This is Guild Master Aiden Patrick from the Shadow Stalkers Organization, part of the Bounty Hunters Guild. Your rogue transmission was received and I am contacting you to offer the assistance of the SSO. Piracy has been going up as of late and the SSO can help by providing escorts or tracking down these foul pirates and terrorists for vengeance on your behalf. All for reasonable rates.
If anyone is interested in the services please contact me over secure comms (OOC:In game)
Transmission Ends
We have received a tramsmission from the Shadow Stalkers organization concerning
escorting duties. All members are free to make any arrangements where their health
and that of their cargo is felt to be in danger.
The danger of Pirate, and especially the Phantom Organization, attacks are now becming
rife in Sirius. Kusari naval, and police protection seems particularly poor at this time.
The Rheinland Military and The Sirius Fedaration both appear to be getting very active
again of late. We can only hope.
That is all, and lets be careful out there.

In the mad rush to get back on our feet, I have obtained quite a bit of trade information. If any of you need a few hints, contact me over the usual secure channels.
Expansion of the organization continues apace. New member, and a little less experienced
in the art of the trade, Daddy Warbucks has joined us in money making. Please make
him feel welcome and give him a bit of a hand with the technicalities of the slightly larger
ships employed by our fleet. And show him how to read a nav map ...
I believe the 'Over the top manouvre' has been adequately demonstrated by our lovely
Caylith ... A sight to behold apparently, though not to be tried at home.

As ably stated by our big guy, I'll be lucky to find my way to the bar, much less a pig-in-a-poke profitable trade route. But heys.. we know how to run!
Speakin' of bars, the usual is what passes for Sapphire and tonic, and those I choose to drink with call me Pops, in honor of my dotage.
Thanks for the invite, folk.
Am always available for the odd errand, lesson, or adventure.

Welcome again Pops, why don't you join Markus, Marauder and me on the roof of the bar? We're having fun looking from above ;)
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor

Have a little paperwork to finish with the Jefe. Still haggling over the interest rate and terms on the "note" for my "seed money".
Then I'll be up, as soon as I can find the bloody stairs! Meanwhile, I've got the tab up there... and save me a little of that Gold!!
marauder,Sep 25 2006, 10:06 AM Wrote:"Gold?" marauder frowned, "Nope thats in dublin mate, I can introduce you to some of my molly friends if you like?"
Well met, Marauder. Have heard quite a bit about you. Call me Pops. And, that's not exactly the "gold" I was referrin' to. Takes long enough to run the routes, I've found, without havin' to do the mining thing too... Thanks for the offer, though.
Quote:"Gold isn't worth that much, however this 'gold' coffee stuff is great!" markus said cheerfully.

My Goddess, you're makin' Coffee with it now?? Guess that's one think that hasn't suffered from sirius inflation.. I've been hoardin' my supply of the K.G... just a wee pinch in the ol' Meershaum now 'n then for "illumination". I have heard that the new hydroponics project on Curacao is beginning to produce some primo stuff. Gonna make it a regular stop on the route.
"Pops old chap ... I think what Markus is refering to is the Nescafe variety of *gold*
that is never served in these hallowed halls. We, of course only have the real thing,
and I don't mean Coca Cola ... Gaggia always do the job for me.
The true illuminatin' KG is readily available, as quoted by CaboverPete, *with a reefer on*
in all forms curtesy of those lovely people at Orbital Spar and Cruise.
Tends to make the ass of your ship wiggle a little when docking." ...
