Akumabito is right here. Just because its in a foreign language doesn't mean it's allowed. Personal insulting or swearing isn't allowed in any language...
Its fairly obvious what is and isn't allowed here, and in what context some of the more obscure text is used.
If you don't say it to your Mother, don't use it in chat, and if you have to think about a word or two, then they
are probably best not used either.
Most of you are more than smart enough to be inventive if you have to cuss in roleplay ...
And swearing is swearing in any language, we do have some very reliable translators here, so very little is
missed.

So basically we are banning everything because a few people might get their feeler feelers hurt? And the "Kids play here" is just an excuse, honestly kids now days, can more than likely cuss just as well as any of us adults. Swearing is out there, everywhere, it is illogical to say that the person that gets offended at the drop of one swear word wouldn't hear those same words in their day to day life, I work at one of the largest engineering companies in the world and we highly value professionalism, and I hear the guy across the hall swearing all the time. And people dont change their ways because they make ONE person uncomfotable. I fully support the use of swear words in RP context. Wehn someone becomes outright insulting, then it should be sanctionable.

The sanction generally come when the cussing is either using the F bomb or is used as a personal insult on the server.
A list of banned words would be nice though, because there are a lot of gray area words that I would say to my own dear mother, that might draw me a sanction here.
The rules are definitely ignored when it suit the admins though.
"3.2 Flaming, threats and insulting (in any form) other members, factions, server administrators in chat, public or private, is prohibited on server and on forums. RP-related threats are allowed on the server."
Well, we all know people are allowed to insult other people here, as my sig will often show.
I use the BSG term frak when I need a stronger curse than hell or damn. I also make prolific use of the words dang, blast, heck, crap, and bull. =) i took everything my mom and me say to each other routinely and dumbed it down a notch. Seems to be working so far.
Also the occasional in coherant "RAWWWWURAAAARRRRGH!" is useful.
Yep my mother and I swear at each other all the time, we dont mean anything by it, but it negates the "If you wouldent say it around your mother" thing.

With all due respect, Hoodlum, if it was obvious this topic never would've been posted. It's come up before, and this was the same response provided last time.
Maybe instead of saying "its fairly obvious" every time it comes up, the admins should actually clarify it?
