Just a message to let you all know I've recruited a new member into our trainee programme with the 2nd Royal Squadron, who goes by the name Ovidius. I have helped him start up and gone over the basics of our fine clan, I hope if you should meet him in space you can support him as you would any of our pilots :0)
Ovidius's current ships are: [SF]-SFF-Ovidius and [SF]-SFT-Ovidius.
Welcome to the SF Ovidius, I've assigned your fighter actually to the 1st Royal Squadron which is charged with the defense of Cambridge/Bretonia (we're short fighters there so it would be a good place to start). You've also requested the ability to use a gunboat, given your previous experience I have no problem there.
Be it known I would like to limit battleships to the command level though.

IMPORTANT ADDITION: PLEASE READ:
Three ELF ships were destroyed in Cambridge today at different times. After engaging us, we destroyed all of them and they gave up after that. I would like to thank SNS Payne for helping us (at a cost of three million credits of course). The cost to us was minimal, but well worth it, pitting five ships on one at a time. However, this was beneficial enough for us to lose no men in this battle at all, while going up against a battleship, destroyer, and cruiser, but all at different times.

Situation Report
A border worlds pirate got a little couragous and decided to see how deep they could get into Cambridge with SF vessels nearby. The gunboat was delt with by the combined power of the SFDS-Ovidius and my fighter and will likely think twice before attempting that again.
The SFSB-MAGNIFICENT was also successfully launched this morning. Although its weapons systems are not yet fully operational, work is being done to bring the vessel to combat readiness in view of recent pirate activity.

With the declared hostilites between sso| and Bs|, the SF will remain in a neutral position (agreements have been developed on both sides and are proving useful, respectively).
With this neutrality neither side is to be permitted to have ships stationed in Cambridge (visiting is fine but not stationed). SF vessels will render aid to any lawful or allied trading vessel attacked within our space. So sso| if you're going to attack Bs| do not do it on our front porch, similar thing to Bs|.

K, update to the faction page. Nothing major just assigned some unresponsive fighters to particular groups. Trip, I'd like your fighter with Excaliber on the Omega side, along with one other fighter (looking for a volunteer). I've assigned Seal, Knio and Gareth to the Cambridge Defense Fleet although I've yet to hear a word from them or someone speak on their behalf.

Admiral, if you wish to clean it up even more, you can take SFF-Thames off the list for now. As this fighter is a low priority for me, it is unimportant and uninvolved in the fleet. When I do create the character, I will tell you so that it can be placed back on. As for now, I have no fighter by the name of Thames.

I'm pleased to announce the successful launching of the SFGB-RELENTLESS from Leeds today. Steps are underway to bring the new vessel to full combat readiness ASAP for deployment along the Kusari border.
