It worked! Yes!
Now I've got that completed, let's move on ...
Day one was quite fun! To save on bandwidth i'll have to upload it in chunks, here's part one:
Quote:The day was quite eventful considering it was my first. Upon launching from Palmero, I was confronted by multiple Corsair Titans. Naturally I took the opportunity to try out my new ship's capabilities. I killed them all. It was so easy. The voice commands worked a treat and couple with predesignated procedures, I could fly the ship and blast them to pieces without breaking a sweat!
The screams ... Oh the screams ... It was so beautiful. Truly. The look of despair in their eyes was unforgettable. Like I'd ever want to! Hah!
Anyway, after undocking I figured I'd get out of Outcast space - Don't wanna overstay my welcome, do I? I headed over to the Tau 31 system. This turned out to be a pretty good choice.
I shortly arrived at Holman Outpost, an IMG depot centrally placed in the system. This was surely the perfect spot for catching some convoys to play with. There was already somebody there, however ... A Cruiser.
The name that came up on my scanners was "Reliant". Scans showed it was a Talacara Cruiser licensed by the Kusari Naval Forces.

Quote:We had a little chat ... I tried to get them to play but they were too scared of my Falcata. It must be a good ship to have such a fearsome reputation! Seems I chose well.

Quote:Mere moments later, another vessel appeared on scanners. Considering my previous attempts failed, I tried to trick this one. My convincing him that I was a lawful escort failed however ... I just can't seem to get it right.
He went silent ... Just ignored me. Moments later he jumped systems, typical. Seems like I'll have to try a different approach.

Damn, that upload limit is getting irritating now ...
Quote:Shortly afer, I moved towards the Tau-29 Jump Gate. Scanners picked up a Battlestar Advanced - a behemoth of a ship! It registered as "Yoda-[T]". A conversation ensued.
Scans revealed 50 crew, 10 zoners and half a dozen VIPs.

I think when I get back to Mactan I'll be asking those Hackers for help ... I need more bandwidth.
Quote:Due to several minor engagements with IMG escort fights (cowards ran away ...) my stores of nanobots and shields batteries were lowered. I'd devised a new tactic for getting Traders to "talk" to me - I needed to be full on all stores.
Apporaching the Battlestar Advanced again, I picked up signals of another Trader entering the system from the Tau-29 Jump Gate. I had to be quick! Luckily the refilling didn't take long, it seems the Yoda had been outfitted for this purpose. Approaching the Trader, I opened a comm channel.
The fool fled to Leeds ... Why do they always do that!? Just because I shot a few Cruise Disruptors at him ... *sigh*

AHA! It worked! I managed to get a message off to Mactan!
Seems they're extraditing me out of Newgate to Liberty. I asked the Hackers to bust me out in Magellan - let's hope they do it, eh? Else I'll be spending my remaining weeks in transit and then in court.
I met a guy in here, says his name's Ronny O'Keith. "Molly by birth, Molly by death". He fixed me up with a makeshift comm device, turns out I can hotwire this thing to transmit messages to reporting dumps. Good job I remember the passcodes for the Mactan one, eh?
Well, I'll leave it here. Hopefully I'll be reading this message again in a few weeks time and laughing at how easy it was to escape ... We can hope.
