Roleplay, being pirated.

My skills in PVP are greatly enhanced in my trader. (True story.)

Hence, people fail at pirating me. Unless I do not feel like a chase or battle.

(I do not think I am a powertrader.:))

(If someone says kill me, because it is cheaper, that is power-gaming. Report them for OoRP?)

When you get pirated, the last thing you wanna do is die, traders don't wanna die. So when a trader goes, "You know what, just kill me." Isn't that a bit out of roleplay.. Post your comments.

Well ... I've come to the conclusion that there are some traders that are completely helpless. I've encountered one that goes by NAME CENSORED tonight. I don't mind it when they don't wanna pay. But when they continue to trade the same "exact" route ... jump hole and all ... over and over and over and over and over ... and I destroy their ship over and over and over and over again ... yet they absolutely refuse to say a word. That's flipping annoying. This guy is the perfect example of a power trader who cares nothing for role play. My prediction though ... he's the next Kuun Lan. We'll be seeing him in an uber cap hunting pirates within a week or two.

It was pretty sad ... I was pleading with this guy to just say one word and I'd leave him alone. But no ... this guy's gotta ignore me over and over and over again. I'm sending out role play phrase over and over again ... and all I hear is crickets. I destroy his trade vessel 7 or 8 times (I lost count) and he says nothing. I got about 200k+ credits from each load of cargo he dropped (public math ... that's over about 1.5 mil). And all I asked for was 500k and be done with me. Thick skulls ... that's all I can say ... thick skulls.

Have you ever tried to annoy the pirate, by smalltalk when getting taxed? If you are good enough with, it might be the last time this pirate was taxing you.:cool:

Yeah, pretty much. I RP that when you die you get a clone, it takes 4 hours (as per the 6th day. Even with 'respawning' (however you RP it) thats still a stretch that someone would do that.

On the other hand, heres a little advice: I broke my own rule and flew without either an escort or counter measures. Lost my first trader ship to stupididty. Basicaly, as far as either evading pirates with a smuggler or trader or evading lawfuls with a smuggler, I have yet to be caught in smaller ships capable of evading, In larger ships without cms I have been taxed or killed only when no escort was present.

So in a nutshell, its oorp to begin with to fly without an escort or a ship that can't evade/defend.
