First time i ever played Freelancer i used the Rhineland Humpback with firekiss turrents as a moble gun platform. i had modded the difficulty so i could just sit there and hardly take any damage. i remeber when i got 1 million credits. i thought i was so cool.

First, get a ridiculous amount of money and upgrade to the best disco ship you can. 5 seconds before the cutscene ends, spam bots and bats while pretending you are flying like crazy, when the scene ends, you might be alive, might not.
I was trying to be a purist about it. The ONE time out of 40-50 attempts (I was a game tester, 40-50 is basically slacking off) I got out of the cutscene alive, I was blasted 1-2 seconds later. So my record for best attempt in a vanilla ship: 3-5 feet. I am pretty sure you are taking damage through the entire cutscene.
After you've tried that; go find the 'constants.ini' and change the HULL_DAMAGE_FACTOR to 0.35000 instead of 0.50000 and you can actually PLAY the scene (remember to change back for online luvvin).
I just wanted to play the campaign again 'on hard' not watch a single cutscene OVER and OVER.

This here really confuses me in Disco.
Why did the Order turn to the Corsairs and abandon there evident relations with the outcasts?
