No ... I believe that was a Black_Pearl ... my ship is Black.Pearl. Note the difference ... I've got a dot between words ... the other guy has a _. And I haven't seen THAT Black Pearl online ever.

My Black Pearl remains in Sigma 13 for the most part. Now and then he may follow a trader or two outside Sigma 13 ... but 90% of the time he's in Sigma 13. And he is QUITE red with Rheinland.

It's not a flame thrower. I've got one of that ship sitting off the ring, pirating, not a shot being fired by NPC's, another of it pirateing the TL's between NB and the Sig13 JH and although I don't know if the screenie shows it, the TL's were not shooting him.

I'll see if I can find them. It may take a couple days as that computer is down at the moment.

If you were never pirating in NB neutral to rhiendland a month or two ago than it can't be you and it must be some other black pearl.

1. Being in Rheinland space does not make me friendly with Rheinland ... and the screen you provide shows me chasing Pogo from the Sigma 13 jump hole to the trade lanes ... pretty much all you see there are Wild

2. Generic Pirate ID = no tag (role play)

3. There's no such thing as Pirate Turrets and with regard to turrets ... very few choices But Order and Zoner are NOT hostile toward pirates ... if you recall ... Order are friends with Corsairs

4. Take a look at the screen I provided ... you'll see there's LOTS of red on my screen

5. IF and ONLY IF you have any screens of me hanging out above New Berlin ... it would likely have been when I first created this character and was in the process of building my reps

6. By the way .... what's your Kusari ship doing in Rheinland ... eh? The pot and the kettle my friend ... pull the plank out of your eye before you try taking the splinter from mine.

My BD ship was there because someone who was pirating needed an extra gun against the RM and they requested me there.

My ship has a tag to go with ID, and it shows up red to lawfuls, not white like the black.pearl does.

What you fail to understand is that what the game engine shows as red/white/green on your HUD is based on YOUR reputation with the person on your HUD ... not the other way around. I show white because YOU are white with me. While I show white on YOUR HUD ... you would show red on MINE. It is precisely for this reason that the rules cover this situation. Please read ...

6.6 PvP combat is allowed only on roleplay basis. The pilot who is attacking must scan for an ID prior to the attack. Relying on general reputation status (red/neutral/green) without scanning for the ID is not allowed.

Non-RP attacks are considered PvP abuse and are sanctioned accordingly.
