it's members hanging with no work, no security, and no support from the Union guard. It isnt something I wish to do, but it must be done, or the conflicts that have sprung up onboard rheinland junker stations will cripple our presence there entirely.
I am splitting the profits of the Union between it's few remaining members. With my share, I plan to mount a salvage operation to recover my prior ship, the Tenacity, from the dark matter clouds of texas she was consumed by. The Union Guardship Midgard will be dismantled one the operation is complete, and it's parts used to rebuild the damaged systems of the Tenacity.
For now, I suggest that all union members look towards the Junker's Congress - however distasteful they may be - for a new family. I will be returning to freelance work for myself.
Signing out for the last time... Junker's Union Head Christopher Thorn.
Just because the Congress don't accept your claim that you own Bornholm (or any other Junker base) does not mean that anybody would question your RP, ideas etc really.
//For me the only problem was the way you communicated your claims.
The Congress have a senior member at all Junker bases as a kind of ambassador. They do not exclusively "run the place". I think the only wish was that the JU should have a similar attitude...
//The junker congress' actions were only a small part of the reason I'm disbanding the group. Leading factions just isnt my thing - I work much better on my own, without restrictions; it's why I became a junker to begin with. I was not only restricting myself to rheinland space, but I was also restricting myself from trading any contraband - both things that severely hurt my ability to have fun here.
//The whole draw I have to being a junker is being able to go anywhere, do anything, without restrictions - It's time I get back to that, and I cant do it while running a faction. Not only that, but I only had half a dozen players in the JU anyways, nobody wants to join a faction that bases itself off of a mining system which has been wrecked by the anti-cheat software.

The unemployed workers are part of the disastrous and heavy handed policies that were enacted by the Union which resulted in a corresponding loss of business. The Congress also did not seek to "wrest control" of Bornholm away from you--we merely refused to acquiesce to your demands and comply with your mandates.
No actions will be taken against any workers of the former Junker's Union and we wish them the best. Work will be opened up for all who wish it as we have begun a rather large project there ourselves.
All members of the Junker's union will of course still retain voting rights in our upcoming session of the Congress and we hope they will use their votes in place of guns to make their wishes known. Junker Thorn is invited wholeheartedly to continue political organization and lobbying for Congressional votes.

At what point of time was there a direct attack targetting Junkers or the station directly.
The only fleet operations that I am aware of were strike groups sent to rid the area of Harvesters.
There was only ONE time that a fleet was organized and sent to that station, and contrary to what you would want to believe, it was for a photo shoot. Now if there were independents shooting at you, I suggest you take it up with them until a Bounty Hunter Council can be formed. Until then, you get to deal with the fustration just as much as everyone else, including other BH.

True, but some Junkers think they are junkier, than others. The day Junkers will be regulated by dictatorship is the end of Junker movement.
Mr Thorn better applies at a position within Daumann. Thats the right place for a dictator. There he can commandeer and subpress the poor workers and distract the tiny remaining freedom to full dictatorship.
I did work at Bornholm, when the JU was still a mystery shadow in drunken brains. I have never seen any situations Mr Thorn was speaking about. Everything was going fine. Maybe your subpressions caused the troubles.
Oh and for your interest, Rheinland "Junker" are calling themself "Schrottie" (pronounced Shrottee), but how a libertonian or bretonian import, only concerned about himself, could be aware of.
And i thought i would never ever get an imagination what "enemy" does mean.

//time to nerf scrap price at Bornholm to Kreuzberg level, cause it was the only reason for JU to claim to be rulers of Bornholm and to exclude anyone else. cheap
I never 'suppressed' anyone at kreuzberg or bornholme. It's really a shame how you ****in losers can ignore the posts upon posts of RP I had up here for the group now that I've disbanded it. Here's a tip: if you dont know what the hell you're talking about, dont open your mouth.

The JU was created AFTER the scrap mining there was killed by FLhook. The whole "cleanup process" I refer to occured months before, when I was working on a joint RP between the harvesters and 522nd.
Again, if you dont know what you're talking about, it's best to keep your mouth shut, or you end up looking like an idiot.
