you dont need a smuggler ID to carry anything that the game does not consider contraband. You cant be sanctioned for trading diamonds etc, just RP consequences apply here.

There are some real RP jerk offs out there. I was threatened to be killed for 'smuggling' diamonds in my rhino when i was <l30. If you trade diamonds you have to pay the piper. Nowhere in the rules does it say you can be sanctioned for trading in rheinland. The embargo is RP.

What if I bought a Outcast Dreadnaught and didn't register it? would i be OORP? no, i would be defying the OC request and placing myself on their KOS intentionally or inadvertantly. Thats My business. Same with trading with a trader ID. If you arent smuggling contraband you can have a trader ID. Thast server side not player side. The embargo is stricly player side.

You can't sanction someone for RP created by players in the game itself. Rheinland police NPCs, after scanning you, do not consider any of those goods contraband either. As a result, you can't threaten a player with sanctions for doing something that is done via the RP of other players on Discovery. Those trade goods that you said were contraband are not contraband through the game's RP itself. The person has no possibility of finding out unless he digs through over 20-30 pages of RP.

As a result, while you can encourage him to RP that way, you cannot say that he is going to get sanctioned.

And yes, implying that someone is going to be sanctioned is the same time as actually saying, "I'm going to report you."

Secondly, even though you did block out the person's name, did you actually inform them that this private conversation was going to be displayed on the forums?

Other than that, I don't see anything afoul here. A formal apology to that player is probably the best thing you can do right now, Balthazzar.

I have to admit i had a police tag on my indy miner ship . And i have done almost everything to lower my reps with Police and it worked......

However then i got an kusari naval forces tag with my img id the dropping kusari rep i got gateway tag followed by navy tag ,lsf tag and so further

Shooting npc's is not a solution because it also lowers your targeted faction id rep wich you have to fix by doing a mission.... and that results to yes a police tag

i got sick of trying and abandoned the char to start all over



You see the problem is new players start making money by doing some missions and when they finally have enough money to start trading the damage is done and is impossible to fix

(it has nothing to do with lazyness)

so id say leave them alone as long as they are lawfull traders, The most of them worked hard to get the char a little funding so starting over will be a pain again (missing your mapped routes)

I had no idea. That means diamond niobium run is perfectly valid for any traders RP because he discovered the JH to chugoku and is using it as shortcut. (it is a players freedom to avoid forum topics bout NovaPG right?)


and another thing... someone has to be wrong/right in this situation so you teach me diablo.... which one of the following parties is ooRP:

1) the traders OFFICIALLY TRADING what LP player faction considers contraband in Liberty.
or
2) The LP player faction for not behaving like the NPC models you present us as "the only valid" for setting contradicting Liberty laws.

Well if that the case then ill admit I used the wrong approach. I had no idea that warning someone 'bout faction policies and how admins react would sound like a threat since i expressed 2 times how i want to help him avoid it (it = sanction)

And as i stated so many times i DON'T WANT HIM SANCTIONED and my cry for your assistance to raise the consciousness level of RP is being twisted into rules lawyering.

Admit it. You all have Police tagged trader ships runing similar rutes with no RP whatsoever and now youre ganging on me in this thread to kill the idea of quality RP enforcement. You can also admit that you consider trading not eligible to RP but use it for powertrading to buy yourself a nice 60 mil bomber or 600 mil cruiser.

As far as you're concerned he is a generic powertrader. For all you care he might have never existed.
As long as he doesn't reveal himself in this thread he is safe from any forum lynching.

If he chooses to reveal himself he automatically agrees that those were his words and that he is fine with everyone knowing that he said that.
