Discovery mod should learn something from this

Look at the missile, look at the flaks...




The missile doesnt track for awhile after launch from the barrel..and look at the Thruster effect, it's like the engine in cruise status....the Nomad flaks was awsome..

This was shown around a couple of times yes....

1. Did you notice how fast the fighters/bombers go down?

2. Did you notice how easy it was to spam and hit with those missiles from the gb?

and most important one:
3. Imagine those thousands of projectiles on server with 150 people on...

And yes we can mod in all that what was shown there, but doesn't look like we will for the reasons above.

/signed, but think about the realism in it. Still, I don't want the server to lag, I already get a lot of red connection now and then and still more, I will never be able to play the game.

Very pretty, but with FL as it is the server would have a fit trying to run that sort of detail with 150+ people on.

fighter missiles that actually track, wow...

Start you own server and do some testing.. you'll notice that those extremely bad tracking discovery missiles hit with 99% of all shots fired. They are simply completely uber without server lag.

Then question yourself how many players/lag there was when these people were testing theirs.

pretty explosions! I like the look of that, the missiles did seem pretty hot. Although stuff was being destroyed a bit easily.

I love the flak and the reasons why the fighters fell so fast is because look how fast the guns to the cruiser were firing. They are like machine guns.

Been here since Discovery 4.77 (lurk mode engaged)

I have recently met and discussed with Atalawohisdi the trader that flies the Caribe. Just so everyone knows, I engaged in Sigma 13. He flies through half the system before going back to New Berlin, where he cruises from one side of the system to the other, hugging the sun as close as he can. All the while, he flies near Battleships trying to scrape me off. I finally send out the white flag, and move back to Sigma 13. However, it was a ruse, and he bit. Knowing his trade route, I interdicted the trade lane and the chase began anew. It ended, an hour after it began, with me retreating, out of Countermeasures and getting very irritated.

He kept boasting how he has never been caught; I'd like to see him beat until he begs to pay, then beaten some more.
