Guard Tag

Alright lets get right to it!

Let's Say you are trying to get an Order Guard Tag


So we, being Order pilots, know it could possibly be
un-godly annoying to get a Order tag. An even
more annoying to go for the Guard tag.

First: I did 30 Order Missions

With the help an osiris and other players
all I did was sit by the Isis and got the missions
while they went about doing them.

Second: Failed about 15 Order Missions

First I made sure that the Order Guard was
full friendly with me.

This by constantly re-logging the ship
in using F1(No one was around during this)
It was the server's quiet time.




NOW: By now you should be full neutral
with the Order, which I was, but full Friendly
with the Guard. If you have only 4 kills
(And nothing else, yes I was lazy)

You should get

Lost Affiliation: The Order
New Affiliation: Order Guard



And thats how I got it the easy way.

Maybe we should try it that way next time. Heh



((This should actually work on all factions that have missions))


Now if you don't have anyone to kill the stuff for you while you
sit there and watch. You will need to become full friendly first
to both the faction you want as the default ie. "The Order" and
full friendly with the Guard one you want ie."Order Guard."

Now once there full friendly both of them.

You start failing missions.

Once you get to neutral (about) you want to relog or undock
and it should say

LOST Affiliation: The Order(Or what ever faction)

Then say the new one that you gained.

If it's not the right one you need to go fail missions for the
tag that you just gained til it's neutral as well. An continue til
the correct tag is there.

Then voila you have your tag!

No it decreases the normal Order rep but Guard rep stays the same. Its really hard to lose guard rep

Good to know, Stew. I'll be working on a GMG Guard tag soon, so perhaps I'll just spam GMG missions, then fail them once the Guard is max friendly.

Keep in mind if you kill things the rep increases with others as well that are affiliated with them

So if you have someone else do the mission for you it will work
If you do it. You have to go from base to base of the tag you acquired until you get the right tag. Some factions may not appear on your list but you will get it as a tag if they are associated as enemies to the targets you killed.

Thanks, if what you say is true then maybe my problems with my tag are over:DI'm constantly trying to keep my Corsair tag, but whenever I do missions for em in Gamma, my affiliation changes to FA. Here's hoping that with the Corsair Guard I'll have better luck:)

Also during next mod you will need a Guard ID to fly capital ships above gunboat so if you have a cap ship I recommend you go get your guard tag soon.

hehe, I remember when I got my Order guard tag on the Reliance... I did basically that so that the Order guard was next in line on my rep list, but then I started getting the tag of factions I didn't even have on my rep list lol. So I had to go find those factions, bring their rep down, and I did this like 4 times before the Order Guard finally became my tag. I had like lane hacker, hessian and some kusari tag, it was annoying hehe.

Cap ships with bad ID will need to get the ID or lose the ship.
