Just because slavery eventually became abolished, doesn't mean the the plantation houses were destroyed too. Nay! They stand magnanimous to this day, speaking for what once was and still blending perfectly into the world around us.

That's the most rediculous thing you've said yet. You say: "no one lost anything", then you say that they can't drink the koolaid.

Let me say this to the "fairness" argument: A good compromise will leave everyone unhappy, the most logical course of action would be to do the thing that enrages the fewest amount of people, the "path of least resistance" if you will.

You know, I am really disappointed. Here again we have a legitimate point for discussion completely hijacked by spam and petty personal arguments. I am really getting tired of seeing a 9 or 10 or 14 page thread, where a legitimate question starts the thread, maybe a few more posts after that, and then the thread gets taken over by the same 4 people, and we end up with a thread that is inevitably locked or moved to flood, where 90% of the posts are from the same 4 people.
Whats even more upsetting than that is that everyone else on the forum seems to have lost interest because of these people. Many would try to take part in the debate, but are unable to even keep up when in the time it takes you to form a coherent post, that lays out what you want to say, the debate has moved off onto another topic, and 4 or 5 more posts have been made since you started writing yours. My favorite in this thread is Noobs WEEEEEEE post, which really shows everyone just how appropriate his forum name really is. I am tired of our forums being completely dominated by 4 or 5 people due to their talent in being able to type fast, even at the expense of making a thought out argument.
Now I am ok with people thinking I am a jerk, so I am going to say this. As someone who has been here for a good long while now, Tenacity, Orin, Akum, Noob, and others who want to be like them, you are ruining this forum, you have taken the debate on this server from something that while argumentative and sometimes hostile, in which ideas and issues were discussed and good well thought out arguments were made, to something that resembles a fight between 13 year old girls. Please, think about how your behaviors effect other people in the community. It has become impossible to ask a question or have a legitimate discussion about something without it turning into Tenacity, Akum, and Orin yelling at each other, and noob running around with a whoopee cushion, making fart nosies.
