In german you'd write Zweihaender with umlaut. Hm. You really think it's that good? I thought it was a Borderworld and not a Rheinland ship...
I'm not quite happy with Zweihaender. Isn't Scimitar an option?
It's nearer to sabre, since it resembles that ship.
What's so great about Zweihaender? It doesn't stand in relation to the rest of Line. A Zweihaender is a very large weapons Knights used, while the others were rather used for fencing. Zweihaender doesn't sound that well even when you're german...
At least not for this ship...
I propose naming it Scimitar and rename the dagger replica could be foil....

Nah, the Scimitar has been established since quite some time now, renaming it should not be necessary.
This being said, I don't like 'Zweihaender' that much either, mostly because it does not refer to one specific weapon in German - 'Zweihaender' can be any sword held by two hands.
I'd suggest 'Bihaender' (the specific term for the German sword you mean) or 'Flamberg' (The blade of this sword looks rather similar to the Series U design).
I proposed Zweihaender, because the ship looks like a heavier version of the Sabre (albiet, slightly). Fencing weapons don't really seem to fit any more.
That, and Zweihaender is sort of a Germanic version of the Gaelic Claymore.
Besides, why should the name refer to one specific sword? Look at the Sabre, or Dagger. Both can be used for a number of different swords.
