Since you are being curtious (spell check disabled) about it please mention what you have on your mind.
as for those that want to just gripe.... meh hold ye tongue;) Long term project is to pull the ships out 1 by 1 and open in 3D apps to give the FULL splendor of each;)
' Wrote:Your Corsair Dreadnought seems kinda green... maybe take all your SS's in New York so that there is no discoloration?
was mentioned before, all screen shots are taken in their natural location.
Sorry I am doing this out of kind to help all that want pics of their ships in avatars. I am removing glowing lights etc to help get cleaner pics. However I am not moding the files to much as to help reduce crashes (and a few recorded as yet;)) and nope, I have no desire to fly them all to New York or another system.
Reasons for doing this Now in this fashion:
1) In the short time I have been on the forums I have seen requests for sigs and avis to have certain ships that some do not have shots of. this is to increase that DB.
2) to give other players a chance to actually see some ships they may never have before.
3) because their was much fuss (even by me) for links to continue his work but we have not seen any.
Something not mentioned:
My long term project of which have been contemplating.
Process 1: Take all standard and modded ships out of the game, pump them into my 3D apps and create larger better cleaner shots than what you get from the game engine.
Process 2: Disco trailer using the 3D models and their splendor. Incorporating Characters to represents Disco's Role Play.
Um... are you taking the pics on the server, or on a personal server or SP? Because the advantage from using a personal server or SP to take the shots is that you can just teleport the ship to New York yourself, as well as not needing to save up on the server to buy the ships...
Still, if you are using something you can edit your characters on, don't fly the ships all the way to NY, just teleport there:)
P.S. Here's where you can download the Ioncross software: ioncross.com/software (the character editor is for SP, the server manager is for a server if you don't mind running a personal server for the shots)
THEY TOLD ME I COULD BE ANYTHING SO I BECAME A SIGNATURE PLS HLP

loli
I not so noob as you think;)Just lazy. I had FL when it came out and bounced across many and many of mods.
Yes I have the latest updated char editors, server editors etc etc etc;) I used to host, mod and build. The teleport is handy but not all mod ships will teleport nicely. hence I just avoid any complications and take the shot right there in their own systems. As is my FL files are all ready hashed up bad enough to get things the way I want them on this laptop;) no need to float in a server, just game side. for now time wise modding the turret views and removing the clutter off the ships is about as far as I am gunna bother.
Yet, once I begin the larger project I am going to work on,,, lets just say you wont be able to recognize any of the systems... which reminds me, I need to build TL and System gates;)
' Wrote:can you please make some renders of the OC dessie?
i asked a while before but i think you forgot it;)
thanks in advance
have not forgotten, was going alphabeta(whatever) to it but tis taking time. when I get the next one completed I will do as an out take and just insert here until the main thread gets to it;)
Really shouldn't be taking them in their home systems... >_> The coloring is thrashed on some of them, and on others, they're almost to dark to pick out any detail.
